I am developing a small app and I wish to use the wordpress user roles and capabilities and authentication system.
The problem is that I don't know wich file I do need include in order to use the wp session and features and where I need to place my files.
Do I need to put files in root or in theme?
Do I need to develop it as a plugin?
Cheers

Is there a known way of connecting WordPress and Sharepoint in a way, that i can choose files located in Sharepoint inside my WordPress media library?
I searched for hours, but cannot find a solution.
Probably looking the wrong direction.
I read the Sharepoint API -Documentation on files, and learned that I could probably write a Plugin myself, but this will probably get pretty time consuming.
I also found a tutorial on how to automatically create posts in WP from Sharepoint using Powerautomate. I could probably adjust this in order to push files from Sharepoint to WordPress. But I actually don't wont to copy files to WordPress, I want to access them directly.
As a further approach i integrated OneDrive into WordPress using this plugin
But this just creates a new problem because I can't find a way to access the folder, created by the Plugin in OneDrive from Sharepoint.
It boggles my mind, that I can't find a ready made solution.
I can't be the only one with that requirement, or am I?
Help is greatly appreciated
So I am trying to customize my already running website via custom code
for better user experience etc.
I see a lot of people developing for WordPress via the code editor
and I simply can't find any information on how I can access my website
via a code editor and customize it with customer HTML, CSS, and javascript (or react.js)
and of course, PHP if necessary.
Could anyone please help me where I can find that information?
I would be very grateful!
Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but I go to CPanel on my host and open File Manager. Scroll down to the public_html folder and the web site below that. Select a PHP file and click Edit. Beware, though, that updating the theme will wipe out any changes when taking this approach.
So i have built an angular website that uses the GoogleBooksAPI to fetch some book list. And then I show it on my single page app.
Now, i'd like to deploy it somehow to see if it's working.
So i tried to add the project to github pages. github project link:
https://github.com/DrorSC/DrorSC.github.io
And was unsuccesful..
So i thought on a different option. I have a domain, and a wordpress site on it. Maybe i can add the files to my Cpanel and load it into my domain? Or can i do it straight from wordpress?
Tried to look for answers, couldn't find.
Please help. thank you :)
If I understand correctly I think Angular Element will be your best choice. It works the best if you want to integrate Angular web app into your existing website.
Building Custom Elements / Web Components with Angular 6
After build the project. You can use the content of the dist directory into your host.
If you will put your code into a subfolder, you will need specify the path as argument on the CLI for the build.
Can dropzone be setup to handle files and insert them into the wordpress media libary? I have seen some ways to upload files to the server, but I don't know how to include them into the wp library.
Thanks
This has been asked before - and yes it's possible but I wouldn't call it an easy task because you have to add the wordpress code as well into it.
See the answer here
I want to build a web site in wordpress. A web version like mysite.com and a mobile version like m.mysite.com. I am thinking that will it do able in wordpress because wordpress save domain name in database.
mysite.com/m will be possible but the requirement is to go with m.mysite.com.
The approach in this helped me: http://www.phillipadsmith.com/2011/11/note-to-self-a-simple-way-to-accomplish-mobile-site-redirection-using-mod-rewrite.html
However, proper creation of templates and css will really make the need redundant.
