Check out the Game of Flex (available for both iOS and Android). Under Native extensions you'll find the code snippet for sending SMS using an URLRequest. Something like this:
<s:Button label="send" click="navigateToURL(new URLRequest('sms:125498964'))" />

Sending an individual push notification to a specific user of webview Android application

Is it possible to send an individual push notification to a specific user of webview Android application?
I have a webview based Android application. Android 8 blocks all background processes and my application can not anymore check for messages every 5 minutes and to show push notifications is there are new messages. As I understand almost the only solution is to use firebase to show notifications.
My question is: can I send individual Firebase notifications to webview application users? If yes, how? People who login to my website from Android phones, enter their data in a login form that loads my website. It's not a Android login form. How can I at the same time login to Firebase and how Firebase will know that this user is already logged in if it's only a webwiew application?
A webview is not capable of directly receiving Cloud Message payloads. The only browsers that works with Cloud Messaging are those that support the Push API.
What you can do instead is receive the payload in the native layer of your Android app (using a normal Android integration with a service that receives the payload), then proxy it to your webview as needed, using webview's ability to inject javascript into it (while it's visible). This definitely is not a trivial amount of work.

xamarin.forms push notifications server side

I implemented the .p12 Certificate for APN(Apple Push Notification) to my Windows Server.
Now I have an xamarin.forms App where i downloaded the Plugin.PushNotification.
I implemented in AppDelegate.cs RegisteredForRemoteNotifications, FailedToRegisterForRemoteNotifications and DidReceiveRemoteNotification Methods.
My question is, which Project (MVC, ASMX..) should I create on Server Side to send notifications to the Users who installed the App.
Furthermore I have an Portal programmed which is on this Server too. In this Portal I can send an message to the App too. But which Service do i Need ?
Thanks
No programming required at all :) Use https://onesignal.com for free, unlimited apps & notifications for iOS/Android + Web Push
In my WebApp I used PushSharp to send Notifications to different devices.
In my App I use Plugin.PushNotification and it works like a charm.

How to send one signal notification from asp.net webapi to ionic app

I'm developing android and iOS application using cordova ionic and I include one signal notification as a feature in my app.
I register onesignal and test to push notification. It's work well.
Now I want to send onesignal notification from asp.net web api to perticular user.
I have tried this url but I failed. Also i am unable to get device token in my app.
Thank you.
You need to call window.plugins.OneSignal.getIds and store ids.userId from the callback.
You can then make a POST call to the https://onesignal.com/api/v1/notifications endpoint from your ASP.NET code setting the include_player_ids to the userId retrieved from your app.
There is an ASP.NET example towards the bottom of the endpoint documentation page listed below.

Read Notification via web

I want to implement a push notification service. The idea is to use the GCM Service. Is it possible to read the notifications both via web app (the app is written in php using laravel) and via mobile app for the authenticated users using the same technology?
I think it is possible, I also see this tutorial that can help you to achieve that. It also use PHP as a sample, so it seems like your work will be easier:)
It explains here the basic steps that you need to achieve push notification. It has a sample code and a screenshot to make you understand more the content of this tutorial.
In developing this application, it involves two parts, a GCM Server Application that create Web application using Php to send message to User via GCM Cloud server and GCM Client Application that create Android application which receive messages sent from GCM Server Web App.

How to upload or send photo from iOS device to web server

How can I allow a user from an iOS device to upload an image to my server using asp.net?
NOTE A native iOS application is not an option for us at this time.
I'm open to any crazy idea, like emailing the image to some email address that I monitor which in turn puts it into a database that the web application is using.
Sending via email is common practice as far as I know.
