Recently i really was amazed by openstreet maps, and it's very possibilities to manipulate data, aswell the free of charge about many prescious things - like geocoding and the maps itself.
But i wish to still having a backup behind with google maps.
Is it possible to having both of them in Flex, and how ?
( or at least where i can look for similar project of "unification" )
It appears that OpenStreet Maps has a REST API. You can access that API in a Flex application using the HTTPService; assuming a proper crossdomain.xml file is in place.
If not; you'll have to use a proxy between your Flex app and the REST API.
MapQuest has an Open Flash API that uses OpenStreetMap data. They also offer an Open Flash Mobile API that can be used with Flash Builder to build apps for the iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry tablet with the new tools in Flex 4.5+.
Feel free to check out the documentation on the MapQuest Developer Network!

I want to use HERE Maps in a WPF application. How can I implement it? Which API and which Control should I use? Please share some basic example.
Just came across this open topic. Did you have a look for the JavaScript API? You could embed this into your application.
Further information can be sound here:
https://developer.here.com/develop/javascript-api
Besides of that you can also use the HTTPRest interfaces for map display (common tiling schema), Routing, Geocoder etc.
Is there anyway not to use .swc from google maps for the flex application, as the application i want to develop will be accessible on mobile also.
The project which was free and open source Flash implementation of google maps were terminated in 2006 ( if i remember correctly ) with the "birth" of the official google maps for flash.
Regardless it is super performance and outstanding capabilities by a very reason unknown google is deprecating them now.
( terms of 3 years support anyway ).
I would suggest to move toward some really open source map provider as well.
http://openscales.org/ ( great possibilities )
http://www.mapquest.com/ ( very well maintained )
http://www.afcomponents.com/content/documentation/umap_as3/ ( paid but interesting )
Anyway for us - the mapers. There is still a hope that google will reconsider the Flash Maps API and continue it's development.
I am building a mobile application in Flex 4.5 and from this app I would like to start the device's native navigation tool, like Google Navigation for example.
Is there a way to open the Navigation App using Flex 4.5?
As far as I knew, there was no way to launch other applications from a mobile Flex App.
Some native apps can be opened using URLs. It is, basically, the Flash Platform version of saying "Let the OS Handle it." If you HTTP link to a video, for example, it may open in a native player or it may open in the browser.
You can open the native text messaging program using sms as the protocol. As far as I know, there is no universal URL to open navigation services.
This post alludes to the fact that linking to maps.google.com will do it.
You can look into using the AIR Geolocation services APIs; but that is intended for in-app usage not launching other apps.
You can try using StageWebView to open up google maps or something. I don't think there's a way to open the native navigation app because it might not be there and they're different for each device.
I wish to do screen sharing application using as3 as the part of one project.
how to get screen sharing video using as3. Thanks.
Screen sharing with flash is already possible with LiveCycle Collaboration Service. Read this article for more info
Update:
LiveCycle Collaboration Service is now known as Influxis Collaboration Service
AS3 does not support this per se. There are some solutions that use java or other technologies to stream through a streaming media server such as Flash Media Server (I'm guessing Fuze Meetings uses something like this), but you cannot do this with just the Flash Player alone. Adobe's Connect Now supports some screen sharing through their Acrobat.com service.
ScreenCamera SDK is definitily your best option here. It installs a camera on the system just like a regular webcam to which you can connect using Flex. ScreenCamera SDK remains completely invisibe to the end user so it looks like your app is doing all the video capture and recording and sharing.
You can test it from here:

I think this is the simplest way to do what you want to do,
Can you please tell how can we place ADS (whether Google Adsense or others) on a website completely designed in FLEX?
The easiest way is to not have your site COMPLETELY in flex. Otherwise you can have your flex ap use the AdSense API http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/featuresbenefits.html and make SOAP calls to it.
Other ad servers, like OpenX can also be handled this way (via their API) in flex. I don't know that any of them support cool stuff like AMF but OpenX is open source and in PHP so you could use the Zend Frameworks support of AMF to add that kind of functionality.
