I am working on a login page. In the main page, when a user clicks the login button, I want to deactivate the main page and to show the login form. The main page must stay disabled till the user finish in the login process.
Can any one tell me how can i do this?
You might find jquery UI dialog a useful plugin for achieving this task and especially its modal form functionality.

I am trying to customize the create user Wizard control in asp. What it does is redirecting me to a continue page after creating the user, but I want a custom page to be displayed after creating a page.... What can I do?
Handle CreatedUser event and then Response.Redirect()
or play with control's properties:
ContinueDestinationPageUrl Gets or sets the URL of the page that the user will see after clicking the Continue button on the success page.
FinishDestinationPageUrl Gets or sets the URL that the user is redirected to when they click the Finish button.
I have a back and next buttons and Iframe in main page.
On pressing next button next pages (which are forms to take input) are displayed in Iframe from server side.
I want to save data of current page in DB and then load 2nd page in Iframe. On clicking again save data of Page2 in DB and then load 3rd page in Iframe.
Similarly if user clicks back button he should get data of previous page.
Please suggest me how it can be achieved.
Thanks
To chane iframe src just use JS
function changeFrm(NewSrc){
document.getElementById('YOUR IFRAME ID').src=NewSrc;
};
And in your button add onClick="ChangeFrm('NEW SOURCE');"
Good luck!

any way/logic to do it ...?
Thanks,

There is no property that will allow you to determine whether the pageis accessed for the first time or not. One way to handle this is to use a Session variable where you could store whether the user has already visited the first page.
I have a third party form that I can't control. I'm putting that form on my webpage via an iFrame. I am then trying to redirect that iFrame to a new page after the form has been submitted.
Example:
User visits my webpage. They enter their email in the web-form. They then hit submit. The iFrame is redirected to a page that displays "Thanks for confirming your email!" etc..
Essentially after they enter their email I want that iFrame to redirect to a different page. I don't know how to do it because I don't control the form. I was thinking maybe adding a button or function when they hit enter or click submit that it submits the form then after a set amount of time it r
This is considered cross site scripting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_scripting so I'm not sure if it will work. Maybe you could open the subscribe form in a modal(like this http://colorpowered.com/colorbox/) and then the user will close the modal when he wants.
How to extend the session time. There are many form in my application like parent and child forms. So how can I make pop up to appear when session times out and the pop up should appear on the form where the user is currently in, when popup comes I have to disable all forms like(they should be transparent (i.e) user should NOT be able to edit them).
how can i extend the session when I click on the OK button. Please can anyone suggest me
You can have a javascript timer running on the page when it loads. When it gets close to the session time out you fire a modal popup with a button to extend the session.
Using a javascript library like JQuery or JQuery UI would make the modal popup real easy to show.
The extender button can be a fake postback that automatically extend the session.

Any postback / request to the server will extend your session window.
