Is it possible to add a code snippet to the editor without dragging it from the code snippet library? (like writing "#int.." and then when the code sense shows up select #interface and press some keys).
Control click the code snippet icon, should bring up a popover.
In the popover click the edit button.
Edit the "Completion shortcut" field.
in your case you would simply enter "#interface"

It seems a very simple requirement.
How do I put an image on a button? The delete button has a style variant of Icon, but I can't see where the image is coming from.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Where can I find all App Maker button icons? ...partially solved my problem, in that I can see the text value is used to find the icon resource, but I would like to know how to put my own image on a button.
If you really want to use an image file of your own, you can insert it as an Image widget, and then use the onClick event for the image to set the button's action.
With that said, I am a huge fan of the Material icon set that's linked from the Where can I find all App Maker button icons? question. I can pretty much always find an icon that works for what I need; then it's just a matter of setting the button style to Icon and using the name of the icon as the button text.
I have a project including 3 UI files: win_main.ui, win_table.ui and win_table2.ui.
I want to show one of them inside of win_main.ui, and with a button, change them.
I mean, there is a Box containing win_table.ui, and when I clicked the button, the box will change to win_table2.ui.
Example
I tried using QWidget, QQuickWidget, but they didn't worked.
Is it possible ? If yes, how ?
Try using a QTabWidget. You can flip between tables using tabs.
If there is a specific reason why you wouldn't want win_table2.ui showing before a button is pressed, you can disable that tab programmatically until it is ready. You can also flip between which tab is currently showing using code as well.

the (i) icon from the tooltip is the button to open the menu list.
the tooltip text is not visible.
Did I miss something?
Is this a known issue?
Yes, this is a known issue. If a tooltip and a menu are provided, a combined popup should be shown including the tooltip text and the menu items. But this has not been implemented yet. Feel free to open a bug.
However, if you only have one action you could set the property hasAction to true instead of using a menu. This will bring up a clickable arrow inside the field, actually intended to follow a link or open the email client. But you could also use it for any other action as well, just implement execAction. Please note that this feature is only available for string fields so far.
StringField with hasAction=true:
I have a button on clicking on it it is opening a Popup. The Popup contains below fields like., Textbox, OK and Cancel buttons. I am fine with cancel and Ok buttons. Help me in Giving text to that textbox using Robot Frame work. I am not able to find the Id/Name/Xpath of that particular field.
Assuming that the popup is a proper window and not an alert, you just need to select the window after it pops up. After that, your usual keywords like Input Text will work as expected.
The selenium2library user guide explains how to do this.
Input text is the way to go about this but what the locator is depends on how you are creating this pop-up. Please show us the code you are using to create the pop-up and then we can help you to add a locator to it. Generaly I use jquery locators as they are incredibly powerful so I would recommend looking to that as a way forward.
I have added a custom button to the navigator in my jqgrid and i am wondering how can i ,when i click on the button, show a dialog with the same style as the edit dialog and ask for some especific fields that are not included in the colModel. Those field would be to be sent to the server when clicking on ok button.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Carlos.
You can display the "Edit" dialog using editGridRow method. In the second (properties) parameter of the method you can include your custom beforeShowForm event handler which can make any modifications in the dialog.
See last demo from the answer for an example. The demo has the line
$('<tr class="FormData" id="tr_AddInfo"><td class="CaptionTD ui-widget-content">'+
'<b>Additional Information:</b></td></tr>').insertAfter (nameColumnField);
inside of beforeShowForm.
If the information which you need to show in the dialog are from the hidden column of the grid you can use simplified way which you find here. The main idea in the solution is that jqGrid include in the form dialog all hidden fields, but the corresponding row is hidden. So it is enough just to show the hidden row.
