Custompage Module-Issue with CSS (Drupal-6.x) - css

I'm new to Drupal and have recently installed the custompage module. I received a lot of errors until I placed "custom.tpl.php" in the custompage module folder. I am able to navigate to the custom page from the primary links. But, the CSS I created for that specific page is not showing up. I'm thinking it's because "custom.tpl.php" is located in the module folder of Drupal Core and my CSS is in the theme folder. But I'm not sure how to fix the problem.
I tried to copy the "custom.tpl.php" in my themes folder, but then I receive a lot of errors.
Any help would be appreciated.

The problem is not the module. The css should be available to every page in your theme.
Make sure that your CSS file is mentioned in YOURTEMPLATE.info file (YOURTEMPLATE is the name of your template).
It should look like that:
stylesheets[all][] = YOURCSS.css
If your css file is in YOURTEMPLATE.info, try to clear drupal cache, go to admin/settings/performance and clear cache.

Theme in WordPress

I'm trying to modify a theme in Wordpress, I'm using it in a local server, but when I modified the style page of the theme, I don't see the result in the page.
My question is if someone knows How to fix the problem or well, How to modify the theme, but with really changes.
Make sure that no caching plugin like WP super cache or WP Rocket is enabled. Finally, make sure the style.css file is writeable by the server with permission like chmod 755.
If the above does not help, you can use a custom CSS plugin (https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/) and add your CSS code using its interface (cleaner and less hassle for everyday users).

how to view and edit a wordpress php file locally (MAMP)

I am helping out creating a few wordpress templates. I've been sent over the basic content (wp-admin/wp-content/wp-includes folders and other wp-* files).
They've already created a new theme, and one front-page.php file. This file includes "parts" such as get_header and get_footer.
Essentially now they'd like me to create new templates using this theme, and php variables to make updating easier. My question is - how can I view this so I can see what i'm making?
I downloaded MAMP and set up a local server, and if I create a sample .php file in the htdocs folder, that page appears correctly. However when I paste the Wordpress folder that I was sent, nothing loads. Is there a special way to get a front-page.php including partials to load within a theme? Am I missing something obvious here?
You will have to Install WordPress completely in order to make it work. Then you will be able to add your folder in the "Themes" folder of WordPress..
You can Google "How to Install WordPress on Mamp" for more info... you will find plenty of websites helping you.
I also suggest you read a few blog post on how to create WordPress Themes... :)
Good luck

Disable wordpress css on subdirectory

Ok this is almost a repost except I know the cause. Ok So I have a site in a subdirectory under my www folder (which appears to simply be a link to the public_html folder.) Anyhow this site is not a wordpress site, even though the parent site is. My wp-admin wp-content and wp-includes directories are also in the same spot.
My problem is that the second site in the subdirectory is automatically using the wordpress css for some reason. I do not want it to do that. I have a css file for it, but it does not load it and uses the wordpress one instead.
Is there a way to correct this so that it only uses the css file I tell it to use?
The only way that this site will use the Wordpress CSS is if it somehow imports the Wordpress CSS. View the page source and try do discover from where the site is getting the Wordpress CSS. Make sure that you are not calling the tag anywhere. If you have managed to strip away the Wordpress CSS, then just reference the desired CSS as you would with a static HTML site. The fact that it is in the same directory as the Wordpress directories will not make a difference.
Ok I fixed this. I simply renamed the css file to something other than style.css In this case I name it santastyle.css as this site is meant to work as a secret santa website. This solved the problem.

Modifying custom Wordpress pages

Sorry if this question is too basic (It would be great if someone could recommend me on a good resource/tutorial for starting up with wordpress development)
I am new to wordpress development. And I work on a Mac.
I downloaded MAMP, installed wordpress, and installed a custom theme which I bought online.
So far, I've been using the wordpress wp-admin interface to customize the theme.
I created a new Page called "myPage". I'm interested in making some design changes to myPage but the wp-admin tool is limited and I realized I have to start looking/modifying the code.
I'm using Netbeans, and created a new project of my local wordpress folder which contains the wp-admin, wp-content, wp-include folders.
However, I am not sure where in the code to find the page I created "myPage", in order to modify it.
I ran a search on all the code but I don't find any mention of it.
I guess my custom page is saved elsewhere? in the database?
Thanks!
Drill down through wp-content > themes > to your theme's folder. Inside there you will find a file called page.php. That is your default page template. To double check this is the page being used, in your wordpress backend, edit the page and on the right hand side in the 'page attributes' panel, you will see a dropdown under 'Template'. You're purchased theme may have many templates, so that is how you can tell which one is being used.
Note: Creating a page inside of the wordpress backend does not actually create a new page file for that page.
Hope this helps.
Yea, you can find your page in DB, check out link for more info.
To access your database, you need to go to url http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/ if everything is set right; or your local IP/phpMyAdmin/ if host alias is not set.
EDITED
If you are looking for file, you should look in wpfolder/wp-content/themes/some-theme/ and now ether page.php or content-page.php I am not sure.

Magento CSS not Loading in New Template

I have posted on the template creator's site, as well as Magento support, but no one has responded.
The CSS is not loading at all on the custom theme I have installed, which is supposedly compatible with the current version of Magento.
You can view the page here: shop.dearearth.net
This is a fresh installation of Magento and the theme, with a fresh database.
I have a feeling it should be a relatively quick fix.
Thanks for looking.
All the links in your page referring to the
http://www.shop.dearearth.net/skin/frontend/base/
directory on your site returns 404. Make sure your css files are in fact in there. Also make sure your links aren't being broken by a .htaccess file.
Make sure your CSS is 777 rights by admin.
OR
Please copy the whole code from latest css and take it as a backup and create a new css file as same name and past the code.
Check in admin back-end, System > Configuration > General/Design if your theme is right specified. Also check if after you installed the new theme, the files have the proper rights (normally, they must be accessible by the web server with Write permissions)
For more info please also take a look at Magento Designers Guide for understanding of how Magento read and split template information. Maybe you have put the CSS and images in a wrong directory :)
Solved.. sort of. The version of the template turned out to be quite outdated, and the incompatible with the current version of Magento, which handles things differently in terms of calling styles in the page.xml file.
Thanks for your inputs.
