However, the logo always goes out of the grid. Mapbox and 'i' button actually spread full page width. I reckon there is a mapbox css I need to deeply reach to.
I can't use mapbox plugin, as the map will have javascript for user interaction. Any suggestions, please? Thanks.

Hello i'm working on a project that requires canvas manipulation. I need to draw an image and have to move it within the canvas. Which was not so hard to accomplish.. However i need to change my cursor into "move" when hovering the image like

I couldn't find any way to do this. Any suggestion??

When you drag an Kinetic.Image, you get dragstart and dragend events.
You can change the cursor type in those event handlers:
// starting to drag -- display the move cursor
image1.on('dragstart', function () {
document.body.style.cursor = 'move';

// done dragging -- display the regular cursor
image1.on('dragend', function () {
document.body.style.cursor = 'default';
});
Basically you need an element which you can style on the page but with display: none, then put that element onto the canvas like this:

We can use canvas for drawing custom shapes.
I need to draw my shape dynamically as a canvas item and place it for a div background item.
My pages generates run time and they aren't static html code so i can't use tricky methods.
What's your idea?

You can create a canvas and then get the contents as a png:
var canvas = document.createElement("canvas");
....do stuff here...
var img = Canvas2Image.convertToPNG(canvas, canvas.width, canvas.height);
Then all you need to do is use the png as a background image:
document.body.style.background = "url(" + img.src + ")";

I am trying to use Jcrop with preview pane in the page of changing avatar. However, after uploading new image file, when I call setImage to set the new image(with different width/height) and also set the attr of the preview image, the preview pane show up incorrectly. I use firebug the trace, it seems the img is still using the height, width of previous image. I modify the tutorial3 in the download package, simply adding a botton to change the image to see if the preview pane is correct or not. I seem to be the same error. Here below is the code for button click function.
Any solutions?

within the unminified version of the plugin "boundx and boundy" are declared as local variables that do not get updated outside of the setImage function. All you need to do is remove the 'var' for these two variables and make them global.

I would like to set the size of an infowindow to fit the content inside. The standard infowindow is too wide I tried to use maxWidth but it doesn't seem to work. What is the best way to resize an infowindow?

What you want to do is replace the "standard" Googlemaps infoWindow with your own, and put your content into it. Once you replace the standard GM infoWindow, you have a lot of latitude to work with. What I did is this:
Add a new style ID called #infoWindow, and set its width.

Outside of any functions within my Javascript, I create a new infoWindow:
var infoWindow = new google.maps.InfoWindow();
Create a new var within the function that sets the information displayed by the marker(s), and set its value to the content:
var html = '<div id="infoWindow">';
html += 'NY<br />total 60<br />2009: 10<br />2010: 20<br />2011: 30';
html +='</div>';
Call the createMarker function using the location information you would have created elsewhere, and include the html var as one of the arguments:

The createMarker function you would declare elsewhere, which would bring all of the information together, display the marker on your map, and display the information above when it's clicked on:

All you need to do is set the height and width of a container in the your info window content.
You don't need to override google classes and you don't need to get overly complicated about this.

In my css I have this:

}
That's it. That's all you need to do to set the width of a Google Maps InfoWindow.
For me this CSS works fine:

JFrancis answers is the right one, just don't forget to add "!important" in your CSS when you set the width! This might look like a minor thing, but if you don't do it, your CSS will simply get overwritten!
