I need to save the recently modified list into a text file.
How can I do this?
Thanks in advance,
Michele
waiting an answer a reached a quick solution!
I've modified the recently_modified template to show the complete list of items modified (changing the number of item to show). Copy & paste the items name in a txt file ... and the problem is solved!

I am using IBM DiffMerge to generate a Report that shows all differences between two .cls files or .sbs files. I was playing with it and I saw that there is a filed in option menu that allows you to change the format of the report, but it implies some keywords, like $elemname to print the element's name or $elemtype to print its type $leftonly or $rightonly which show how many differences are in the left diagram or in the right one.
Now, I was wondering if there are more variables like those above, especially one that can print a component's GUID (unique ID in Rhapsody).
Thanks,
Daniel
I would expect that $GUID will give you what you're looking for.
Under the ReporterPlus installation folder there is a folder named Templates. In it you'll find a file named DiffReport.dpl which you can load it into ReporterPlus for editing like any other template. You must run Rep+ with a command line option so that it loads with the Diffmerge specific schema:
Reporter.exe /mode=dfm
After that you can load the Diffmerge template, and edit it to customize the output of DiffMerge reports. When you do, try adding $GUID into the output.

My rmarkdown code produces a html document. This document lists out the process that needs to be followed by front line staff at month end. The process flow requires users to open xl files, update a few fields (such as report month etc) and then run macros.
I have used hyperlink to the original XL files as follows
[click to opel xl file](path/and/file names)
The above link opens the original file and the user is able to
overwrite the original file, I don’t want this to happen.
I want the hyperlink to generate a new file that would be downloaded
so that nothing happens to the original file. How to do this?
Please could you kindly help me out.
Thanks in advance
After extensive research, this can't be done using conventional rmarkdown!
I did some changes one of the method on accounting report in OpenERP. My problem now is how can i make some item invisible or delete? In particular, I want to hide the "Liability" and its balance on the report.
I tried something like this on get_lines method:
for report in lines:
if report["name"].lower().replace(" ","") == 'liability':
del report["name"]
del report["balance"]
but when i tried to generate Balance sheet report. It says:
(<type 'exceptions.KeyError'>,KeyError('name',), <traceback object at 0x7f6c4c2903f8>)
Any help is much appreciated.
This is an error that raises when you try to access object key that doesn't exist. In your case "name".
Error you have is "logical" error, simply go into debug and see what you get in report variable inside loop.
Moreover, to change report content (and by report I think you mean pdf output right?) you need to override .rml file. I think you are changing report parser here, which is also ok if you know what you are doing.
Here you can find RML documentation: http://www.reportlab.com/docs/rml2pdf-userguide.pdf
So, to sum: to change report output content override or replace parser, to change structure, hide/add fields override existing report (.rml file) or create entirely new report.
Hope it helped :)
This might not be the good (or perhaps the weirdest) solution to the problem but after reading about .rml and i can't still comprehend this is what i did. Instead of trying to delete report["name"] and report["balance"] i just set it's value into a white space. This time it's no longer shown on the report.
Is there a way to determine in advance how many pages are included in a multi page tif image with GraphicsMagick ?
I know I can select the first page in this way : image.tif[0], and probably iterating the array until the command fail will return the last image, but I don't think this is the best approach.
You can get a numbered list of the pages with
gm identify image.tif
and look at the last line, or count the lines. The images are numbered 0 thru N -1.
It is not too late to answer.
I think it is not possible to get the page count beforehand, not even with libtiff.
However, you can avoid the trial and error by using Magick::readImages:
// Magick++
std::vector<Magic::Image> images;
Magick::readImages(&images, "multipage.tif");
I am running a very simple exercise where I have a list of people's names that have been already reconciled via freebase, from within Open Refine.
The Github repository for Open Refine clearly indicates that fetching Properties against a reconciled Freebase Type is still a "To Do" project, but apparently, fetching text blurbs is possible..
Starting from your reconciled column, use "Add column from Freebase"
and use the "Add a property" field at the top to add
/common/topic/article. - using the new column, select "Add a column by
fetching a URL" and construct the URL as follows:
"http://api.freebase.com/api/trans/raw"+value - You'll end up with
another new column containing the text of all the blurbs
I don't have an option "Add column from Freebase".
Am I missing something? Thank you very much for your help.
That's presumably OpenRefine 2.6 beta since the production release isn't out yet [emphasis added].
If Add from Freebase is missing, something is wrong (ie it's a bug). Please file a bug report on GitHub with information on what operating system you're using. The documentation that you quoted is also out of date. Please also file a bug report for it with the location you found it.
Sorry about the problem! We'll have a look as soon as we've got the information from the bug report(s).
