Wordpress - HTML Entities are being Displayed - wordpress

I am currently developing a Wordpress site, and everytime a comment, page or article is added/retrieved, the HTML entites in the text are encoded, particulary single quotes/double quotes, like #089A.
Is there a setting or something that can be enabled/disabled that does this? I've tried the usual Google searches but alas I can't find anything.
Cheers,
MiG

Just to update this. I've been looking at the site today and it seems that the offending HTML entitiy is "&#8211"
The posts are being returned via AJAX in a JSON response and instead of seeing – I see "&#8211" plus the semi-colon.
Any reason for this?
Cheers,
MiG

How to get the XPATH or CSS selector from dynamically loaded website to follow links?

This is a dynamically-loaded website https://www.gelbeseiten.de/suche/hotels/n%c3%bcrnberg.
I'm trying to follow every link from the results. I found //article[#class='mod mod-Treffer']/a to follow the search result links. But the problem is this XPATH works only for a couple of links. For the rest of the others, I don't find any Selector. Because the other are using probably JS to make this action. I'm not familiar with this kind of dynamic website. So, I don't know how to get the selector from this kind of website. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
I will post this as an answer, without actually giving you the code, as it might help you more in the long term.
First, load that page in browser with javascript disabled (there are ways with disabling js in browser directly, or use an extension like ublock origin, etc - look it up).
You will notice that only the first 2 hotels are fully loading - the rest are being loaded dynamically by javascript (which in this case is disabled). There are 13 hits for //article[#class='mod mod-Treffer']/a selector, while there are more hotels on that page.
However, each hotel is wrapped in an <article> tag, and that tag has data-realid="[...]" attribute. The url for each hotel would be https://www.gelbeseiten.de/gsbiz/{data-realid}.
This is how you can get all those hotels' profile links.

creating blogroll by inoreader, feedly or similar ones

In Google reader(R.I.P) we could select some interesting links by a special tag and then make public them and show links on our blogs or websites.
Is there a way to create this by Google reader alternatives like Inoreader or Feedly or AOL reader or etc?
I should probably start by saying that I'm the BDFL of Inoreader, but I feel obliged to answer you. If anyone thinks my answer is inappropriate or that this can be achieved with one of the other mentioned options, feel free to bash me in the comments :)
Yes, you can do that in Inoreader.
Since you are familiar with Google Reader, you shouldn't have much difficulties starting up with it, but if you have, here's a quick guide to get you started.
Depending on what you need to achieve the option you want is accessible via right-click on a folder or a tag:
Then in the dialog that pops up, you will see an Export option. Click it and you will get 3 links - for RSS feed, HTML page (what you need) and a public OPML file (for folders only):
A few notes on folders and tags:
Folders are used to group sources (RSS, social and other feeds) and content inside them is automatically populated from the feeds.
Tags on the other hand are mostly manually populated by you. When you read an article and you find it interesting, you can press "T" or click the label icon at the bottom of article to tag it. This behavior is almost identical in all major RSS readers. Working with tags in Inoreader is covered in detail in this blog post.
Now I said mostly before, because tags can also be automatically populated by Inoreader's Rules. Basically they works like your email filter. You can set up keywords or other conditions and tag articles automatically as they arrive. This feature is covered in this blog post.
Hope this helps!

FB Like Button not working properly, counts multiple posts at one

My problem is that I was using a "Like button" plugin on wordpress and I didn't liked the looks of it. I deactivated the plugin and then tried with manual code of XFBML button. That screwed the count to some of the posts, having their counts all in one. I reverted the changes, using the plugin again, deleted the code added and the problem persists. Some of the posts have the "shared" count box. And when you "Like!" any of that posts, only the last one appears on Facebook.
It's it possible that this is a caché issue or something that is wrong in the code?
I tried reverting the meta tag "og:type" from "blog" to "website" but it didn't allowed me, can this be the problem?
Why do some of the posts share that countbox if the links are not the same?
And the wierdest thing, why only some of the posts have the issue while some are shared correctly?
As for an example, say post 1, 5 and 7 share the same countbox (+200). When you "like!" any of them, only the last of them (the most recent) gets to the FB wall.
This doesn't happen with the new posts, only with part of the old ones.
If the case, you can see it working: http://elrincondelacritica.com/
Thanks in advance.
By the way, if you need any piece of code just ask, this is not my page and I really need to fix this asap, also because it's online and running.
Thank you.
The FB debug tool shows that you didn't supply the fb:app_id > which seems to be crucial to render the news feed.
See: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Felrincondelacritica.com%2F
You can create a Facebook App here: http://developers.facebook.com/apps
Once you've done that you can add the fb:app_id by adding this into your header:
<meta property="fb:app_id" content="000yourAPID000"/>
Thanks mate for the share. Next time I make a website I'll make sure to create an APP too.
And by the way, the error was because of the meta tag og:type changed from website to article. What I did was to leave it to article (not trying to change it "forcing" og:type - website) and placing each "bad" post in the FB Debugger. There were 30 or so... but it worked, and now the new posts work too, with zero count from the start and incrementing correctly, each in particular.

Facebook comments: CSS doesn't work

I'm developing a website and I decided to use Facebook comments to provide commentable behaviour. But, unfortunately, I met some problems.
While trying to customize look of news page, ex. http://buchman.pcspace.pl/aktualnosci/ept-snowfest-podsumowanie-czwartego-dnia.html, I am not able to apply CSS to view: everything appears correctly in HTML source, but doesn't change view.
What's wrong?
According to this blog post the new fb:comments no longer supports custom CSS.
After log research I noticed that while loading fb frame, it doesn't use css given as param.
It causes all parts don't work..

A CSS code Or Any code to put text (saved in other server) into blogspot blog..?

I have a blog in blogspot.
Step (1). Whenever any visitor visit my blogspot blog through Google, the search search string is tracked through a javascript and the search string is saved in another server (say serverX)
Step (2). Now, when another visitor (human/Google Bot/Any downloader/etc..) visits my blog, he/she should be able to see the search string (Saved in ServerX) in my blog (anywhere, be it content or at the bottom of the blog....it doesn't matter)
Well, I can code the javascript and can also write a php code to save the search string...
but i've absolutely NO idea how to do the step (2)
Please tell me how to do Step 2...
Thanking you in anticipation.
I don't think blogspot gives you the ability to edit any of the server-side template files, does it? If so, then it's impossible to do this.
If you really need this feature, you would probably need to use WordPress (an installation on your own server, not the WordPress.com service, as then you would be in the same exact situation as you are with blogspot right now).
