In gigya wordpress plugin how i can use facebook like button - wordpress

I am using wordpress 3.0 and gigya plugin for connecting facebook.I want to add like button in my wordpress pages. So how i can add fb like button?

You don't need to use any WP plugin for adding a facebook like button - you can generate the button code on the Facebook site and then insert it into your template.
http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like
From looking around it seems that Gigya were going to implement a widget back in May that did this from within their plugin, but it seems that they've forgotten all about the idea now.

How to create such buttons with Wordpress?

I'm very new to WordPress (tbh, it's my first time working with it). And I need to make a website as my school project using CMS. Creating pages with templates is alright, but I have a lot of troubles with buttons. I found this website, and I can see it using WordPress. I need such buttons as on this page https://movie-chooser.co.ua/random-movie-2/ (they appear when you hover over the image). Is this a default option for buttons in WordPress? If not, is there a plugin for this or what is the way to add them on my images?
First Install Elementor plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/elementor/
and go to page when you add button and open page with elementor
and do drag and drop any element like button, space, text editor etc.
You have several ways to achieve that:
Overwritting Wordpress CSS
Using a plugin
Create your own shortcode
1 - Overwriting Wordpress CSS
If you manage to display all the elements using wordpress template, and your only issue is to display buttons over the images, then it should only be a matter of CSS
2 - Using a plugin
The idea here is to find a plugin that help you to create/display the informations you need (maybe you'll need to add functionnality to basic post though custom fields or using a custom post type).
Once you find the right plugin, again if the plugin dosen't directly offert some settings on the design then you'll have to overwrite the plugin's CSS rules to display the elements as you want.
3 - Create your own shortcode
If you're new to Wordpress I wouldn't recommend this method as it is kind of advanced, unless you're comfortable with PHP/HTML/CSS (optionaly JS).
This is the more flexible solution as you can basically control anything, but it will require you to understand some core concepts of Wordpress like WP Query and how custom queries works.
The idea here is to create a shortcode.
THis shortcode refere to a custom made PHP function, in which you can create a custom request to fetch the informations you need to display from Wordpress database, and display it in an HTML structure that you decide.
THen angain, you'll just have to customize it though CSS.
Note : no need to create a whole plugin if you decide to create a shortcode, you can use the template functions.php file for that.

Free, editable calendar for Wordpress site that using Elementor?

I am updating a website that was built (not by me) in Wordpress using Elementor. I'm trying to add a calendar that can list basic events and provide links to them. I found the plugin called "Wordpress Calendar" and have been able to add one of those to the draft of the site, but whenever I right-click on the calendar and choose "edit calendar," a bar pops up on the left hand side of the screen telling me about "user restrictions." So I can't actually add any events to the calendar. I think I have full access to edit the site. Is there a way to bypass Elementor and create the calendar in Wordpress code?
Is there a free way to add an editable calendar? I see this but I'm not sure how to integrate it into the Elementor site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
Sorry, I'm new to WP.
You can use this solution:
1- Install that plugin you have found https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
2- Visit this page https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/embedding-calendar-views-with-the-tribe_events-shortcode/ and get the shortcode you need. The shortcode will display the calendar you want on any page you place the shortcode in.
3- Insert the shortcode within Elementor builder: just add a new "Shortcode" element and insert the shortcode you need into it.
Note: the calendar can only be edited by you in the backend.

How to create a frontend comment edit form without a plugin on wordpress?

I use the tinymce editor for creating comments and I need to make it available to users outside of the admin zone.
How do you do that without a plugin ?
I've tried every available plugin but they either don't work without breaking the javascript (ajax) or do not work at all.Thank you.
Edit : I installed the "Ajaxed Comments" plugin and got it to work by having it reload the whole page after the content has been submitted.
I am now trying to implement the wp_editor function either with jquery or PHP, without any success so far.

Custom page in Wordpress plugin

I am creating simple plugin, and I prepared few pages: add.php, edit.php, delete.php and list.php. I've used add_menu_page and add_submenu_page - so I understand why they are visible in admin menu. How to create page (or custom URL with parameter) without putting this into menu? I'd like to add link to edit page and delete url (code executed by plugin) on listing page - something like in posts listing page but can't find function to achieve this.
Here are two possible solutions for this questions:
How do you add a WordPress admin page without adding it to the menu?
Personally i havent tried it but it like the one where you remove the item from the menu after you set things up like normal.
There is also a great plugin called the WP Router that can help you setup totally unique urls with the callback you desire.

How to use custom button for Google Friend Connect API login button?

I am using Google Friend Connect API to login to my site. And using the default function google.friendconnect.renderSignInButton(params) to render the sign in button. Can I use my own custom button to log into my site or can I customize the button to sync in with the website design. Because the customization option provided in http://code.google.com/apis/friendconnect/docs/gfc_buttons.html are not helpful as I need a completely different looking button than these.
I have a post on my blog which will help you create or have the GFC widget back on your blog or website. the post is on How to add Google friend connect on blogger , in this tutorial are the two ways on which you can add the GFC widget.
