Longitude and latitude value from IP address - asp.net

Is it possible to get the longitude and latitude value from IP address in asp.net?
If it is possible, please let me know how can I get this.

MaxMind Geolite city is free. If it is not good enough, you can apparently upgrade to a more accurate paid-version. I can't speak for the quality of the paid version, as I have never used it.
If you like your SQL, download the CSV version. Load it into your database of choice, and query away.
The faster and space-efficient option is to download the file binary blob version of the same database, and then use the C# class to query it.
Alternatively, I have found ipinfodb.com to be useful. Query is by simple HTTP GET. For example, to geolocate stackoverflow.com try:

This will return an XML file containing latitude and longitude, that looks like:

You can use a service such as:
http://freegeoip.appspot.com/
It will not be completely accurate.
Here is a tutorial on consuming the service using ASP.Net.

Try IPInfoDB which, as far as I know, is free.
They provide downloadable databases, but the easiest solution seems to be the XML api. Examples provided are for php, but I'm sure it's equally accessible with ASP.Net.

If you are trying to access your location via a javascript client, then the geo location API available with HTML 5 is very very helpful.

How can I get the input value of a text field that has been created with airtable in wordpress?

I am trying to make some further adjustments to an address text field. But the problem is that its made with airtable. I want to get the input of that address and use it to get some data from zillow API for the user. How can I do this? I have viewed the source HTML and I only see the airtable script.
This probably went unanswered for being too vague. I'll try to leave some pointers if anyone stumbles upon this in the future.
Are you the host of the WP page? do you have access to the Airtable base in question? Is the "frontend" viewable? Airtable's API is pretty well-documented, simple as it may be. Whatever you need, if it's from a shared view, it can be fetched with a curl request.
Other than that,if the base is public, or shared publicly, and particularly if you need this data at a steady rate or in larger quantities, you'd be better off requesting access and collecting the information with a script from the Scripting app. Since ES6, this is as trivial as doing something like

LocustIO: How to do batch request

I started to use LocustIO for load testing a 3rd party API which provides a way to do batch requests (http://docs.oasis-open.org/odata/odata/v4.01/odata-v4.01-part1-protocol.html#sec_BatchRequests).
How can this be done using LocustIO?
I tried with the following:

Auth is something I need to have authentication to the API, but that's not the point of the question and "putyoururlhere" should be replaced with the actual url. Either way, it gives errors when executing the test, so I must be doing something wrong.

The data parameter should be your POST body (only), you cant put additional headers in it the way you did. You probably just want to add them as additional entries in the dict you pass as headers

Geocoding addresses with googleway: incoherent results

I am trying to geocode addresses on Google Maps using the google_geocode function from the package googleway in R. I am using a key obtained from Google that allows me to go over the 2500/day limit (and being charged for that). I have different types of problems, mainly due to the way the addresses I use are written, but there is one issue that I would like to ask here: how is it possible that I sometimes get no results querying with googe_geocode, but if I type the same address string on http://www.google.com/maps/ it does return a result?
My example:
address="AVENDAÑO, 30-32 VITORIA-GASTEIZ 01008, ES"
# the address I want to geocode. Its format is "street, number, city postcode, country" in a single string.

Note that Google knows this street as 'ABENDAÑO, 30-32 VITORIA-GASTEIZ 01008, ES', so the B and V letters are important. I know that in Spanish language this is the same sound, but probably Google expects exact match.

On the Correos.es I can see that the official street name is ABENDAÑO as shown in the following screenshot
So just use the following request to get results:

I think it is likely that is due to encoding issues. I have had this happen when trying to geolocate addresses with "Ñ". Doing this worked for me:

google_geocode(string, key = key)
Since google changed their pricing scheme now you need to have an API key.

Using cfs:http-publish

I'm trying to use the cfs:http-publish package at https://github.com/CollectionFS/Meteor-http-publish. While I've got the GET - /api/list functionality working, I don't know how to obtain a single document:
(GET - /api/list/:id - find one published document).
Can someone provide a curl example of this, assuming a certain collection of objections.
eg: {a:3, b:2}, {a:4, b:3}, and requiring to obtain the object with {a:3}.

Most efficient method of pulling in weather data for multiple locations

I'm working on a meteor mobile app that displays information about local places of interest and one of the things that I want to show is the weather in each location. I've currently got my locations stored with latlng coordinates and they're searchable by radius. I'd like to use the openweathermap api to pull in some useful 'current conditions' information so that when a user looks at an entry they can see basic weather data. Ideally I'd like to limit the number of outgoing requests to keep the pages snappy (and API requests down)
I'm wondering if I can create a server collection of weather data that I update regularly, server-side (hourly?) that my clients then query (perhaps using a mongo $near lookup?) - that way all of my data is being handled within meteor, rather than each client going out to grab the latest data from the API. I don't want to have to iterate through all of the locations in my list and do a separate call out to the api for each as I have approx. 400 locations(!). I'm afraid I'm new to API requests (and meteor itself) so apologies if this is a poorly phrased question.
I'm not entirely sure if this is doable, or if it's even the best approach - any advice (and links to any useful code snippets!) would be greatly appreciated!

OK I haven't managed to get this working yet but I some more useful details on the data!
If I make a request to the openweather API I can get data back for all of their locations (which I would like to add/update to a collection). I could then do regular lookup, instead of making a client request straight out to them every time a user looks at a location. The JSON data looks like this:

Ideally I'd like to build my own local 'weather' collection that I can search using mongo's $near (to keep outbound requests down, and speed up), but I don't know if this will be possible because the format that the data comes back in - I think I'd need to structure my location data like this in order to use a geo search:

Yes easily possible. Because your question is so large I'll give you a high level explanation of what I think you need to do.
You need to create a collection where you're gonna save the weather data in.
A request worker that requests new data and updates the collection on a set interval. Use something like cron-tick for scheduling the interval.
Requesting data should only happen server side and I can recommend the request npm package for that.
Meteor.publish the weather collection and have the client subscribe to that, with optionally a filter for it's location.
You should now be getting the weather data on your client and should be able to get freaky with it.
