PushViewController after presentModalViewController like in Apples Alarm Clock app - uinavigationcontroller

my Question is quite simple.
I have an add-button. When I tap on it --> presentmodelviewController presents a UIViewController, which contains a simple Table with cells.
When I tap on a Cell, i want to display a new View using pushViewController, which automatically creates a "back Button".
At the top of it in this new View i have a Textfield, where I can enter some Text.
When I tap the back-button, the view slides back to the add-View (which was presented using modalView...).
Now i want the text edited in the view before to be placed in the Label of the first row (cell) on which I tapped.
So I want to do this for 5 cells. Each of them presenting another xib.
Please, can anyone help?
Thanks for your helpful replies.

You should first present a modalviewcontroller that has a navigationcontroller within. Within this view, you can now push other view controllers.

How to do a context dependant layout in Qt Designer and PyQt5?

I have a group box or the like containing a combobox and some more widgets that shall not all be visible at the same time. Depending on the selection I want at the same place to be displayed a button or a line edit or a (second) combobox. So if combobox entry one is selected it shows the button, if entry two is selected it shows the line edit, if entry three is selected it shows the second combobox, while not showing the other two.
I know that I can do it all dynamically but this results in a lot of code lines. I want to use QT Designer and a grid layout and I can't see how to put two widgets at the same place and then make only one visible programmatically.
I hope I could explain properly.
I played with Qt Designer but could not place two widgets over one another in a grid layout.
Thanks for any help.
Thank you G.M.
Yes, I was looking for QStackedWidget. I wasn't aware of this at all. I tried it and it works easily out of the box.

Open Additional Fragment

Is there a way to open a second Fragment Page? (ie. open multiple fragment pages at the same time)
I have a database setup and when users click a button a Fragment Page pops up so they can edit the fields. I would like to try and have a sub-menu appear for comments (so they don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen).
Something like the Menu in the Material Gallery Sample would be great.
Note:
I am currently using app.showDialog(app.pageFragments.Menu); to open the Page Fragments.
Having both Fragments open side by side would be a usable options as well.
Thanks!
Here is an example diagram.
Sorry for the late reply. I'll put this as an answer because I think it will get you what you need. You could implement this if you put the page fragments directly into your page, and toggled their visible property to show/hide them.
The biggest trick here is how does the first page fragment tell the second to open? That ends up being simple, just add a custom boolean property to the first fragment. Then in the base page (which contains the two fragments) bind the visible property of the second fragment to the custom property of the first fragment. Then in the first fragment, you can set that property to "true" when you want the second fragment to show, and "false" when you want it to hide.

Navigating between views in flex

I am trying to develop a mobile application using flex. Whenever I use 'navigator.popView()' to go back to the last view that was shown, it loads a new view on to the screen, instead of using the old one itself.
On the first screen, I have a TextInput into which I enter some text, when I push next and then push back the TextInput is empty. I want to retain the text in the TextInput.
It is advisable not to keep views in memory by default, so discarding old views and creating new ones is really the desired behavior. You should bind the content of your TextInput to a variable and store and retrieve only its text value.

Qt:creating a dynamic button

I want to create an application in which i will create a button and by pressing that button as list of options will open and i can choose one of them.for example i will create a button named "searching algorithm" and by clicking this button a list will open at same place which display two options as linear search and binary search.can anyone give me an idea how to do that?
You want a QComboBox:
The QComboBox widget is a combined button and popup list.
I believe what you need is a popup window where you can have list of options, whenever your button is clicked show this window, hide it when user selects an item in the list or clicks outside of the working area. There is an example you can use as a reference:
QT 4.7 Google Suggest Example
hope this helps,

Using the Tab key to navigate form inputs

I am having some problems with tabbing within my asp.net pages. This project was developed with Visual Studio 2008.
Case 1
I have two html tables. The first table has two rows; the second table has four rows. Within the cells are of each table are asp.net fields, text boxes and radio button lists. I set focus to the first field of table one. I then press the tab key multiple times. The focus moves through the field of table one and then through the fields in the first row of the table two. Then instead of goes to the second row of the table two it return to the table one.
But if I set focus to the last cell on the first row of table two, it tabs through the remaining cells of table two properly. Can you tell me how to get the tabbing to behave properly and go to the cells in there natural order? Note that I am setting the tab index property in the order that I want.
Case 2
On another page I have an html table with a single row followed by a gridview control. The gridview control is writeable and has the following columns: Check Box, Radio Button List, Text Box, Text Box, Text Box and a Check Box List. If I click on one of Check Box, Radio Button List or Check Box List., then press tab, the cursor pops out of the grid and sets focus on the first field of the table outside the grid. But if I set focus on one of the text boxes and tab; then the tab goes through the fields of the grid left to right one row at a time. This later behavior is what I want in both cases. I don’t know why my cursor pops out of the grid when I start with a field other than a text box.
Please help if you can.

funny, you explain in details your case but you didn't explain what it needs to be explained in order to someone can understand you :)
first of all, is table1 located in the first tab and table2 in second tab?
what do you used for tabs: asp.net tab control, jquery ui tabs...?
what do you mean by 'press the tab key multiple times'? same tab? do you have postback on tab click? what is the focus in your case, and so on and on...
cheers
Have you checked the order of the input elements in your HTML? Generally the tab order follows the order of controls.
If that all looks right, then make sure nothing is setting the TabIndex property - as this will also mess up the tab order.
I pretty much resolve this and I wanted to add the answer for anyone who viewed this thread. The problem was the autpostback on certain fields. Once I disabled autopostback, the problems went away.

You need to use Javascript and I referred for your a very good example of navigating through Gridview rows with Up/Down keys.
