Im using Visual Studio 2008, on an ASP.NET C# website. Overall what I want to accomplish is that when an item from a list of items is clicked, a video will display on the same page. I want this done all in one aspx page, I dont want to create a new page for each video file. The video files are hosted for me on www.screencast.com.
What I have done is created data-bounded radio list, and a datagrid which is binded to whatever is selected from my radio list. So when an item from that radio list is clicked, the video will diplay on the page, along with a description of the video and other important info.
What i have dome so far does not display my videos. Thats why I am here. I need to know how I can replace one of the fields from my data grid with an embedded web object.
What path do you guys recommend I take to acomplish my goal?

With JoeRage's suggestion to use Shadowbox.js, Im going to have on my datagrid a simple link that when clicked, a video will display. My problem is how do I make my hyperlinks get formatted with the following info:

I know that on a datagrid, i can add a hypertextFeild. Problem is that even if I use the DataTextDormatString?

I have form in getcmsfields_forpopup for backend(admin panel) in silverstrip. In that form, I have added nested dataobjectmanager field to enter multiple dates(has_many relation). When main form open in popup window and I click on add date link, then second popup form open in the same window not in separate one. That means after entering date data and saving it, when I click on close button, whole form is closed rather going back to main form. Please help in this regard.
This can't be done using SilverStripe's default popup form unless, maybe, you extended the DataObject Manager field and had it render itself in an iFrame.
The best option would be to manage your parent DataObjects with DataObjectManger as well. DataObjectManager supports nested DataObjectManager fields. See this tutorial "Nested DataObjectManager" (on YouTube).
If you're able, can I suggest that you try out SilverStripe 3.0? The support for this kind of thing is much better in SilverStripe 3.0 than it is in 2.4.
Hello on page load we get two buttons while clicking on 1st button one grid view and while clicking on 2nd grid view,2grid views put in 2 DIV's.there is lot of records so need paging requirement and have to convert each page in to Document or pdf by exporting my code

I would like to show my table data in grid. The table has more than 50 columns. By default they are displayed fine but I need a way to hide/show columns which are not required on screen.
So is there any way to achieve this? I think right clicking on the header should show all headers in a list box, allowing selection of which columns we want, then refresh the grid.
Please let me know if Telerik supports this and, if so, how?
No builtin feature available and this is one of many reasons why we are still thinking about other grids instead of telerik.
In the demo site there is a page where they show all the column names with checkboxes on top of the grid and you can check/uncheck to show/hide columns. see that sample source code, is simple to implement but still is custom code to add manually. I love the devexpress grid with customization popup and columns dragdrop from there but nothing like that for us in Telerik :-(
I'm using a modal PopupEditForm to edit rows in my ASPxGridView.
There is an image and upload control inside this form. The old image is being loaded to this ASPxImage for preview and user can upload a new image. But when user does it, even though I change the url of image to new uploaded image url, new image doesn't appear. But if I update the row, it updates the url and shows the new image next time I click to update row.
So there's a problem like PopupEditForm is not being called again. How can I solve this?

Then If you can't solve your problem, and you have Devexpress licence, you should ask it in Devexpress Support

I have list of object that I want each item to be rendered with some renderer that include a delete and edit buttons with some text.
What is the best way to make the list of object re-order-able in drag/drop fashion so the user can drag on item on top of another to change the order of the list.
Basically, just use a List, or DataGrid, with an itemRenderer that displays the buttons. Look into the DragEnabled, DragMoveEnabled, and DropEnabled properties for the click and drag sorting.
Look into using itemEditors for the edit functionality.
