I need to use Anaconda Navigator. I installed 1 year ago and it worked. Nevertheless when i try to open it now it opens and closes twice the anaconda3/Script prompt and doesnt open the Anaconda Navigator. I have asked to many people, and i have searched a lot in internet, but i haven't founded a solution. If you need more information ask me i tell you what you ask

I am trying to create an shiny app for people that are not R users (they even may be frightened :D).
After the question about server/local app here (How to import remote csv file on a deployed shiny app?), I try to use the shinyShortcut package solution.
I did the following:

So I have all that is normally required (at least that is what I think).
Since I never used the .desktop before, I ran the instruction here.
I put the .desktop on my desktop
Right click and change setting the tutorial did
I allow again from a right click and the .desktop disappears. Everything seemed ok.
However, when I double-clicked on the icon, nothing happened...
I tried to change the web browser or the application to launch it, nothing works.
What did I misunderstand ?

I have a new archlinux installation and got rstudio-desktop-bin from AUR, as the project site says to. However, I get a blank screen (as below) when trying to open it. When using
sudo /usr/bin/rstudio-bin
It opens normally. I tried to reset rstudio from this tutorial

and in this question, the problem was solved changing file permission. Both did not work for me.
What could I do?
Rstudio when opening normally:
I found a suggestion that an update to electron may have caused an issue in the RStudio community forums. By disabling sandboxing, they were able to start RStudio as a user and it worked for me:
/usr/bin/rstudio-bin --no-sandbox
To make more permanent until the problem is resolved you can add a line to your .bashrc (or equivalent in another shell):
export RSTUDIO_CHROMIUM_ARGUMENTS="--no-sandbox"
There is also a suggestion in there about building from a weekly source instead. But this was easier for me so I can't vouch for it.
Error when saving Rscripts

Hi guys,
Have been stuck on this problem for the past year or so and would really appreciate any help. I am unable to save any Rscripts in Rstudio, as I keep getting the first error above. The one exception is, when running Rstudio with administrative permissions, - when saving into C:/Users, which is apparently the default working directory. I am also able to open Rscripts from C:/Users, but not from anywhere else. When I change my working directory using setwd(), Rstudio accepts the change but I am unable to save or open files in the new directory (or anywhere else).
I have tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling Rstudio and R, as well as adding the folder R and Rstudio are in, and my desired working directory folder into the 'PATH' variable in windows (through 'edit the system environmental variables'). But nothing seems to be working. Have also searched online pretty extensively but haven't managed to find a working solution so far.
I am using the latest 2021.09.1 Build 372 of Rstudio, and R 4.0.4. However, I have also faced the same problem on the last few versions of Rstudio and R over the past year as I have tried to update hoping that it would fix the problem but to no avail. I downloaded R and Rstudio from CRAN and the Rstudio website respectively.

This exact thing happened to me. It turned out for me that when I updated my Window's environment variables, I added an extra slash for my HOME variable. This screwed things up with RStudio.
Search for "Edit the system environment variables" after pressing the Windows button and edit the HOME variable to make sure there is no trailing slash.

Why is this happening and how can i change it?
I already tried to install and uninstall jupyter in different ways (anaconda, pip etc.) but it still won't work.
It appears that jupyter before creating a new notebook doesn't have that problem...
The menu labels and dropdown options are english, but as soon as i open some settings, they're all russian.

I am a novice in the use of Python and I am using PandasBiogeme to estimate discrete choice models.
My issue is related to the Jupyter notebook. Usually when I wish to use it, I select it from the start menu of Windows 7 and automatically a new tab opens up in Chrome.
Yesterday, actually by not knowing exactly why, I logged out from Jupyter notebook and today when I launched it from the start menu the following error message appeared:
I thus decided to reinstall Anaconda, and PandasBiogeme and to update both of them.
Now when I wish to open Jupyter notebook from the start menu a prompt menu appears and suddenly disappears. Therefore I need to open the Anaconda Powershell and type
jupyter notebook
Yet, when I do this I receive the same error message I reported above
I typed in the second URL and I was then able to work again.
Yet, when I close Jupyter notebook and try to launch it again the same problem arises and I have to insert again 'a' token. I wrote 'a' token, because if I select by chance the token reported at the following URL (which has nothing to do with my work)

and then Jupyter notebook works and I can carry out my estimation.
I read different posts on the possibility to set a password to avoid problems related to tokens, but only the first time I inserted the token I had the option to insert a password in in a html page, but I decided not to do it. Now I believe it could be the case.
This is something that happened overnight, without, I believe, my doing anything specifically.
This issue is driving me crazy and I would be thankful if any of you had a potential suggestion.
