ISSUE
Firebase SMS authentication is delayed or sometimes not received
QUESTION
I want to know what would be the cause of such issue.
Tried to receive authentication to available phones and we receive the authentication.
Not all of the users experience the issue, but only for some.
Specific location: Adelaide, Glenelg South Australia
Date encountered: December 08, 2022

I've made an app with Flutter Firebase and released to Google playstore about 2 months ago and till today, the verification SMS sent to user's phone isn't picking up the app name from the playstore. The SMS received is given as example below
111111 is your verification code for myproject465.firebaseapp.com
Another user got responded by firebase support [here][1] stating that the %APP_NAME% will be automatically used after release(small delay may occur) but it's been more than a month and still not picking up the app name.
I've contacted firebase support but as I'm unable to opt in for a paid tech support, they can't help me further. Hope someone here can help me out
UPDATED: Enabling Safety net in the project fixed the issue for me( auth domain update not done)

I am testing Firebase SMS authentication on my android app on release mode. So, after few succesful authentications, I started getting the error:
we have blocked all requests from this device due to unusual activity. Try again later
I deleted the affected user but still not working. Then, I contacted Firebase support and that's what they said:
There's a limit of 5 SMS per phone number per 4 hour
Now I am struggling how to test my app before making it live for real users.
I need to test receiving SMS instead of using whitelisted phone numbers. The reason is that I have a bug on release mode which requires many testings to be fixed. Please I need some help!
I make web app for restaurants. when client in restaurant on web page selects dishes, he clicks "order", and waiter will receive a push notificarion on his phone via fcm for web. Will waiter receive all notifications through fcm for web? I need them to be delivered in 2 minutes maximum, can firebase fulfill my requirements? Thank you
Realistically, most messages will be delivered in under a few seconds, assuming the target device is active and has a good network connection. In practice, there is no way to ensure the timing of the delivery of a message, as the network could be poor or missing, and the device could be in a battery-saving state the delays receipt. If you want to increase the chances of the message getting to the device, use a high priority notification, as described in the documentation.
In order to troubleshoot notifications delivery we used FCM diagnostics as recommended at:
https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/2663268?hl=en
But now I see:
FCM diagnostics page to be removed
From Nov 20 2017, the FCM diagnostics page will be removed along with any historical data. However, you can continue to access other Firebase Cloud Messaging features on the Play Console.
What is an alternative to track delivery problem per message_id? I can't believe they would like to troubleshoot our issue in support tickets...
I've read Microsoft documentation about Push Notification Service that they are offering for Windows phones but there is no information about pricing. I've read somewhere that it is free to use max 500 notification per day/per application/per device and it is unauthenticated mode but there is also authenticated mode which has no daily limit and cost some money. Is that true and if it is, how much is price?
Also I am interested in information about saving messages in server if user is not active in time of sending. How much push messages can Microsoft Push Service save for one device/user before starts to discard it?
It is free, authenticated or not.
Not sure if they actually store messages on the server to be delivered. When you send one they will give you the clients connection status as part of the response.
