I want to capture an Image and a Video using the CameraX library. By following the documentation i have no problem implementing the preview and the capture use cases. The code i use is the following.

Now, let's say that i have locked my device orientation from the menu panel. So if i rotate de device, the applications do not rotate at all. In that case, if a capture an Image, the captured image which i save and i want to send to a Server is rotated by 90 degrees,, which is reasonable since i rotated the device and capture a photo.
As i can see, in other applications (like Whatsapp) the same senario does not happen since they show the preview image correctly rotated after the capture. How can i solve that issue?

I have profile photo of users stored in Firebase and I want to know how I can create a marker with the user's profile photo with an orange border.
I tried some code from the internet and it works but the measurements seem to be wrong and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I didn't really understand how to perfectly fit the bitmap image inside the placeholder. My marker looked like this:
also the image wasn't being center cropped even though I mentioned that it should be in the code, where it says Glide.centerCrop()
Also, I'm using GeoFire to display markers of users in a specified radius of the user and for now I can display a simple marker but I want the marker to have that user's profile photo too! How can I do it?

Using PencilKit for iOS, how do I set the eraser tool to .bitmap for PKToolPicker?
I can't find any setting for PKToolPicker. Trying to use PKCanvasView to observe and set the tool's eraserType as .bitmap also does not work.

The PKEraser is a struct, so when you change its eraserType, you're actually modifying a copy of the tool that's being used in the canvas.
What you need to do is simply set the PKCanvasView tool property and it will work.

To set the toolpicker's selected tool as a bitmap eraser (where toolPicker is the PKToolPicker):

To set the canvas view's tool to a bitmap eraser (where canvasView is the PKCanvasView):

This code, based on your example, will keep the toolpicker's erase tool as bitmap(pixel eraser) even if vector(object eraser) was chosen. (tested on iOS 14)

I am developing a game in Haxe with the HaxeFlixel Framework.
I decided to split the map in chunks so i can load new areas of the map at runtime (without loading screen). For that i put every chunk in an instance of FlxTilemap.
Now I noticed that, when i try to move a FlxTilemap (by changing its x and y properties) the collision detection (with FlxG.collide(hero, map)) does not work right.
To test why the collision detection doesn't work, I simply added a FlxTilemap to the scene and collided it with my hero:

There seems to be a problem in the HaxeFlixel collision detection.
The collision will only be detected when the x and y properties of the FlxObjects are positive.
I want to have negative x/y positions as well.
Does anyone know a fix or workaround for this problem?
Try changing the bounds of your world space. Specifically, FlxG.worldBounds.
Bit of a strange question and I don't know whether anyone will have come across this one before.
We have a ASP.net page generating physical thumbnail jpeg files on a filesystem and copying fullsize images to a different location. So we input one image and we get a complete copy in one location and a small image 102*68 in a different location.
We're currently looking to finally move away from IIS6 on Server 2003 to IIS7.5 on Server 2008R2, except there's on problem.
On the old system (so IIS6/Server 2003) the black borders are removed and the image stays at the correct ration. On the new system (IIS7.5/Server 2008) the thumbnails are rendered exactly as they exist in the JPEG, with black borders, but this makes the thumbnail slightly squashed and obviously includes ugly black borders.
Anyone know why this might be happening? I've done a google and can't seem to find out which behaviour is "correct". My gut tells me that the new system is correctly rendering the thumbnail as it exists, but I don't know.
Anyone have any suggestions how to solve the problem?
I think as suggested it is the .net differences. not IIS.
Just re write your code, your save a lot of time, very simple thing to do.

I have an application in Flex 4 with a map, a database of points and a search tool.
When the user types something and does the search it returns name, details and coordinates of the objects in my database.
I have a function that, when i click one of the results of my search, it zooms the selected point of the map.
The question is, i want a function that zooms all the result points at once. For example if i search "tall trees" and it returns 10 points, i want that the map zooms to a position where i can see the 10 points at once.
Below is the code im using to zoom one point at a time, i thought flex would have some kind of function "zoom to group of points", but i cant find anything like this.

See the GraphicUtil class from com.esri.ags.Utils package. You can use the method "getGraphicsExtent" to generate an extent from an array of Graphics. You then use the extent to set the zoom factor of your map :

In this case, it would zoom to the full content of your graphics layer. You can always create an array containing only the features you want to zoom to. If you find that the zoom is too close to your data, you can also use map.zoomOut() after setting the extent.
Note: Be careful if you'Ve got TextSymbols in your graphics, it will break the GraphicUtil. In this case you need to filter out the Graphics with TextSymbols
