Firestore : Error loading documents. How to resolve error? - firebase

My application under ionic angular has been in production for several years, it suddenly stopped working and I get this error on firestore.
I can't add any document manually anymore. The other services (storage / authentication) work.
I should point out that this is not a device or browser error, I have already tried to change it. Moreover, the application no longer works, so it's not just a display bug.
I am on a "Pay as you go" plan with firebase. I have set a limit of 50€ which is far from being reached (0.14€ used)
The number of reads exceeded the 50k free limit yesterday (64k) but it shouldn't be a problem, besides everything was working fine this morning. It has not been exceeded today.
I have sent a message to firebase support. I am waiting for them to respond.
Do you know how I can solve this problem please?

Firebase Response:
Right now we're experiencing issues in which users may be unable to
access their database or see their collections in the Firebase
Console. We are already investigating further and working to solve it.
An apology for the inconvenience.

The bug is tracked here : https://status.cloud.google.com/incidents/fmEL9i2fArADKawkZAa2 and seems bo te related to europe-west2

403/405 status code Firebase Dynamic Link

I'm using Firebase Dynamic Link to redirect the users into our app and using the Google-provided domains (https://example.page.link) for the URL prefix. The link works fine for most people but sometimes some users might encountered with these issues:
Does anyone know what might cause this issue? I'm not sure how to reproduce these issues. Sometimes it will works after the user retry for multiple attempts.
Ps: It's a Flutter app. I've contacted Firebase support and they asked for minimal repro which I'm not sure how to create because it rarely happens but quite frequent. 😅
Possible Reason For this :
How many dynamic links can be created in firebase?
The quota is listed in the Dynamic Links documentation: Requests are
limited to 50 queries per second 5 requests/IP address/second, and
100,000 200,000 queries per day. If exceeded, then the response will
return HTTP error code 429/403/405.

BT Web Protect blocking firebase storage urls

At some point yesterday (25/08/21) we started getting errors accessing any documents held in firebase storage.
I can see them in the firebase console, but if I try to view them I get an error.
The exact error depends on which browser but it was along the lines of:
This site can’t provide a secure connection
firebasestorage.googleapis.com uses an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
After a bit of digging, it seems specific to the BT ISP in the UK, and caused by their BT Web Protect product. If I disable Web Protect from my BT account I can access the urls again, but obviously that is not a solution I can offer to our customers. (Similarly, if I connect via a mobile hotspot on my phone, all is well)
I contacted BT who suggested I email saferbrowsing#bt.com and ask them to unblock it, so if anyone else is having this issue please do the same - the more noise on this the quicker the resolution hopefully.
To the Firebase team - is there anything you can do from your side to expedite this? Firebase Storage is a huge part of our product and it simply doesn't work for anyone on BT at the moment.
Thanks
John
I got a reply from BT this morning saying that firebase has been unblocked, and all seems to be working again. phew!
Several ISP's have anti-spam detection, this is used to hunt down new spikes of traffic that can seem suspicious. If you are getting faults from users from a specific ISP or geolocation, this can indicate outages or blocked requests.
The best solution is to always call their technical support and discuss what could have triggered it and remove any potential blocks from happening again.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR while making request to Firebase Realtime Database. Database was deleted

My web app I was currently developing, fetches a token (that I have stored in firebase) so it can get data from an api when the app first runs. And it's been working fine for weeks making requests back and forth no problem. Then suddenly it gives me a "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR" when making that request. Checked the database everything looks fine, then in a couple of minutes it's suddenly emptied out/deleted. I cant even manually add anything. Tried a PUT request to add something, get that error for that too.
Screenshot of error
I'm still new to development/first time using firebase.
Edit: You know I never added any rules to the database, and it had been 30 days I believe since I created it. Could that have been it? I was going to do it before deploying and thought I would finish before 30 days.
EDIT: Fixed it!
Okay so turns out I just needed to sign out of my other google accounts I was signed in.
With no answers, I had decided just to start a new firebase project, but then that one also didn't work but it said "unable to load your database" which led me to this Upgrading Firebase: "Unable to load your database"

What would cause events to suddenly stop being sent to/recevied by firebase?

We are using Firebase/Google analytics for our Android and iOS app. Everything seemed to be sending data correctly and we were able to view the data in Big Query etc. However we started to notice that some data seemed to be getting lost.
We detected an odd situation where some users' analytics data stopped showing on Firebase/Google Analytics/Big Query, despite having previously received data from that user in the past. The data seems to just stop at a random point in time, for random users.
in_app_purchase events from those players were still appearing in the data on dates where they didn't have any other events. We checked our backend service (gamesparks) for their account and could see that they were active players who had been using the app very recently. That is, after their last event was appearing in Big Query.
After investigating some more and started finding other users who had the same issue. They would be sending data without issue and then all of a sudden we would receive nothing from them, except from in_app_purchase events/notification events etc which are sent via a seperate service (app store etc) rather than the client.
After scouring our implementation and going over it line by line comparing to the samples/documentation we couldn't really see any issues, and even the automatic events (session_start etc) stop appearing. We made sure we were using the latest versions of the firebase SDKs etc in the hope it would fix it but it made no difference.
One peculiar thing is that when we find a in_app_purchase event from one of these 'broken' players, things like the user properties and default parameters for that player have changed from when they stopped sending data, so it seems like the lost data is somewhere but not being logged anywhere.
I was wondering if it was possible for specific users to stop their app sending any analytics data to Firebase via a device/google account setting?
While looking into the documentation we noticed that if Google Play Services is installed on the device, data is sent via that, rather than via the client/firebase sdk itself. Is there any known issue with players changing their Google Play Services settings that could cause something like this?
Wondered if this was a known issue but please let me know what other information you might need.
EDIT: I also wanted to mention that although we can't be 100% certain, we believe this is only happening to our Android users. We haven't found any iOS users that have the same issue.
Thanks,
Matt

Firebase storage states full after deleting all files

Like many other people out there, I am using Firebase for my project. In the past few days I have used Firebase quite a lot for sending media files between users. Now, I am also on the free plan, as I am still testing Firebase.
All of a sudden, Firebase has stopped responding, mentioning that
"You have exceeded your quota for this project. Please upgrade your plan.
LEARN MORE"
I know that Firebase has a limit on the amount of data I can transfer per day and store, that's no problem. My problem is that even after a full day, and having everything in storage deleted, I still get the same error.
Truth is, this error only shows up for the storage section. But, as you can see in the picture, my storage is now empty. Therefore my question is how can I reset firebase, or there's no other way around other than paying?
Since I am not able to see any files, I am also suspecting that I have not deleted them all, or them correctly? Could this be what's going on?
The more interesting part is the when clicking on "LEARN MORE", I am prompted to the following page, which is even more misleading.
Update: After looking at my quota details I found out that my Cloud Storage Network is full:
Looking at the Pricing for Storage on the Spark Plan it says that you can store up to 5Gb of data. Now this plan is based on Cloud Platform's Always Free and their documentation says "5Gb-months". I'm not sure of what that means, but I'm assuming that you have already exceeded your 5Gb for this month (even though you deleted the files afterwards). Maybe your quota will actually have some kind of "refresh" next month so you'll probably only be able to use Firebase storage again by that time.
