I would like to know how to add my wiki page to a google analytics tracking. I have tried different approaches, using the tag manager or trying to add the necessary codes over and , but I am really really new to this.
Can anyone help me with that?
Thank you
I setup userTimingHit for Google Analytics for tracking how much time spent a user on a specific page and form.
I have used JavaScript for to collect variables and send them to specific GA timing tag on Tag Manager.
Could I set it on Adobe DTM.? Anyone with experience with it?
Maybe set dataElement with specific variable?
I tried with function and doesn’t work.
Thanks for any clues.
So since a few days my bounce rate dropped massively in Analytics. I found out the Google Tag Assistant records 3 Analytics Tags on the website, which apparently is a big reason why GA suddenly drops the bounce rate, but I can't figure out why. The URL is: https://www.krant.nl/abonnement/hp/index.html
Since I tried about everything, went back to the version where it still worked, still no luck. I also can't seem to find any weird things in the website code itself.
I hope the question is clear, if I need to provide any more information please let me know.
In your website it's firing Universal Analytics 3 times because you are using https://vwo.com/. If you will delete it, it will fix problem
I am working with a client on their google-analytics and we came across a question I dont have the answer to. The customer is using GA to pull conversion, bounce, ecommerce, and revenue numbers from their website.
They are looking at the Universal Properties for GA and wanted to know that if they make changes to the Universal Properties for GA will this impact how GA is pulling information from their website and recording it?
Thanks
I am managing an account in Adwords. The developer and UX have decided to track events rather than conversions in Google Analytics. Since for events, there is no unique URL for placing a tracking code as is the typical method in Adwords, we need a way to convert events in a trackable goal in Adwords.
Can someone walk me through the process for doing this? I have contacted Google support for some help on this issue, but this is a relatively new feature so they were not much help this time around.
I essentially need to track a click. I know how to do this, but as this is a large client, changing code on their site is a big pain. I'd rather just turn an event into a conversion via the Analytics interface.
The below article actually helped me understand what the heck to do.
How to use events as goals in Analytics
The official documentation on this is terrible. It's a somewhat complex task if you've never done it before.
So just do the above, then import as normal from your analytics account.
