Error while trying to add BlossomV package in Julia - julia

I am trying to add the BlossomV package in Julia. I am receiving the following error:
*LoadError: BlossomV not properly installed. Please run Pkg.Build("BlossomV")
LoadError: Failed to precompile BlossomV*
On running Pkg.Build("BlossomV"),
I am getting the following error:
*LoadError: IOError: could not spawn setenv(*A lot of attributes are there here*): no such file or directory (ENOENT)*
I am facing this error on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu.
I would appreciate it if anyone could explain what the issue is and how to solve it. Thank you.

BlossomV.jl is just a wrapper around a C library and I bet it is the process of building the C library that's failing. BlossomV is designed around the old approach to handling binary dependencies. It would be great to either rewrite it using pure Julia, or use the modern "artifact" system which is a vastly more robust way to ship binary dependencies.

Circularity detected when running (vega:load-vega-examples)

When I load the vega-lite data sets using
(vega:load-vega-examples)
I get the following error:
Could not REQUIRE CL-DATE-TIME-PARSER: circularity detected. Please check your configuration
However, the examples appear to have loaded.
Also, before I installed cl-date-time-parser in quicklisp, I was getting an error message similar to:
Do not know how to REQUIRE CL-DATE-TIME-PARSER
Does anyone know how to get rid of these errors?
Many thanks!
The IMDB example requires cl-date-time-parser. I suspect that problem is that (require ...) only works when the library is in a location known to ASDF. In a new installation, this may not be the case. Now reported as issue #19.
Try loading the library with quicklisp and then rerunning load-vega-examples.

Julia - how to update WinRPM in julia version 0.6.4

I'm new to Julia and I want to use COBRA Package.
For adding COBRA I use command :
Pkg.add("COBRA")
But when running, I get these errors:
INFO: Building WinRPM

WARNING: skipping repodata/repomd.xml, not in cache -- call WinRPM.update() to download

After these errors, I have checked the link and I've found out the source is not there, anymore.
So then I ran this command as said above:
WinRPM.update()
But it has thrown this error:
ERROR: UndefVarError: WinRPM not defined
Please Help me to add COBRA to Julia. I'm using version 0.6.4 because Cobra does not work on the next versions.(Windows 10)
Any help would be appreciated.
The problem, as you've mentioned, is that the original sources used by the package aren't valid URLs anymore. The proper way to solve this is to open a pull request with the package to change the URLs (which I've now done here ). As a stopgap measure, here's a hacky way to work around this issue for now:
Do a Pkg.add("WinRPM"). This might trigger the same warnings as above, ignore these.
Next, using WinRPM to load the package we added
Now, the source URLs are read from the sources.list file (linked above) into a global WinRPM.sources variable. We're going to edit this variable's contents to point to new working URLs. (This is generally a terrible idea, to directly poke into the internals of a module and change things.)
julia> WinRPM.sources[:] = replace.(WinRPM.sources, "Leap_42.3" => "Leap_15.3")
2-element Vector{String}:
A WinRPM.update() should now work, and download things into a local cache.
I'm using version 0.6.4 because Cobra does not work on the next versions.
I hope you mean Julia 1.6.4 here, or version 0.6.4 of something else in the stack. If you mean Julia version 0.6.4, you might face further problems down the road and find it hard to get support for such an old version.

I can't get Atom text editor + leiningen + proto-repl to work (for programming Clojure)

Anything that Atom + proto-repl does involves lein, so I decided to check out lein. 'lein help' works, but attempting 'lein repl' gives the following errors:
gw-mac-pro:~ gr$ lein repl
Could not find artifact proto-repl:proto-repl:jar:1.4.24 in central (https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/)
Could not find artifact proto-repl:proto-repl:jar:1.4.24 in clojars (https://repo.clojars.org/)
This could be due to a typo in :dependencies, file system permissions, or network issues.
If you are behind a proxy, try setting the 'http_proxy' environment variable.
Could not resolve dependencies
I get the same set of messages when I attempt to run code from within Atom.
I've searched for hours for any kind of arcana about Atom, lein, or proto-repl, and I'm amazed that searching on 'lein error could not find artifact' continues to find nothing useful.
I'm surprised that no one has encountered this same problem. I'm running on macOS Mojave (10.14.6). Can you help me? Thanks.

"A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again" Sat4J

I wrote a java programm using Sat4J and it works fine. Now I want to export it as a jar-File, but when I execute it, it allways says
"A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/sat4j/specs/TimeoutException"
I don't have much experience with more then one package. So my structure is that I have one package with 4 classes I wrote and one package with 3 Sat4J classes. I don't even know if the error occurs because of sat4J or the different packages.
Does anyone have a clue what I can do? Thanks.
You need to add all Sat4j classes (from org.sat4j.core.jar for instance) in your jar.
Your favorite IDE usually provides a way to automatically include all dependencies with your code in a single jar.

error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: file too short

I'm running this on CentOS 6.8 (Final)
I'm trying to setup a Arma 3 Wasteland server for me and some friends.
But when I try to run it it gives the following error:
./arma3server: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by ./arma3server)
I'm not an advanced linux user, I'm more of a noob, I tried googling but it doesn't work, is there anyone that could help me fix this? Just give me a step by step guide of what I have to do please. If you need more info then please ask I'd be happy to give more information.
After trying to fix it I now get this error:
./arma3server: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: file too short
