IBM Sterling File Gateway - iFix zip - unzip fails - unzip

While unzipping iFix file downloaded from Support Fix Central then it shows corrupted.

In case of any Sterling File Gateway iFix file with .zip extension downloaded from IBM Fix Central larger than 4 GB then use jar -xvf <ifix file> instead of unzip.

Where is the Artifactory config file located after installing with RPM?

After installing Artifactory using the RPM installer, where is the Artifactory XML configuration file stored? (The one you can see through the UI at "Admin > Advanced > Config Descriptor")
Have been looking around in "/opt/jfrog/artifactory" and "/etc/opt/jfrog/artifactory" - but havent been able to locate this specific file.
Thanks in advance!
I haven't used the RPM installer, but I've used the Debian installer and the Docker image, and I'd imagine they all put it in the same place:
/var/opt/jfrog/artifactory/etc/artifactory.config.latest.xml
It should also be accessible by symbolic link from:
/opt/jfrog/artifactory/etc/artifactory.config.latest.xml
Other files in that directory in the form of artifactory.config.latest.[numbers].xml are backups or older edits of this file.

How to build berkeley db on linux

I've downloaded Berkeley DB source codes from Oracle's website. After unpacking the zip file, there does not have any files in build_unix directory. There exists an directory which contains sln file for build it on windows using visual studio.
My question is if there is a sample Makefile & Configure script for building this db on unix-like systems such as Linux.
The makefile and configure scripts are located at DB_ROOT/dist/* , DB_ROOT is the root directory of the unzipped source codes.
The build guide is available at https://docs.oracle.com/database/bdb181/html/installation/build_unix.html#build_unix_intro

Xilinx 14.7 license configuration manager is not running

I have installed Xilinx 14.7 but I'm unable to open its configuration manager even after several trials to put in a license as Xilinx gives me this error:
ERROR:Map:258: - A problem was encountered attempting to get the license for this architecture.
How can I fix this?
You can get the license here:
https://www.xilinx.com/support/licensing_solution_center.html
Once you download the license file (it will have the .lic file extension) you can place it in the .../Xilinx/14.7/ISE_DS/ISE/coregen/core_licenses directory
The exact path to where you need to put it depends on where you installed the software. I installed mine to /opt/ so my path would be /opt/Xilinx/14.7/ISE_DS/ISE/coregen/core_licenses

Install qt-vs-addin-msvc2015-2.0.0-beta in Visual Studio 2015

I want to install the Qt addin for Visual Studio 2015.
From the Qt site I've downloaded the file qt-vs-addin-msvc2015-2.0.0-beta, that's a zip file, but when I unzip it I've a bunch of files and folders and I don't know how to install it.
How can I install this extension?
I am not sure where you got the zip file, you can download the vsix file from here, which can be directly installed in VS as an extension.
Internet Explorer (I'm using v11) and, according to the comments above, the MS Edge browser, rename .vsix files to .zip files when they are downloaded from the qt.io website. This is especially confusing because .vsix files are, in fact, valid .zip files; however, extracting their contents into a folder doesn't provide the user with any method of installing them.
Change the extension on the files from .zip to .vsix and double-click the resulting icon. That should launch the vsix installer.

Issue upgrading to phpunit 3.5.13

I have been using phpunit for a while, starting with 3.5.8, subsequently upgrading to 3.5.10 and now on 3.5.11
I wanted to upgrade to 3.5.13 today using the commands:
pear channel-update pear.phpunit.de
pear upgrade phpunit/PHPUnit
Unfortunately pear does upgrade itself only but the upgrade of phpunit fails as seen below. Yes, I am in Administrator mode, so authorizations should not be an issue. I find this all the more strange, as I have performed two successful upgrades previously. Because of this I find it hard to believe it is an issue that is specific to my setup (the development machine is running Windows 7 64Bit).
Has anyone else experienced this issue and can offer a solution?

Update
As #amateur barista and #Tibor have pointed out, you can apply this same fix without modifying your pear.ini by using the following commands:
> pear config-set temp_dir "C:\tmp"
> pear config-set download_dir "C:\tmp"
Original
I had this same issue on my Windows 7 64-bit machine running WampServer.
It seems that PEAR handles the temp_dir and download_dir variables differently. For download_dir it handles spaces in the path correctly, while for temp_dir it becomes FUBAR'd.
Here are the steps to correct:
Open your pear.ini (mine was: C:\Program Files (x86)\WAMP\bin\php\php5.3.4\pear.ini)
Note: This file is serialize'd so make sure you understand the syntax before changing anything.
Alter the temp_dir and download_dir variables to paths without spaces.
Example (before):
s:8:"temp_dir";s:48:"C:\Program Files (x86)\WAMP\bin\php\php5.3.4\tmp";s:12:"download_dir";s:48:"C:\Program Files (x86)\WAMP\bin\php\php5.3.4\tmp"
Example (after):
s:8:"temp_dir";s:6:"C:\tmp";s:12:"download_dir";s:6:"C:\tmp"
All done! Try your install command again.
Presumably, you probably only need to alter one of the paths in pear.ini but this is how I got it working.
The command llnes to modify pear config attributes
pear config-set temp_dir "C:\tmp"
pear config-set download_dir "C:\tmp"
From the error message, Unable to create directory 'C:/Program/Fil7675.tmp', it looks like it's chopping Files off the configured temporary file path. I don't know where PEAR installs on Windows, but it seems like it's trying to create a folder under "C:/Program Files/PEAR" but chops off everything after the space.
Actually, it looks like it's stuffing part of Files into the new path.
