I was testing to see how my links appear when it's shared on whatsapp or other social media, I found that it only shows the link, but not the meta description and page/post image etc.
I use the latest wordpress version btw and Yoast SEO plugin.
How to fix it?
Social media takes time to get your updated description and post images and other details that does not effect at a time and yes you can use the Sharing Debugger to see the information that is used when your website content is shared on Facebook, Messenger and other places via this link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

I'm using the automator uncanny plugin and the "recipe" status is working just so I have a little problem about my post/blog thumbnail not showing up.
how to overcome it? should I add the og:image meta tag? if so, what part should I put it in?
Facebook from wordpress using the automator plugin, only thumbnails of the automatic results do not show on my facebook
Use SEO plugin(All in One SEO for WordPress or Yoast…etc / Rank Math is good nowaday)
Resize thumbnail image(630*1200..etc)
And use facebook debugger site for cleaning facebook cache
Issue: LinkedIn does not generate a thumbnail image when sharing a blog post. Here’s an example blog post: https://blog.terkel.io/12-tips-to-improve-underperforming-blog-posts/
We have:
Upgraded to the latest version of the Yoast SEO plugin
Shared the url to Facebook and confirmed that the thumbnail image displays on their platform
Viewed the source code to determine that the og:image appears, and the media file can render
Analyzed the LinkedIn Post Inspector and determined that they are not detecting an image (image not found; same with the publish date field)
Our site has all the required meta tags for sharing on social media; see their recommendation at https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a521928. So it’s unclear why LinkedIn isn't picking those up.
What solutions would be recommended to get a thumbnail image to be detected and displayed on LinkedIn?
Your og:image is a .webp file. Use a JPEG or PNG; in my experience, LinkedIn doesn't support WEBP images.

I believe the Blog App 3.03 uses AddThis. See App.Settings. You need to go setup an account on AddThis, then get the URL with your 'key' saved in the settings. Then you configure things on the AddThis site for your project; which shares to include.
welcome to StackOverflow :)
#Accuraty-Jeremy is right - as of now, it just uses AddThis. You can try to customize that, or create your own share-feature as you want, since the html-source is there, ready for editing.
I am using "Facebook instant articles" feature for my WordPress website.
The instant articles are being generated without any error, and I can see them while using the Facebook app. In the generated instant article only first five lines of the original article's content are displaying. The rest of the content from the article is coming as a hyperlink. Users need to click on READ MORE link which comes after five lines. The link will redirect the user to original link via the browser.
Things I have tried:
I have checked if there is any option for including all the text from an article in STYLE EDITOR in Facebook page's publishing tools section. But didn't find any option there.
If I disable Divi builder everything is working fine. When I enable builder plugin, read more (hyperlink) is coming.
Some more information:
I have not yet tried API option for generating instant articles.
I am using default style editor.
I am using official Facebook instant articles for WP plugin for generating instant articles.
I am not using RSS feed option.
I am using Divi Builder plugin.
Question: How to display all the content from the article in facebook instant article?
I am not sure why this is happening. But, When i try to post Link Omitted on the company's facebook page, the thumbnails aren't loaded by the facebook. Whereas if I try to post some earlier link from my website, like Link Omitted, all the pics from that page are loaded.
Can someone tell why this happens...Also, sometimes, facebook doesn't load all the images from page.
You rely on how Facebook scrapping your page content which isn't a best way to achieve what you want. The reason you see image for older links is probably caching.
To ensure you have images with posting your content on Facebook you should add og:image OpenGraph meta tags.
For more info on this read OpenGraph documentation and use Facebook Debug tool to check if you have any issues with scrapping and/or all details scrapped correctly.
