Vuetify bottom nav bar extension - css

I am currently working on a little project and came up with a design for my bottom navigation bar (just a small personal project to learn).
Pretty standard bottom nav bar with two buttons left and then one reaching a little bit over.
First step was to to wrap my button into a div and push said div out. Next I wrapped that button in another div with a circle to create the „padding“. However, to create that „smooth“ curves from the bar to the padding was a challenge. I fiddled around with svg paths and was then able to put that svg together with the button into a div, push the svg out, then the button a bit.
However, I came across the fluid_bottom_nav_bar in flutter which seems to this flawless so I was thinking what better ways there are to achieve this.
Thanks guys.

React component sliding in/out

I'm trying to write a sliding menu similar to that with images here: https://chustynka.pl/
I've got already components that are changing in time (with arrows) the only thing left is animation. I added the classes and ids that will be useful but I don't know how to use css to animate them. Could you help?

Unfortunately it's not just CSS code you need. As you're going to animate the slides you have to do some more javascript code as well. For example you have to keep track of the direction of the slides. That is if you're pressing the left or right arrow. That, in turn, will decide which direction the slides will slide in/out.
There's a lot of approaches to doing this but it involves more coding in JS. =)
This is not a React slider I've made here but you can download/clone it from Github and take a look at the script for it. Maybe it will give you some idea of what you have to do.

How can I achieve this 'WOW' scrolling effect

A client of mine saw this awesome scrolling effect when clicking on a menu item: http://www.feedmusic.com/
I'm talking about the grey/purple overflow between the two anchor menu items.
I've been Googeling around for hours and can't find anything like this. Does anyone know how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance!
It's singlepage application with disabled scrolling. I haven't experience with singlepage, but here are ideas which looks like it could work:
Create two divs between content one gray and second purple (or one with two colors in the background). Then create scrolling via js (jquery) on button click.
If it's ajax loaded, there could be only 3 divs: one with current content, one with gray/purple background and third with new content and js should place the divs to required places. But first solution should be easier.
Implementation is up to you.

CSS Transition working one way but not the other, not sure why

I have been working on something based on brad frost's Off Canvas Fullscreen Overlay responsive design pattern.
However for some reason the transition only runs when clicking on the list item (the overlay slides in from the right) but not when you then click on the back button (it is suppose to slide back out). I can't understand why it isn't working when a user closes the overlay. The JS that effects the class of the elements seems to be working correctly.
I've created a codepen so people can see what is happening. http://codepen.io/colmjude/pen/fBnrI
Any ideas? Thanks.

Tutorial for horizontal scrolling single page site

I'm having trouble finding some good resources or even an example of the kind of site I'm trying to build.
Essentially it is a one page, horizontally scrolling site with a fixed header and footer at the top and bottom. Rather than scroll using buttons or a scroll bar, clicking on the links in the nav menu would move the page across, most likely using jQuery, to the respective section.
In other words, just for clarity, the header, footer and background always remain in place and it is the main content section which moves left and right. So there would be half a dozen or so floated divs stacked in a single row.
I have that basic framework laid out, but I can't figure out how to allow the main content section to extend past the window size, allowing for all these divs to float in a line.
Here is a crude/minimalist demo of what I have: http://jsfiddle.net/U8ZYT/
I would appreciate any links to tutorials, examples of similar websites or any direct suggestions.
Try using jcarousel..its pretty easy to make it do exactly what your loking for and theyve got some pretty good examples to get you started

Having trouble with making horizontal buttons

How do I fix this navigation bar?
I tried making it on my own but I just can't get everything to work.
This is the button in all three states:
The red background is #490000 and it should be a separate div.
The text on top of the buttons is a custom font but that doesn't matter in this case.
I've thrown together a working sample you could study. Can you elaborate on where you had issues so I can explain the solution?
