Drupal jsonapi cross bundles module usage - drupal

I'm setting up a Drupal API, using jsonapi. In the frontend application, we would like to get all content, regardless of content type, with one request. I came across this issue that adresses exactly that and a module has been worked on: JSON:API Cross Bundles I have already installed the module, but I cannot seem to find how to use it. I assumed that I would just be able to request /jsonapi/node to get a response with all my nodes, but that doesn't seem to be how it works. Has anyone actually used this module and can explain to me how to use it ?

Calling jsonapi/node actually works for me. I just enabled the module and it worked out of the box.

2sxc: 404 Error after adding App module on the page. API is missing?

I have a problem when placing an App module(v 8.4.8) on a page. When I placed an App module on a page I got a pop up saying "Had an error talking to the server (status 404). if you are an advanced user you can learn more about what went wrong - discover how on 2sxc.org/help?tag=debug".
This error happens on whatever action I try to do: trying to add and app, refresh page etc.
I checked a communication to the server using Firebug and seems that one of APIs are missing:
~/desktopmodules/2sxc/api/view/Module/GetSelectableApps
Referer: ~/desktopmodules/tosic_sexycontent/dist/dnn/ui.html?sxcver=8.4.8.19191
Did I missed something? Should I make some configuration after SexyContent module install (v 8.4.8)?
I just checked a video by Daniel Mettler where he showed how to install a module and seems that process is simple. Nothing to worry about.
Does anybody has any idea what might went wrong here?
The same actually happens when I install and Content module: Error about missing APIs:
~/desktopmodules/2sxc/api/view/Module/GetSelectableContentTypes
~/desktopmodules/2sxc/api/view/Module/GetSelectableTemplates
Thanks a lot for your time
My best guess is that it's an issue with the dnn domain/path configuration. So basically my guess is that
you have multiple domains, and if this is configured incorrectly, the paths in the js-calls won't fully match the original one
you have sub-portal (with paths like /products/) or something, and this isn't configured correctly in dnn
languages in portal-paths are causing similar issues.
So please compare EXACTLY the full base path and see if that's the issue.

Load Javascript just for admin in silverstripe 3.1

Im trying to add some custom javascript to my admin but not having such a good time. What I tried so far is.
Requirements::javascript('../mysite/modules/widgets/widgets/calculator/admin/js/admin.js');
The path is correct because when I do fopen to that it returns true.
I have also tried the following.
LeftAndMain::require_javascript('../mysite/modules/widgets/widgets/calculator/admin/js/admin.js');
Same thing with fopen.
It doesn't give any error niether is it loaded(I checked network tab in dev tools)
The path should be relative to the site root not the cms or framework folders. In other words: 'mysite/modules/widgets/widgets/calculator/admin/js/admin.js'
Depending on your situation, I've had more luck using yml for this. I'm not convinced the dynamic loading always works perfectly on ajax requests. In this case it would look like:
LeftAndMain:
extra_requirements_javascript:
- mysite/modules/widgets/widgets/calculator/admin/js/admin.js

How does Spring work with apparently no code?

I am trying to understand the example described here.
What is puzzling to me is that there is apparently no code. I run the spring-security-samples-insecuremvc-3.2.x within Tomcat and a form is presented to interact with but there is no Java code whatsoever as far as I can see. I can't even find the form. I realize that the code must be in one of the dependencies but I am baffled at how this all works.
Spring does generate/provide a default login form if it's configured to do form-based login and no custom login form is configured.
Sidenote: how to create and configure a custom login form is, for example, explained here: http://docs.spring.io/spring-security/site/docs/3.2.x/guides/form.html (to long to be copy/pasted here).
I have been looking at this sample today with the same questions as you - where the heck is the source? I finally found the answer I think you're looking for. Take a look at the pom.xml and in the dependencies you'll see spring-security-samples-messages-jc. Assuming you downloaded all the samples, import that project into STS and you'll find the files you're looking for.
BTW, I've been following the instructions on the spring security website to add security to this sample and I have not yet been able to get it to work - the login screen does not appear. Let me know if you have better luck than me.
The default spring security login form is generated by the class org.springframework.security.web.ui.DefaultLoginPageGeneratingFilter which is in spring-security-web-$version.jar
The method is generateLoginPageHtml()

Plone yields 404 on new content save

The issue: a content editor saves a new content item and gets a 404 on the proper-looking url for the new object. If they then refresh, the item is there, perfectly normal.
This happens for multiple Archetypes-based content types, and we've seen it on at least two different sites. We've seen it on Plone 3.x and 4.0.3. Here's what these sites have in common:
HAProxy load balancing (with and without session affinity)
Multiple ZEO clients
Using either ZODB 3.9.7 or 3.8.4
The issue happens only some of the time, maybe for 1 out of 4 content items
Has anyone seen anything like this?
I do not have an answer for you; this should not really happen. I certainly have not seen this.
You'll need to gather more information to troubleshoot this, and that perhaps requires interactive access to experts, and SO is not the place for such troubleshooting.
All I can do is advice that you gather as much information as possible, including a full trail of the user interaction from the various logs, including HAProxy and the ZEO server.
It may require additional instrumentation at the server level (when the NotFound error occurs, dump additional information about what is present, etc).
Some recomendations/questions:
Verfy that the content object was, indeed, created.
Check that the content views are correct (the ones that are declared in profiles/default/types/yourtype.xml).
Does it happen when adding content directly to plone instance (Without caching and load balancing?
Does it happen when adding content to direct plone instance with load balancing, but without caching? ---> And so on ...?
Maybe not an elegant one, but you might try inserting print statements or pdb breakpoints in the code so you can track whenever a content object was, indeed, created. Do this only as a desperate method of "instrumentation".
Yes. we have recently started seeing the same issue. We have almost the same setup. Haproxy (no session affinity).
I'm wondering since the pattern seems to be haproxy... perhaps its an issue with a request being redistributed after a timeout?
Updated:
We had this issue. It happens when you have a redirect back to the changed object after a save. This is because the 2nd request hits another zeo client which doesn't realise it's out of date.
The only solution we found was a to add temporary session affinity in haproxy (20s) during any POST. Not ideal but does work. I was just searching for a better solution which is why I found this old post.

Embedded image in external component?

I am developing a drop-in component for our company's websites. This component allows users to send messages to each other.
Making this, I've hit several problems during development, such as LoadControl() not working (as it seems to be relative to the project including the module, not the module itself).
I managed to fix this using an approach I found online, but now the next problem emerges - images.
To make the component look somewhat nice, images would be appreciated by the users for icons.
But, again, I am stuck at the same problem.
For instance, if I want an ImageButton, I would set it's ImageUrl property to "~/images/message.png", but this really references something inside my DLL and as such obviously doesn't work!
Is there a standard, good solution for this kind of problem?
Thanks!
You could use WebResources, look at
http://www.aspcode.net/Including-WebResource-in-ASPNET-server-control.aspx
or embedd image in control assembly as resource and serve it with http module, but you will have to declare that http module in web config of application that is using your control.
