WebDriverManagerException when using WebDriverManager for selenium - webdriver-manager

I am using WebDriverManager api to initiate browser. I am using the following code to connect to chrome browser.
WebDriverManager.chromedriver().setup()
Exception is:

Telepresence Connection Error - Traffic Manager version unsupported, must be 2.4.5 or higher while it is 2.6.5

I have started to face this problem. While trying to connect, I am facing an error stating that my traffic-manager version is 2.1.5 and it should be at least 2.4.5.
"telepresence connect" command checks for new versions and modifies it if there is any new version exists. So I am thinking that started to create a problem. Because I was using it as normal.
When I check the connector.log file these two lines create the problem.
connector/session : Existing Traffic Manager 2.6.5 not owned by cli or does not need upgrade, will not modify
connector/session : failed to connect to root daemon: rpc error: code = Unknown desc = unsupported traffic-manager version 2.1.5. Minimum supported version is 2.4.5
So somehow I have two versions now while checking for the update it hits 2.6.5 but while trying to run it tries with 2.1.5. Trying to uninstall telepresence but it also faces the same problem and I couldn't locate and delete traffic-manager 2.1.5. My OS is Windows 11.
Because of that, I am kind of blocked with my tests. Any help will be well appreciated. Thanks!
After asking the question, a new version arrived, if anyone encountered this problem, please update telepresence to 2.6.6. It is fixed now.

R RSelenium rsDriver chrome browser error on Mac

I am using a Mac (OS 10.13.6) and am trying to learn how to use RSelenium.
I have installed RSelenium but am having trouble with the rsDriver command:
rD <- rsDriver(browser="chrome",chromever="80.0.3987.106")
I get this error:
Could not open chrome browser.
Client error message:
Undefined error in httr call. httr output: Failed to connect to localhost port 4567: Connection refused
Check server log for further details.
Warning message:
In rsDriver(browser = "chrome", chromever = "80.0.3987.106") :
Could not determine server status.
I've been poking around for help for a couple of days now but am not clear on the appropriate solution here. I've tried the command with chromever="latest" and following the suggested workaround found here: stackoverflow.com/questions/55201226/. Furthermore, I don't know where to find the "server log" mentioned in the error.
Having never used this package before, or done this type of thing, I can't tell if I just don't have things set up on my machine correctly (non-R requirements of RSelenium that I need to install and where), or whether this is strictly a chrome browser setting/verison issue, or generally mac compatibility issue.
Does anyone an updated (i.e. not involving the defunct checkForServer() command) set of steps (for absolute Selenium beginners) for getting RSelenium set up and rsDriver working on a mac?
After a lot of trials and errors, I managed to solve the same issue by installing
Java SE Development Kit 14 on my Mac.
I hope this solves your issue.

NoSuchAlgorithmException when using migration tool

I am trying to use the migration tool utility from within PingFederate but I keep getting the following error:
List adapters... Downloading adapter index from source... ERROR:
Unable to download from source.
java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: E rror constructing
implementation (algorithm: Default, provider: SunJSSE, class:
sun.security.ssl.SSLContextImpl$DefaultSSLContext) Done.
From the configcopy.log:
Caused by: java.net.SocketException: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException
Caused by: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: Error constructing implementation
Caused by: java.io.IOException: Invalid keystore format
Windows 7 Professional SP1
java version "1.8.0_144" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build
1.8.0_144-b01) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.144-b01, mixed mode)
PingFederate: 8.4.2
I am attempting this because we want to automate a deployment process which has currently been manual. I am only trying to use the listadapters.conf template and have set the source.conf to output to a file. The command I am entering is:
configcopy.bat -Dconfigcopy.conf.file=configcopy_templates\\source.conf;configcopy_templates\
\listadapters.conf
and I am running this from the <PF_HOME>/bin directory. The contents of the two files I mentioned are:
source.conf
source.connection.management.service.url =
<my local install url on port 9999>/pf-mgmt-ws/ws/ConnectionMigrationMgr
source.connection.management.service.user = Administrator
source.connection.management.service.password =
OBF:JWE:eyJhbGciOiJkaXIiLCJlbmMiOiJBMTI4Q0JDLUhTMjU2Iiwia2lkIjoibGJhaGtDZlNiSiIsInZlcnNpb24iOiI4LjQuMi4wIn0..ryNLCcpzwEx6KGzXi1FboA.34NbypXUud45R77TLwMvjg.dQFNb9NpbDY_EWIePb9hMA
configcopy.connection.trust.keystore = C:\Program Files\Ping
Identity\pingfederate-8.4.2\pingfederate\server\default\data\pf.jwk
output.file = c:\temp\pf-config.txt
The Administrator is the default one from install with all three roles added to it and the password was obfuscated using obfuscate.bat in the bin directory.
listadapters.conf
cmd=listadapters
debug=true
select.adapter.role = idp
Even though it doesn't look like it above all backslashes are escaped that just hasn't come through here.
I have tried:
removing the path to the keystore altogether
ERROR: Unable to download from source.
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException : PKIX path building failed:
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to
find valid certification path to requested target Done.
Setting the path to cacerts in jre/lib (same error as above)
I have installed the data.zip from the DotNet-Integration-Kit-2-5-2.zip and that is the only set up on this PC. (my dev box)
The integration kit puts two certificates (maybe the same one twice, not sure) that can be viewed through
Server Configuration > Trusted CAs
Server Configuration > SSL Server Certificates
And I have also added one into
Server Configuration > SSL Client Keys & Certificates
The kits certs show as RSA1024 and the one I created shows as RSA2048.
Questions:
Why does the error state algorithm:default (key store format?)
Is there a setting I am missing that would change it from default
Does anyone know of any docs other than the admin manual (almost know
it by heart now)
Why is pf.jwk the wrong format
Any other ideas at all please.
[update] Dam, I have been trying to use the migration utility but as I am on a version over 7.2 I should be using the administrative API. Back to the drawing board. Still looking for advice though!
The pf.jwk file is an encrypted Java web key. The truststore is a standard jks file that you add PingFed's SSL key to, or its signing CA's public key.
However, as you have found, you should use the admin API. Configcopy is no longer being developed.

HTK error : Requested data format is not supported

I installed HTK tookit. It was happened when I terminated “hslab yes.sig” command line on win10 system.
The following the error :
ERROR [+6006] StartAudi: Requested data format is not supported [ERR=2]
FATAL ERROR - Terminating program hslab
Who can give a advice? Very thanks!
I suggest not using hslab in windows environment. U can use SFS (speech filling system) and better recording apps, like cooledit or another 3rd party, or event internal win. sound recorder

inconsistent behavior in RSelenium

On Linux, the RSelenium/Selenium seems to be behaving erratically. I start the server manually and it seems to start up fine. Sometimes I am able to connect to it from my R session and other times I get an error. I cannot yet pinpoint the cause: the same script seems to work sometimes and not other times. Any ideas?
Here is the output from starting the server:

Other times, running the exact same script everything proceeds successfully. It could be a difference of what computer node actually executes the script but I cannot tell what the problem is when it will not connect.

# running selenium
system("java -jar selenium-server-standalone-2.44.0.jar")
I faced same issue and try to run above code. Finally know that there only support 1.7 but not 1.8 as time being. You might try to download jre7 and jdk7.
I faced the same error in Mac, but I noticed that due to security settings the system does not let me to run the file with that piece of code. I downloaded the selenium standalone file and using control key I single-clicked the file and then from the menu I chose the open. Then the problem get solved.
