Tex Live - How to use in R Studio - r

I need to compile a PDF from my code. I first tried by installing tinytex. Unfortunately, tinytex couldn't compile and the error I got was "pdflatex not found". I looked through the bin directory of tinytex folder and there was no pdflatex.exe there.
So, I uninstalled tinytex, and instead have now installed the full Tex Live 2020 from tug.org. Now, I can see that there is a pdflatex.exe in the bin directory of tex live.
I am not able to figure out how to use tex live in R Studio. How do I link it to R, and what functions/ commands do I enter in R console for compilation. I have not been able to find anything related in the instructions in the tug site/ generally on Google.
I am on Windows 10.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks.
Update:
I set up the path to the bin directory of texlive in Windows-Advanced System Settings, and tried to compile a PDF from markdown again. Unfortunately, while the texlive path is now captured by R environment, compilation still does not work. The log created reads as follows:

Update 2
Ok. So I don't know how, but fmtutil -sys -all did the trick. Looks like bad installation. Not sure. Able to make the pdfs now, but code text wrapping is so tacky. Used knittr options setting, but it fails at places.

I know that in order to cross-compile. I had to run qmake from my cross-compile tool-chain location and then run make command on it.
I am guessing that is what's missing in my recipe. So my question is, Do I add that in my do_configure
if thats the case can anyone help me or point me how do I populate my do_configure
Is it as simple as source /opt/poky/2.7.1/environment----
then qmake
I am drawing a blank at this step
Please let me know what am I doing wrong
Edit1: remove inherit allarch from recipe
I would just leave inherit qmake5 and put DEPENDS + = "qtbase qtxyz ...", qtxyz would be the list of other dependency modules.

If I manually run the command that is says failed it seems to execute without error though I am not sure what it does. I assume it has something to do with checking with nginx if ghost has actually started or not.
Any suggestions would be very helpful! Thank you!
I faced with the same problem. You should add your service file to etc directory also as symbolic link using the following command:
sudo ln -sf /var/www/html/your-blog/system/files/ghost_blog-yourblog.service /etc/systemd/system/ghost_blog-yourblog.service
After adding this, you should execute the following commands:
sudo systemctl stop ghost_blog-yourblog.service
sudo systemctl start ghost_blog-yourblog.service
Then, I hope you'll see 'active' result for is-active command.

nmon installations in unix

Hi ,
I am trying to install nmon in Unix box.
nmon : nmon_x86_64_rhel6
Linux box is a 64 bit one too
steps i did for installation:
wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/nmon/files/nmon_x86_64_rhel6
chmod +x nmon_x86_64_rhel6
ln -s nmon_x86_64_rhel6 nmon
export NMON=cmt
but when i invoke nmon
i am getting an error message saying
****nmon: error while loading shared libraries: libtinfo.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory****
Got the answere
https://gist.github.com/sunggun-yu/4416430
Follow the steps and now the nmon is running fine

How to change %install section in spec file?

I tried to build binaries in RHEL6 using rpmbuild command.It throws file not found error during rpmbuild command execution. But In RHEL5 the same rpmbuild command is working fine.
RHEL5 execution result:
*Executing(%install): /bin/sh -e /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.77266
umask 022
cd /usr/src/redhat/BUILD
LANG=C
export LANG
unset DISPLAY*
RHEL6 execution result:
*Executing(%install): /bin/sh -e /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.BeMhyH
umask 022
cd //rpmbuild/BUILD
'[' //rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/ '!=' / ']'
rm -rf //rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/
++ dirname //rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/
mkdir -p //rpmbuild/BUILDROOT
mkdir //rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/
LANG=C
export LANG
unset DISPLAY
/usr/lib/rpm/check-buildroot*
I am not able to find any %install changes between the spec files. Any one please help me to understand what am i doing wrong?
Thanks in Advance..!
The only problem that is clear from the snippets provided is that $HOME is not defined in your rpmbuild environment. $HOME/rpmbuild is the default build root for 'rpmbuild' in RHEL6, instead of /usr/src/redhat as in RHEL5.
Things to consider:
Is there an '~/.rpmmacros' file that is altering the rpmbuild
directives.
The temporary %install script will not be deleted on
error-exit. Inspecting it directly might tell you more about why it failed.
Ex:
[user#host rpmbuild]$ rpmbuild -bb nano
<snip>
+ exit 1
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.2uw1tZ (%install)
RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.2uw1tZ (%install)
[user#host rpmbuild]$ cat /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.2uw1tZ
#!/bin/sh
RPM_SOURCE_DIR="/home/user/rpmbuild/SOURCES"
RPM_BUILD_DIR="/home/user/rpmbuild/BUILD"
...
Older recommendations were to nuke the target buildroot as the first step of %install. To help force a separation between the %build and %install steps, newer versions of rpmbuild strictly enforce it by doing it for you for the first step, as shown in what you pasted in.
I am assuming that your %build stage is putting one or more files into the target buildroot area, which it shouldn't be doing. It should all be in the build area only.

Memory issue with meteor up (mup) on Digital Ocean

I couldn't find existing posts related to my issue. On a Digital Ocean Droplet, mup setup went fine, but when I try to deploy, I get the following error. Any ideas? Thanks!

The memory issue stems from using DigitalOcean's $5 Droplet. To solve the problem, I added swap to the server, as explained in detail below.
Create and enable the swap file using the dd command :
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=1024 count=256k
“of=/swapfile” designates the file’s name. In this case the name is swapfile.
Next prepare the swap file by creating a linux swap area:
sudo mkswap /swapfile
The results display:
Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 262140 KiB
no label, UUID=103c4545-5fc5-47f3-a8b3-dfbdb64fd7eb
Finish up by activating the swap file:
sudo swapon /swapfile
You will then be able to see the new swap file when you view the swap summary.
swapon -s
Filename Type Size Used Priority
/swapfile file 262140 0 -1
This file will last on the virtual private server until the machine reboots. You can ensure that the swap is permanent by adding it to the fstab file.
Open up the file:
sudo nano /etc/fstab
Paste in the following line:
/swapfile none swap sw 0 0
Swappiness in the file should be set to 10. Skipping this step may cause both poor performance, whereas setting it to 10 will cause swap to act as an emergency buffer, preventing out-of-memory crashes.
You can do this with the following commands:
echo 10 | sudo tee /proc/sys/vm/swappiness
echo vm.swappiness = 10 | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.conf
To prevent the file from being world-readable, you should set up the correct permissions on the swap file:
sudo chown root:root /swapfile
sudo chmod 0600 /swapfile
This only worked for me by increasing the swap space to 1gb:
Make all swap off
sudo swapoff -a
Resize the swapfile
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=1M count=1024
Make swapfile usable
sudo mkswap /swapfile
Make swapon again
sudo swapon /swapfile
