Legacy FCM response now forbidden - firebase

Legacy FCM doesn't work anymore since the weekend.
My devices send push notifications via Legacy FCM via fcm.googleapis.com/fcm/send. I didn't change anything, but since the weekend I get the error code "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden". Does anybody else have this problem since a few days?
Changed google something?
I tried my keys with https://www.apnstester.com/fcm/ It still works. So I think google changed something in the firebase console.
Edit:
Is it possible that there is a secured access needed (https) and http is not supported anymore.
BR,
Flo

I had exactly the same problem since Saturday.
I have a node app that send requests to fcm.googleapis.com/fcm/send in http and I had a 403 Forbidden on every requests.
Using https fixed the problem.
Apparently the http is not supported anymore. I didn't find any mention of that anywhere though.

Yes, meanwhile I've found out, that the problem is http...
I've seen on a Firebase a "last update" date, 13/09/2019 on 2:53, so http is maybe since that time down...

Error 426 from newsapi.org once I deployed my site on Netlify

While I was trying my project on localhost it was working fine, using https://cors-anywhere.herokuapp.com/ since I got the CORS problem. But once I deployed the site on Netlify, it gave me the error 426 (Upgrade Required), with or without using https://cors-anywhere.herokuapp.com/.
These are the messages that appear on my console:
>Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 426 (Upgrade Required)
>Error: Request failed with status code 426
at createError.js:16
at settle.js:17
at XMLHttpRequest.<anonymous> (xhr.js:61)
I have been searching and some people seem to have similar problem to this. I have seen solutions like having my own server to pass the requests, but I don't know how to do it and, correct me if I am wrong, wouldn't that be the same as using https://cors-anywhere.herokuapp.com/?
Newsapi changed their pricing model.
You can't make requests from the browser anymore, you'll have to use a backend. I had the same problem and the easiest way around it was implementing a Node (Express) server.
I guess the free plan simply is not longer available in production.
"Requests from the browser are not allowed on the Developer plan, except from localhost."
Here's the updated plan page..
https://newsapi.org/pricing
Actually newsapi.org api in developer plan is no more working in production.
because in developer plan CORS is only enabled for localhost.
Developer Plan $0
CORS enabled for localhost.
https://newsapi.org/pricing
but if you want to fetch news in production then there is a alternative for this which have 1000 request per month free works in production also .
https://newsapi.in/
Newsapi.in this website provide api that have cors enabled for all origins.
Enjoy...
As others have mentioned, Newsapi no longer allows you to make requests from the browser.
newscatcher has a no-card free tier that allows for 10,000 requests. On top of that, depending on your use case you can even mail them to increase the limits for a short span of time, or to add extra data points.

HTTP 418 transport errors from Evernote API

For the last 12 hours we have been getting a lot of Transport errors with "HTTP Response code: 418". That made sync of users data practically impossible.
Has anything changed in how clients should communicate to the API or is it temporary error related to Wednesday's release?
We solved the problem by changing URL for UserStore from https://www.evernote.com/edam/user to https://www.evernote.com//edam/user (used by official SDKs)

"Post" via indy fails, while "Get" is working, using xe2, https and windows authentication

i already tried to find an answer here on nearly at any place at the web, but didn't find an answer that helped me out here - so i'm trying it here with this question:
i have to to get some information from a server in a domain, using https via indy components and the windows authentication. that's working quite fine (via IdHTTP1.Get(sURI)), the server logs are showing this (domain/user/request) and the response is always valid.
afterwards i try to post now some new values to the requested data, but this fails, since i get a "401" authenticaion error. BasicAuthentication=false, and HTTPOptions=[hoInProcessAuth,hoForceEncodeParams] via IdHTTP1.Post(sURI, Req_Json), where Req_Json is a UTF-8 encoded TStringStream. Now (and only when trying to POST) the IdHTTP1Authorization event is triggered twice, even if I do a handled=true there (read somewhere in a forum) it fails, if I do nothing there I get the same result: 401. There were some tips about the IdHTTP1SelectAuthorization event, but with that I had no luck, too.
Any ideas, where to start to get this solved? If there are any questions open, don't hesitate to ask!
p.s.: trying to post the same information via postman works correctly - so i guess it's about delphi/indy ...

Google OAuth 1.0 - set scope port to 443 (AuthSub Token has wrong scope)

I have been trying to learn OAuth (1.0) and have been testing my code by trying to access my contacts on Google. This is easy because I don't have to set up a friend/consumer relationship (Google just allows anonymous/anonymous for the consumer token) and because Google has the OAuth Playground to help me along.
So I set my code up as follows to go to
Request Token: https://www.google.com/accounts/OAuthGetRequestToken?scope=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fm8%2Ffeeds%2F
Authorized Request Token: https://www.google.com/accounts/OAuthAuthorizeToken
Access Token: https://www.google.com/accounts/OAuthGetAccessToken
Everything seemed to be going well - I got the request token alright, authorized it fine, and was able to get an access token. I then tried to make a request to https://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/default/full/
Only problem was, I kept getting this error: "401: AuthSub token has wrong scope"
I was confused by this because when I made the same request with the same consumer information in the OAuth Playground ( http://googlecodesamples.com/oauth_playground/index.php ) everything would work out alright.
Eventually, I found the following question: HTTP/1.1 401 Token invalid - AuthSub token has wrong scope
The top answer led me to my solution - there was code in one of the JARs I was using that was written to always set the port to 443 for https or 80 for http. When I stepped through my code and changed the port to -1, my request worked out fine and I was able to get the information I wanted.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to change the code in the JAR file, so I'm going to have to fix things on my end. In the answer to that question, 'Jonathan' said:
Another workaround would be to include the :443 in the token scope; it just has to match
I tried changing my request token query string to ?scope=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com **%3A443** %2Fm8%2Ffeeds%2F and Google just refused to give me a request token - it gave me a 400 error saying Invalid scope: https://www.google.com:443/m8/feeds/. Changing https to http didn't do anything. How would I do what Jonathan (who hasn't been online in almost a year) suggested?
The fact that Google's auth scopes are URLs is basically academic -- they aren't actually serving anything useful (see for yourself), so adding a port just confuses Google. So Jonathan was incorrect in his suggestion.
The only reason they even look like URLs is so that they could be expected to be universally unique (even this is only arguably true).
So don't put the :443 in your auth scope.

"Method Not Implemented" error - Firefox 3

Getting sporadic errors from users of a CMS; Ajax requests sometimes result in a "501 Method not implemented" response from the server. Not all the time; usually works.
Application has been stable for months. Users seem to be getting it with Firefox 3. I've seen a couple references via Google to such problems being related to having "charset=UTF-8" in the Content-type header, but these may be spurious
Has anyone seen this error or have any ideas about what the cause could be?
Thanks
Ian
You may want to check the logs of the server to see what's causing the issue. For example, it might be that these requests are garbled, say, because of a flaw in the HTTP 1.1 persistent connection implementation.
Try this
Try clearing your cookies and your cache
Type about:config into the URL bar, list of configuration settings for Firefox
Locate the setting for 'network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris'
Set the value of names of the servers to use NTLM with.
Locate the setting for 'network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris'
Set the value of names of the servers to use NTLM with.
network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies = True
Restart Firefox - Test URL to application
The problem occurs as your app is not running on the same domain as your service. You need to configure your Server to accept those calls by adding the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' Header.
