I am trying to apply themes in Telegram on Mac OS & following this guide but it's not working.
These are the steps I am following -
Activating theme
In Telegram Desktop, go to setting and under the Chat background section click on Choose from file.
Select the colors.tdesktop-theme file you just downloaded.
Click Keep Changes to apply the theme.
It doesn't show the 2nd step. The file is de-selected from the Choose from file popup.
My version is 5.2.2 (170992) Stable.
You're trying to apply theme for to a Swift version of Telegram, which is a native app created specifically for macOS.
However that theme is made for Telegram Desktop, a cross-platform app for Windows, Linux and macOS (yes, macOS has 2 official clients, you can read about their differences here)

I am using a bar code font to display bar code in my crystal report. It's working fine but in one condition
It needs restart of machine after installing bar code font. So it's working good because after installing bar code font I simply restart the machine and it start's work.
But when I uploaded my project on web server the same condition occurs. My service provider installed bar code font on server but, it requires restart of server to take effects which is not possible.
So what is the solution ?
I know that this is a old post.
But i had a issue with using a windows 10 computer with the font not registering even after i restarted the computer.
I found that the issue is that the font didnt get installed into the windows/fonts folder.
I tried dragging it into the correct folder but it still installed in C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts
I found the a solution is to right click on the font and click install for all users.
That was only way that it installed it in the right folder.
Found in answers.microsoft.com
I know that this is a different issue i just wanted to have the information available for anyone else that comes up with a similar issue.
Although many applications can detect the fonts installed using Drag-n-Drop or Copy-Paste to the Windows\Fonts folder, but Crystal Reports needs the fonts to be registered.
Drag-n-Drop or a copy-paste of font in the Windows\Fonts will not be registered until the system is restarted.
You'll have to ask your service provider to delete the copy/pasted or drag/dropped file from the Windows\Fonts folder and then do a proper install of the font, it will register it without restarting the system.
Typically a font can be installed/registered in the system as follows:
Control Panel > Fonts > File Menu > Install New Font > Select Drive of new font file > Select Folder of new font file > Select New Font File > Select Copy Fonts To Fonts Folder CheckBox > OK
Some options may vary depending on Windows version but procedure will be same. After installing/registering the font just close and re-open your Crystal Reports without restarting the system.
For official Microsoft reference of installing and removing fonts in common windows versions you may see How to install or remove a font in Windows
After a long weekend - I got JWrapper working with my application.
One thing I notice is that there are not uninstall entries in the Control Panel > Program and Features. ie:
I also noticed I had to write a custom app to place a short cut on the user's desktop. Not a problem, but this is something that is generally standard.
Is it possible to get the JWrapper installation to show up in the Program and Features (and whatever is equivelent for Macs)?
JWrapper doesn't currently support installing to Programs and Features however it will by default install a program group into the start menu including an uninstaller shortcut.
Where do these five images come from?
They seem to be installed on all iOS simulators when launched via Xcode 6. Even after resetting the simulator they show up.
I ask because I want to depend on these images being there for automated testing but can't track down where they are coming from.
They come from the sample content that is installed when simulators are created or erased. This content is located in the simruntime bundle.
See /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/Library/CoreSimulator/Profiles/Runtimes/iOS 8.1.simruntime/Contents/Resources/SampleContent
I have currently switched to Xcode 4.5.1(iOS 6 SDK). My doubt is, whether at the same time can we install multiple simulator versions to test our app?
Open up Xcode Preferences (Xcode->Preferences), then click on Downloads. You should be able to download previous versions of the simulator from there.
You can then choose which one to use by using the dropdown menus near the top left next to the "Run" and "Stop" buttons.
I had recently upgrade our development machine to Xcode4 and after the initial interface change has gone quite smoothly.
I'm now in the process of using Ad-Hoc distribution on it for the first time so I followed this guide to set up profiles/schemes etc. http://diaryofacodemonkey.ruprect.com/2011/03/18/ad-hoc-app-distribution-with-xcode-4/
This is the process I took:
1/ Setup a new provisioning profile under distribution. I selected Ad-Hoc, the correct App and my UUIDs.
2/ Installed the profile within Xcode 4.
3/ In xcode duplicated the Release Configuration and named it Ad-Hoc.
4/ Under Code-Signing made sure Ad-Hoc had the new profile selected.
5/ Edit Archive scheme and selected 'Ad-Hoc' Build Configuration.
6/ Select Product > Archive and made sure the profile listed was correct.
7/ On save screen selected 'enterprise distribution' and entered the App URL and Title.
8/ Copied the resulting ipa archive, plist and mobileprovision (downloaded in point 1) to our http server.
9/ Added the required html to and pointed mobile Safari to it.
10/ Selected the mobileprovision which installed without a problem.
11/ Selected the App which begins to install resulting in "Unable to Download" at about 90%.
I've tried several potential solutions from other posts but they all result in the same thing. This is used to work fine in Xcode 3 (using normal developer account, NOT enterprise) and as far I can tell I'm not really doing anything different so what am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
Try this: Open the Scheme you are using to edit it. Then check if in ALL the build phases (Build, Run, Test, Profile, ...) the Build Configuration is set correctly. If not set it to the correct configuration and build it again.
If this does not work ad a new Entitlements.plist to your project and add a new value with the key get-task-allow to NO.
Edit: Have you tried to make Product > Build For > Build For Archiving and then Product > Archive.
This worked for me.
we just had the same problem (and we still have it for one device only working on iOS5 Beta, not sure if it is related. All other devices work.), some tips that could help :
Apple dev site:
your provisioning profile could need to be renewed on the apple web site.
on the apple web site check that the device is linked to the provisional profile in the "Device" section. In the "provisional profile" section, the "Edit" feature could lie to you. To add a missing device to a provisional profile, go the "provisional profile" section then uncheck and check back the missing device (the lying part from apple web site ;))
in xcode:
I switched deployment target OS from 4.0 to 4.2
I plugged my iPhone and selected it as target before to create the archive.
this issue doesn't depend on the "team provisioning file", we could build a working archive with another provisioning file too.
If it can help too, I created a doc for distributing the Moodle app but it's generic to any app I guess: http://docs.moodle.org/dev/how_to_distribute_iPhone_test_app
