I have a series of different maps made with leaflet and R. I need to be able to display these maps somewhere that is accessible online.
The file sizes are too large for Rpubs, some coming in at over 120 MB.
I have tried Rpubs, too large
I have tried rediculous WIX websites and similar but they don't have the capabilities to show that.
I have tried emailing them, that doesn't work.
I need maps, online that can be accessed. Someone just please throw ideas at me, I have been fighting with this for 24 hours now trying to get my finalized maps to the person that needs them!

how are you. For a while I've been working for a Gynecologist building her a data base. For the project I am using Firebase and JavaScript. The database is for her to keep track of their patients and she keeps reports on each one of them. I am almost done with the job, the UI is almost finished, the core functionalities of the database (save data, delete, retreive, and update) are up and running but I am stuck in one little thing. She asked me for a way to turn those reports she keeps in the database into a format like PDF so she can print them and give them in case needed to her patients. The thing is that Ive tried with html2pdf, a git repository that works kind of clunky, and tried looking for others but I still cant find one that works correctly. So I wanted to ask you guys if you know of some alternatives. I started thinking about using EXCEl or Word document. But either way it seems quite complicated. Thank you for your time.
Best to all.
I'm trying to make an app chat that allow people to find stranger by distance, but i have no idea how to do this, only thing i know is show distance from two stranger using Geolocator , I'm very stuck and don't know what to do, I have no idea even though I've searched whole internet for few days. Two people from firebase database, and if they're both looking for stranger, and they are close to each other, bring them both into the conversation, like normal chat app for stranger, but with flutter, there are so little source to do this.
Please light me the way, thank you a lot!
You can use this package. I have used this to build real-time location-based image sharing before and it works really well

I have a point feature class that is survey monuments. I'd like to create a page for each survey monument that would have a a overview map showing where the monument is and a report on the attributes. Ideally I'd like to be able to insert photos that are attached to the feature.
I'm trying to determine what software would be best to do this, and any tricks I need to know. I have access to the following software:
ArcMap
ArcGIS Pro
FME
Geocortex
It seems like this should be a common type of thing to want to do, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it in any software other than using the Geocortex reporting tool. However, these aren't currently in our Geocortex site and it is quite cumbersome to get everything to a point where I can create reports there.
I figured this out. Not sure why I missed it initially. In ArcGIS Pro they are called Map Series and in ArcMap they are data driven maps.
Searching on those will give tonnes of information on how to do them.
I am looking into using Google - MyMaps as a solution for displaying data.
What we require is the ability to put up a number of layers that we can plot on a Google map that we can share.
I have tested this with some sample data and it looks like it will work for us, however the MyMaps limits are a problem.
We are likely to have layers with features anywhere from 1,000 - 30,000
I have reviewed the supported data and limits here
What I would like to know is how can we get around these limits and what are the options?
I am open to any solutions or direction that needs to be taken to be able to make this happen.
Many thanks
I don't think there's any way to get around those limits, other than splitting into multiple layers. There are a couple of good alternatives though:
Google Fusion Tables doesn't have this limit, but you might struggle to use multiple layers.
QGIS - Open Source GIS software which allows for free web-hosting on their QGIS Cloud for projects up to 50MB.
Having a DokuWiki with some content (regular to small in sice and depth) I would like to automatically generate a GraphViz or Freeplane or any Form of easy to grasp visualisation of my content.
Why? Because the wiki tends to become less and less effective, when searching and organizing its content. As a user I have no good way to get a sharp Idea of the Wiki structure, which is why more and more often topics are not written and found where they supposed to be.
How to generate graphical sitemap of large website is what I found so far, but because my wiki is not that big, it would be quicker for me to just manually make a graph. And because the main topics are not that often updated or extended (like 10 extension a month tops), it would not be that hard to keed it up to date manually.
However, I would like to avoid manual tasks, at least in the future.
So is there a plugin or any other good way to graph the contents?
starting on the landing page, following the internal-wiki-links
using the namespace-sitemap
Either one would be nice, 1. interest me a bit more, because it reflects the paths a user could go, when just calling the wiki-start-page. I am greatful for any help, thanks.
I wrote a simple tool to do just that, the graph can then be analyzed in Gephi. Have a look at this blogpost: http://www.splitbrain.org/blog/2010-08/02-graphing_dokuwiki_help_needed
