I know stackoverflow is not helpdesk for google products, but google helpdesk itself is not helpful so maybe someone else here shared the same problem and can help me to solve.
I've an app published on google play for the past 3 months
all the app stuff is properly connected, firebase->admob->google play console->adsense... everything was done during the previous 3 months
but last week, without any reason, without any update in the app or any settings change in these tools, firebase dashboard stopped showing the admob revenue
as you can see at this graph, it considers from 16th to 22th nov my app just made 0.17 revenue on admob
but on admob itself i've
the blue bars are admob revenue while the green is in-app purchases, so it keeps registering, the admob graph doesn't show the sum of admob revenue but doesn't need to be a genius to see its something around 70.00 way more than 0.17
I've checked in firebase->events tab and all events like ad_click ad_reward ad_impression are still being counted
does anyone have any idea about what might be?
AGAIN: THIS WORKED FINE FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS STOPPED WORKING LAST WEEK FOR A REASON I DONT KNOW
i asked for support on firebase but the guy just pointed me a couple of guides which i had already followed and didn't solve my problem.
https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/7378163?hl=en
https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/6387949
After 22 days I finally got google to admit what i knew since the begining:
IT'S A BUG ON FIREBASE
the link he sent is: https://firebase.google.com/support/releases
Again his is incoherent, if it is an error between admob->firebase data exchange what kind of sdk release will fix it? and why should i have an eye on it?
this interface is invisible an inacessible to all devs... as should be any fix on it
Anyway, if anyone else is having a similar problem that is the final answer from google

We have had this app on Firebase for over a year, and it just recently stop tracking IAPs properly.
The problem is, our ARPPU is the same value as our IAP totals from both stores. It's as if Firebase thinks the same user is making all the purchases. It's also happening to historical data as well. It doesn't matter how far back we look, the ARPPU is always the same as the total purchases. This was not always the case, it was working fine a few months ago.
Any idea how to fix this?
I just purchased a Firebase blaze plan (unlimited) but I tried to setup the daily quota as suggested in their documentation:
https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/quotas#set_spending_limits
The problem is that I can't find this option on my own console, there is no "Set budget" section:
I really need to setup this daily alert to avoid any bad surprises.
Why am I not seeing this option? Thanks
Well it seems they removed the possibility...
The documentation page (https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/quotas#set_spending_limits) has been updated and they explained:
Important: Cloud Firestore no longer supports new App Engine spending limits. After December 12, 2019, you cannot apply new App Engine spending limits. Spending limits set before December 12 still apply.
Now there is only the monthly budget left to use.
The budget on the Firebase Blaze plan is unlimited and there is not a single way to supervize it on a daily basis...
If available the Daily spending limit shows right at the top of the page, as you can see in this screenshot I just took of one of my projects:
Since this doesn't show up for you, you might want to reach out to Firebase support for personalized help in troubleshooting.
In the meantime, the closest you can get is by setting up billing alerts and then disabling (billing on) the project. While this is not a hard cap, and more work, it should allow you to get pretty close.
I've been trying to answer this question for months with the help of colleagues and even the Firebase support, but whenever I think I finally found the answer, it doesn't make sense anymore.
I'm trying to track the revenue we are making with our Search Ads. We use Firebase, and I have several events to track this with: in_app_purchase, start_trial + one for each plan and start_subscription. Start_trial is being triggered whenever a user bought a subscription, doesn't matter if he's eligible for a trial or not. If the user is still subscribed after 7 days, the start_subscription event is being triggered.
The in_app_purchase event is tracked automatically, but afaik they track trials with the value of $0 and subscriptions without a trial with the correct $ value. When I sum up the earnings of my start_subscription event, it's less than the iAP revenue. This doesn't make sense, as the iAP revenue doesn't even track the value for users that were eligible for a trial. How do you do this? We're not allowed to have the user id in Firebase without getting a consent, so all data is anonymous. My only way therefore is to fully trust the data I have right there.
Your help is much appreciated, as I think I'm going nuts.
EDIT: I really don't know what just happened right now but I was still looking over the dashboard for some other infos and the statistics just reseted! I'm sorry for posting! For anyone wondering, I think the quotas reset at 10 AM (EET)
I'm working on a work certificate in informatics and I decided to give Firebase a try with this project. I love it :)
Two days ago, when I started, everything was good. Yesterday at 8 PM I think I reached the quota for bandwidth (1GB) so I said, "ok no problem, I'll work on it tomorrow". Now today when I opened Firebase Console I still get this error in Storage: "You have exceeded your quota for this project. Please upgrade your plan."
I will leave here a few screenshots with my statistics. Can anyone help me figure out why my limits did not reset? PS. The error first showed up at maybe 8 PM yesterday and now it's 10 AM. It's another day but 24 hours didn't pass. Is this the real reason? I read on another StackOverflow question that it resets daily so I thought that at 12 AM it resets.
Thanks in advance!
You can see in this picture that on 15 December (yesterday) I have 1GB hit but on 16 December (today) is 0.
However, if I set the calendar to show me "Today" instead of "Current billing period" it shows me that the bandwidth was used today
So my question is, the quota is working on a 24 hours base or daily base?
read the fine print ...it reads 1 GB per day for Storage.
it does not tell when it resets - and might eventually depend on the zone & region.
try to use smaller files for testing purposes.
I have a weird problem with one of google analytics accounts and I'm hoping someone can help me figure what might be causing it.
Essentially, in the middle of the day, Google Analytics stops showing data. It will show me my hourly revenue till about noon and then the data regresses back to show only hourly revenue till 8 in the morning. This screenshot was taken at 1:30 PM today:
The hourly revenue will update again at around 4 PM. Its a very irritating problem and I can't find any solutions on google for it.
Let me know if I need to provide any additional information that might help you understand my situation.
Thanks for your help!
Is this something new? Because I'm having issues with revenue tracking over the last 24 hours.
