I'm trying to determine if AppDyanmics support Opentracing. I've looked in the app dynamics site and stack overflow but can't find a clear answer.
Thanks,
Carlos

From my current knowledge: no, AppDynamics doesn't support OpenTracing yet.
Usually, APM vendors have their own OpenTracing tracers build off the official specification and then get them listed at http://opentracing.io. But as of this writing there is no mention of any AppDynamics Tracers at https://opentracing.io/docs/supported-tracers/ nor https://github.com/opentracing-contrib/meta.
Full disclosure: I work for Instana, a competitor that does support OpenTracing.

No AppD doesn't support OpenTracing at this time. The question is why do you want this functionality when you can already extract custom data from transactions dynamically with most AppDynamics agents? Do you really want to hardcode your APM tool into your software application?
AppDynamics is building a unique way to support OpenTracing, which is currently in testing, but the approach is not by hardcoding libraries into the code. If you'd like to learn more please reach out to support, or you can contact me directly as I work for AppDynamics.
Thanks.

So I am doing a small project with my friends, and we are making like artlist.io website (ish) it needs to accept payments from users, paying members to have an unlimited download of our audio files, but non paying members should be able to listen to the beats/sound effects, just not have access to the download.
does anyone know how you would do this, and what plugin you recommend (does not need to be free)
I have looked over MemberPress and few others but no one from the support is willing to answer, and I don't want to pay for something that might not work.
hopeful to get some answers!
If I understand your question correctly, any membership plugin will be able to meet the requirements that you have. I've recently done some similar projects using MemberPress, and it's good. PPM is also a good choice. You might require some coding for doing exactly what you want. Otherwise, any membership plugin will do.

Is it possible to download the entire Microsoft Academic Graph? On this page they give a link but there are no download options there.
I know I can use API and I like it, but I am still curious about a download option.
I believe you can find the latest data directly in zenodo at: https://zenodo.org/record/2628216
https://academicgraph.blob.core.windows.net/graph/index.html
it's apparently not possible anymore via single dump, you'll need an Azure subscription and go through the Cognitive Services API
The Microsoft Academic Graph is available for free from Microsoft, but you'll need an Azure subscription (you can get one for free).
Please see documentation for the service at:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/academic-services/graph/
Please visit Microsoft Academic Knowledge Graphs (MAKG) for MAKG RDF Dumps

I have not been any usual documentation at all. I can't find anything on Elasticsearch.
I have seen a few blog articles and that's about it.
The Kibana 3 docs can be found here: http://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/3.0/index.html
Here are the documents on GitHub:
http://github.com/elasticsearch/kibana/tree/master/docs
In addition there is a nice open Source project called Stagemonitor.
Stagemonitor is a Java monitoring agent that integrates Kibana.
http://www.stagemonitor.org/
There is nice quick start demo.
In combination with the Spring Framwork Petclinic you can set up a Kibana Dashoard, call stacks and create individual Dashboard.
The documentation is good and its gives a nice overview.

I'm looking for an open-source framework for classified ads. It needs to be .NET-based, but I can pay.
Advanced features not really required - just need to be able to post ads for registered users in a private environment.
In terms of price, anything up to $1,000 is fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
MixNP is written in ASP.net C# and is a new addition to codeplex. It is free and open source GPLv3.
Looks good.

Microsoft have a starter kit for classifieds:

I'd think DotNetNuke would work for you, although it might be a bit of overkill for your intended use case.

I have searched through the net for the open source project of Document management system for asp.net, all I got was CMS.
Is their any Document Management System open source for asp.net?
I do understand that Sharepoint can do this task for me, but I am looking for a asp.net solution.
Have a look at sensenet http://sensenet.codeplex.com/
I am trying it at the moment as I am also looking for a .net/asp.net solution. It seems very promising. So far it seems like something I might be able to use. The only issue is the GPL license but am seeing what the deal with that will be. I.e. is you wanted to use it in collaboration with other software.
