User admin
An issue that some users have mentioned is that when they have entered their WordPress admin panel that they have been unable to locate their plugins menu from within the dashboard. This should appear about half way down the menu on the left of the screen below appearance and should have an icon that looks a little like a domestic plug. However for multisite users you may have to login as network admin to view this tab.
If however this tab is still missing you may wish to try the following:
See if the following exists:
http://www.example.com/wp-admin/plugins.php (where you should
replace example.com with the name of your site. If this does not
exist then it is missing from your theme and needs to be replaced or
you should swap your theme.
Also check in your FTP for a folder called wp-plugins where your plugins should reside, if this does not exist then you should create
it.
If you do have a wp-plugins folder deactivate it by changing its name and then check your WordPress admin panel as your problem could
be caused by a faulty plugin.
Are you sure that you are the admin and you have all rights to access?
Try checking with default admin login while you installed the wordpress, it seems you don't have complete permissions.
In your attached screenshot notification showing "Wordpress update available. Please notify administrator" clearly showing that you are not having the complete admin rights

I have a problem in my wordpress virtual store, in the main menu when you log in as a user you must deactivate the option to enter and register ... and show the user menu logged in as cart, orders, etc, this is duly configured in the appearance - menus option, but I can't understand why when I log in to the home page the menu keeps coming out as if the user was not logged in, but if I navigate to other pages like store, the mnu of logged in user, I appreciate some advice in advance, an additional fact is that I am using the Ultimate Member plugin.
I could already find a solution, this error is removed by deactivating the woocommerce plugin, when the elementor panel is active changes are saved with the update button and then the woocommerce plugin is activated again and if we return to elementor the error already It is not presented, I suppose it is because in elementor there were some changes in draft and in some way it was related to the functioning of the woocommerce plugin.
I have a WordPress site. In the plugins tab, the "Add New" plugin option is missing.
Even hovering over the plugin tab doesn't produce in drop-menu options.
I was suggested the issue could be the result of me not being provided with administrative rights, but I'm the only user and I do have administrative rights.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
If you can't see your add new plugin button, the issue could be
Your theme prevents you from seeing it
You don't have the permissions to add new plugins.
You have a corrupted WordPress installation
A plugin is hiding the button (likely unintentionally)
If you are certain that your user has administrator rights (which you can check in under users in the left navigation bar) try to select a different theme and see if the button becomes available to you again.
Otherwise you might be looking at a complete reinstall of WordPress on your site.
Somebody gave me their admin account of a website made using Wordpress. I can log into the wp-admin page of the website but the index page does not show the Pages section at all. The only things available are Dashboard, Jetpack, Profile, and Visual Composer. The dashboard gives the message that there is 'no activity yet!' Is this account not the admin account or something went wrong? Would appreciate your help a lot!
It seems like the user don't have sufficient permissions with which you are logging.
After logging in to the admin panel, open the page of the website from front end(not admin panel). On the top right you should get EDIT option, IF you have permissions to do so.
I've made a plugin for my WordPress and its working fine with the admin panel.
I've given a collaborator access to a user and that user can login with his details, he has limited options on the admin menu which he can use.
The plugin is not showing on that menu can anyone tell me is it possible to give users or a specific user access of that plugin?
i need help thank you in advance.
You can use the Adminimize plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/adminimize/ and you can set the privileges whom you need to show up the plugin when the login is successful at their sign up accounts.
I need to register an user only in the current blog. When I go to http://multisite.com/subblog/wp-login.php?action=register it redirects to http://multisite.com/wp-signup.php. If I register an user here then I have acces to all blogs and I don't want this.
How can I solve this?
Thanks
Do you have Wordpress Multisite setup? If so, from my experience I think that you need to login to the main control panel as the superadmin. After that, at the top of the sidebar in the control panel there should be a network settings button.
Click that, and from there you should be able to access a list of blogs in the install, and from there you can select an individual blog and add users from there.
The key is that with a multiuser setup you can access all blog settings from the one superuser account which might be why you're having the redirect issue.
