Oracle Primavera P6 refreshing the screen issue - primavera

I have installed Oracle Primavera P6 V17 and when I move the divider line between Gantt chart and activities some black lines appeared.
When I refresh the screen or click on the screen these black lines disappear.
How can I resolve this problem?

We all have the same issue. Usually clicking on a new activity is enough to right the screen. No fixes that I'm aware of.

Very familiar issue.
a) Upgrade to a newer version or
b) Install more memory or
c) Close memory hungry applications - eg. Teams.

Citrix mouse clicks off / not working High DPI / Scaling / Multiple Monitors

gonna answer my own question but this has to be more common and I didn't find anyone answering it. I connect to a lot of different clients running many backend versions of citrix and I try to keep my machine on the latest, resorting to VM's when i need a specific version (becoming more rare thankfully)
Anyway this latest issue I could use citrix light just fine but when i launched the ica file it would open and i could use the keyboard but i couldn't seemingly click things in the session and the i discovered upon closer examination that my mouse was offset when trying to click on UI elements in the session.
Resolution per this knowledge base article:
https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX230286
Was to set all monitors to the same scaling. I use 3 additional monitors to my surface laptop and the surface laptop defaults to 150% scaling and the others were 100%. I set my laptop to be 100% like the others and voila.
Things are really small on that screen now but i don't use it much and would much rather be able to run the citrix session properly on my other monitors.
Hope this is helpful.

Scroll bar on Mac RStudio blocks view of code

My scroll bar in RStudio keeps blocking the view of my code in RStudio, even as I try changing settings for Scroll Bar Behaviour in Mac System Preferences. It doesn't move or disappear, but stay put, overlapping and in front of my code. See picture below for example.
Solutions in other threads point to changing the setting for the Scroll Bar Behaviour to Automatic. However, since that hasn't solved it, for me at least, I wanted to ask you for advice on how to fix this.
I'm running macOS Mojave, version 10.14.6, on a Macbook, having just updated RStudio.
Based on some GitHub chatter here, sounds like this is bug between macOS Mojave, RStudio and some software underpinnings to RStudio called Qt. I hope RStudio will release a fix for this, but in the meantime a temporary fix can be achieved by
System Preferences >> General >> Show scroll bars: When scrolling

IPhone X Swiping up to switch app activates buttons at the bottom of the screen

We are currently checking if our app is compatible with the upcoming iPhone X and its new form factor and gestures.
We noticed a problem regarding the switch to home screen gesture where swiping up actually triggers the action on the buttons located at the bottom of the screen.
In our case, this is problematic, because our app is a remote controller for very high end amplifiers and the buttons located at the bottom of the screen are volume buttons..
See image:
Anyone here had to deal with this kind of issue lately?
I was thinking of some kind of event that could be triggered by the swipe up gesture and disabling the buttons maybe?
Thanks for your help.
So we finally decided to go for the safe area principle and stick our bottom bar to the bottom of the safe area as suggested by Apple.
It's a bit annoying as it adds a big empty space at the bottom of the screen but I guess every app having actions there will have the same problem (tab bar for example)
Here's the article I used:

If you found another solution, I would be happy to read about it.
Thanks.

Remove Universal Windows Platform Black toolbar

Might be a really stupid question but anyone got any idea how to get rid of the black toolbar appearing when running my application. I'm using Template10 as well.
That's buttons for debugging your application.
If you deploy your app and run it - your app will run without them.
Watch this thread if you want to manage:
How to remove the “Go to live visual tree” / “Enable selection” / “Display layout adorners” overlay when debugging?
There is a small button at the bottom of the black toolbar, which when clicked it hides the biggest part of it (in case you don't want to see it while debugging).

Unable to test game in game maker studio 1.4

My son is trying to create his first game using Game Maker Studio 1.4. We followed all steps in the book we are using (Game maker for kids). We now want to try to run the game, but it does not work.
Game Maker shows a Windows dialog that says "Open.." in the title and where you can select "Exe files (*.exe, *.ios, *.psp, *.win, *.droid)". I have no clue what file I should select here? If I cancel, I get a dialog that says "Compile failed, please check the compile window". But there is no error in the compile window, just a message "Compilation finished"
I am assuming you are trying to make the game run on Windows OS, so these steps should work for you.
(Clicking the blue numbers will dispaly and image relevant to the step)
1. Firstly make sure the platform target is for Windows and not a different platform as shown here:1 You click on the drop-down arrow to change the platform you wish to run/export your game too.
2. Now that we have that out of the way near the top left of the screen there should be a green play button. I have circled the button on this image to help you.2 You need to click this Green Play button.
3. After that Game Maker Studio will compile the code (this may take some time depending on how fast your PC is and how big the game is). You can tell if it is compiling if there is a loading box in the centre of the screen. Also remember to be patient as it could take a while.
4. If you have no errors in your code the game will successfully launch and you will be able to play it. If it didn't launch then Game Maker Studio will point out where errors in the code are to make fixing them easier.
I hope this guide helps and if you need any more help then just ask on the forms and I'm sure someone will be able to help you. Have a nice day and happy game developing!
On the GM:S settings (File -> Preferences) on the window view, press "check Windows sdk".
If it turns red => reinstall Windows sdk and Windows visual studio 11 then specify path.
Let me know if it solved your PB
In the Files -> Preferences there's a Temp directory box and mine was set to a dummy drive.
I set it to the actual Temp directory of my computer and now it works well.
