Initiate chat in dialogflow chatbot integrated in Skype? - skype

I have created a chatbot using dialogflow, then integrated it in Skype. Since there is no way to use Dialogflow to push notifications/send proactive messages, is this a way to make my chatbot send messages (notifications) to a specific user in response to a specific event?

Flutter and Firebase: Dynamic push notifications like Whatsapp

Most tutorials I've seen on the topic of notifications either broadcast notifications through the Firebase Console, or create in-app notifications that don't work if the app is in the background or is closed completely.
Is there a way to make notifications pop up dynamically using Flutter and Firebase even when the app is closed? Something like Whatsapp or Instagram notifications.

You won't be able to generate dynamic notifications directly from Flutter. Since to do this, the App has to be active. Usually you would send these kind of notifications from some kind of backend. Google Cloud Messaging exposes an API for this, which allows you to send POST requests to an Endpoint, and Google handles the sending of the actual notification.

Firebase push notification device to device

I am coding a React Native app and I using Firebase push notification service.
In my app, users can send message for each other and I want to notify them when they get message.
I found one way for native android I can code for react native it is not problem just I want to know if there is better way. I can make post to directly to Firebase service with using Http post.
This is the link which way I found: https://blog.usejournal.com/send-device-to-device-push-notifications-without-server-side-code-238611c143
I want to push notification to specific device without server, is there another way to do this?
Sending a message to a device with Firebase Cloud Messaging requires that you specify the FCM server key. As its name implies, this key is supposed to only be used in trusted environments, as knowing it allows one to send any message they want to all users of the app. For this reason it is not possible to secure send messages directly from one device to another device with FCM.
Instead you will have to run code in a trusted environment, such as your development machine, a server you control, or Cloud Functions. Your client-side application code invokes the server-side code, that ensures the call is authorized, and then calls the FCM API.

Is Firebase Cloud Messaging indicated for social activity messages

I need to handle social activity events in my web app application developed using Vue JS framework and Firebase.
I want to show to the user “Facebook like” notifications when some activity happen in the application, for example:
“John liked your post”.
Is Firebase Cloud Messaging useful for this scenario? Or do I have to develop some custom solution from scratch?
If Firebase Cloud Messaging do the job, is it possible to send messages directly from user web client?
You should not try to send messages directly from the web client. FCM is intended to be used via a secure backend where your code runs to send messages. The reason a backend is needed is to prevent your private server key from being exposed to the world, which can cause security issues in your app.
You will have to arrange on your backend to determine when events occur that should generate messages, and use the Firebase Admin SDK to send those message, or work with the REST API directly.

Can I send push notification without using device token

I want to send automatic push notifications to my clients who are installing my flutter application. Can I do it without getting their device tokens. I am using firestore as my database
You can send messages to client apps using topic messaging, but each client app will need to be subscribed to the named topic. You will not be able to single out a specific device without a device token.

How to implement Firebase Invites in my Android application?

I want to implement the Firebase Invite Feature, where a user can send a link which is unique to his/her friends and whenever the other receiver installs the app using this link my application recognize it and act accordingly.
Now I have searched quite a while about Firebase invite and I came to know that you can send the link only via email and android messages. However, I want the user to send via any other social networking app.
What approach should be followed while implementing this?
Firebase Invites is a UI layer to send dynamic links to other users through email. If you want to send the links with another service, you can create them directly using Firebase Dynamic Links.
