I have embedded Google map on my wordpress website. When i see page then it on map on top left corner it shows a box with location name, address, reviews etc.
Now my question is how can i hide only review section from that box?
Thanks in advance.
Based on the information you have provided in your question, I'm assuming that you have one static location that shows up with all its details, you can remove the review section using Jquery but that will be complex, why don't you use the Maps API. Also can you provide more details as to what you are trying to achieve ?
I'll be able to help you in a better way then.

I don't know if anyone else experienced the same problem, but I just don't know why article description is not visible on my feed page after sharing.
I used these recommendations for customized URL sharing:
https://developer.linkedin.com/docs/share-on-linkedin
i.e. my link looks like this:
https://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=http://developer.linkedin.com&title=LinkedIn%20Developer%20Network&summary=My%20favorite%20developer%20program&source=LinkedIn
If you follow this link, you'll see that the summary ("My favorite developer program") is visible in the preview. However, this summary is not visible in my feed after sharing.
The same happens if I use tag within page markup instead of specifying "summary" directly in URL
I'll be very grateful for your advice.
You can only choose one option:
Indicate an image with an og:image tag, and your image will display.
Don't indicate an image, and then your description will display.
Do you want both an image and a description to display? Currently just not possible. Maybe put the text of the description into the image? I have no idea, it would just be nice if they made their API work according to their own documentation.

I'm working on a Wordpress website for a friend and want to put a calendar on a page that when the mouse scrolls over a country for the country to light up and display some information as well as give the user some options to download a pdf about that country.
See http://us.fulbrightonline.org/countries/selectedregion/23 to get an idea of what I mean.
Just need to get a sense of what technologies and tools are needed to make something like this work. I know I will need to utilize an API but the hovering and attaching a pdf to each country is new to me.
You could try to use the Google Geochart API for your problem. It allows to create interactive maps and to capture click events. It also allows to color countries individually and to display tooltips. You can find more information and examples here: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/geochart
I created a plugin for WordPress that uses this API. It integrates all the needed scripts and allows to build a map from the admin panel. You can find more information here:

I am asking this question after spending more than 10 days, looking for information in books, youtube tutorial for php , mysql, javascript , jquery, and not able to get an answer or some feedback how to do it.
I am doing the search engine in my website and I would like to create the same effect as Google... once you type or input something in the search box the whole page will change from having the search form in the center of the page TO place it on the header of the page. HOW TO DO THAT???
Your search box is a form. Its going to pass that form data to a script, process it and then output the search results on a new page. You simple apply a different style template to the results page.
If this is an overly simplistic answer for your situation please give more specific information on the search script you are using and whether your website is hardcoded or generated via a CMS solution.
I have a question concerning Google Maps. On the contact page of a website I did include Google Maps. Unfortunately, when a user hovers (mouse over) over the pin on the map, a comment about a nearby restaurant is also shown. And more unfortunate, the comment is bad :P. How can I hide this functionality from the map?
See http://bullseyemedia.nl/contact and hover over the A.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Kind regards,
Reinder
You could use a static map, very easy to code.

That's a google tool you can add it from your adsense webpage.
If you have an adsense account the address is this one https://www.google.com/adsense/cse-settings
they "pay" you for using this kind of service
You can customize a google-like search engine for your site. Google itself provides this feature.
Here's a link:
