i am currently running robot tests using sikuli library(for a desktop application) on a virtual machine in azure.
I have problems with mouse not clicking intended image. and i get the error below.
[error] RobotDesktop: checkMousePosition: should be L(209,150)#S(0)[0,0 2049x1152]
but after move is `L(210,150)#S(0)[0,0 2049x1152]`
Possible cause in case you did not touch the mouse while script was running:
Mouse actions are blocked generally or by the frontmost application.
You might try to run the SikuliX stuff as admin.

Could someone help me how to solve this issue. i tried running the script as an admin and also checked resolution but still doesnt work.

That message is thrown usually because lack of privileges. If you tried running the program vía command line, try to create a new user with Administrative privileges. Later, execute the program with Shift + Left Click --> Run as ... and enter the new credentials. That should work.

I am setting up a PWA and trying to add a Service Worker using Work Box. When I type 'Workbox Wizard' in to the terminal, only the first question about the root file is being asked and then the terminal freezes and I can't type anything else. Please help!
This is a frustrating one that i am sure has a simple solution but i can't figure out which setting changed which is causing my javafx application not to launch.
The first javafx application that i ran on my workstation through eclipse oxygen worked fine. I imported a project that was prebuilt to display fractals and added "javafx/**" as accessible to my build path and i was able to launch it successfully.
Since then, I've tried loading other javafx projects to my workspace and running them with the same build path but nothing appears after i try to run the application.
I made sure to be in the class that extends application with the launch in it and that the build path is set but all i get when i try to run it in debug any javafx application terminates right away with the following exit code:
<disconnected>org.hameister.javafx.fractal.JavaFXFractal at localhost:49944
<terminated, exit value: -1073740791>C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_161\bin\javaw.exe
At first i thought it was the code in the new projects but when i try to run the original fractal project again it gives me the same thing.
Does anyone have a clue how i can fix this?

Update:
I reinstalled the jdk (jdk-8u161-windows-x64) and eclipse (Oxygen.2 Release (4.7.2)) and am working out of a new workspace.
When I debug the applications, I get a quick stack that displays:
-Daemon Thread [QuantumRenderer-0] (Running)
-Daemon Thread [thread-1] (Running
-Thread [WindowsnativeRunLoopThread] (Running)
Then the stack is empty with only the terminated exit value from above.
It's as though I hit some hotkey or button that is no longer allowing applications to visually appear. Console based Java applications run fine.
I have a BBB running Debian 3.18.13-bone70. I have made a Qt application that works great. I would like this application to run on startup.
Currently, I have made a script, placed it in /etc/init.d and made a symbolic link to it in /etc/rc5.d/S05application. This all functions correctly.
The issue that I'm having is when my system boots up, I see my application briefly (<1 second) before the CLI login screen appears and hides my application.
I've tried playing around with the startup script location (moving it to rc2.d, but the same issue persists.
I have a splash screen that times out after 10 seconds, and it moves on to the next screen. After moving to the next screen the application is never hidden again. I would like to see the splash screen the entire time and hide the CLI login screen entirely. How could I go about doing this?

I'm running Debian 7 using the Debian 7 image from http://elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBoneBlack_Debian from March 1, 2015. This is maintained by Robert Nelson, I'm not sure if it's a yocto build or something else.
Furthermore, it doesn't appear to be an X issue. I've stopped loading X, I no longer boot into the application and just sit on the command line waiting to log in. The system flickers at about the same point in time. Any thoughts?
I should probably also mention that I'm running it on a 4.3" LCD cape, not on the HDMI interface.
You weren't specific about your system and what else is running on it. For example, is it a yocto build and does it run the sato user interface, or is it more traditional X server with a display manager, window manager, etc? Either way, there is a session-specific file which directs what programs get launched when the Xserver starts up. Using matchbox, that file is .matchbox/session. With X, it's usually xinit, which is driven by .xinitrc or .xserverrc. Also, look at startx as another poster mentioned. The latter can either be in your home directory or /etc/X11. Depending on your system and configuration, likely one of those methods, customized, is what you're looking for. See man xinit for more info.
I am testing an application which loads a powerpoint (.ppt or .pptx) file insert it. Application gives same look an feel like powerpoint with some extra setting when the file is loaded inside the application. When I try to automate the application, I click a button to load the powerpoint file into the application. After the loading process white framework fails to continue playback.
When I restart the same test again I got "NonComVisibleBaseClass was detected" exception.
I can only continue my testing after restarting the entire application. Does anyone face this kind of issue? your answers will really helpful to continue my testing.

I stumbled upon this page after having the same problem. Although I'm not sure this solution may help you it helped me and maybe can be useful to someone else.
My WPF application needed to run with elevated privileges and if I tried to run VS without elevated privileges my tests broke with the aforementioned error. What I did was simply restar VS as Administrator and the tests started working.
One thing I noticed was that when I was running without elevated privileges the Window.Framework was 'Win32' and the Window.Items was empty. After running VS as Administrator The Framework propery was 'Wpf' and the Items list was filled correctly. I don't know what is the real cause of the problem here. But it worked for me and maybe it'll work for someone else.
Well i have an adobe air which runs vlc-player at background as service. i check that in Windows Task Manager , the service runs when air application launches.

now i want to close vlc-player on the button click event and i have searched the vlc- documents and found quit command and its syntax, it does not work as i have tried that syntax from windows command prompt also..
Which are the vlc-player commands that can pause,stop and close vlc-player??

I've had quite a look around and looks like this (--rc-fake-tty) can't be done from Windows command line. Which means your current approach is out.
I don't no anything about Adobe but I have done some searching around and this guy has something written in C using the libVLC. Not sure if that will help or point you in the right direction.
The other thing I found was this post Adobe Air and VLC player which mentions that you should be able to use javascript and ActiveX controls on Windows. A guy in this forum has a javascript script which uses an ActiveX control to start, stop, pause etc.
There is a VLC command that you can send to override or set certain hotkeys. Search for next, prev, stop, quit, vol-up, etc in this document.
That's the best of my Googling abilities, hope it helps.
I dont want to agree that your code runs well on windows, becasue --rc-fake-tty will not run on windows, to hide the entire vlc window (it will be listed among the processes in Windows Task Manager) use --rc-quiet but to see command window use --no-rc-quiet.
To stop and quit using p.standardInput.writeUTFBytes("stop" + "\n"); is not working for me as well.
