I am working in app which uses machine vision. The app identifies whether the image contains a apple or an orange . I need a way to check the texture in the image. The image is in form of byte[]. Thanks in advance.

As the question indicates, how can I take a image into account and scan it using QR scanner, Image is received form backend, practically i can return the image in any format to my app, So i thought i will send the image in base64, But question arises, is how to covert that image in any way to make it possible to QR scan it,
So i break down it into two parts,
Saving the received image.
Taking that image and QR scan it.
Searched a lot but all the libraries are pointing towards scanning the QR using camera.
How can I achieve this two parts, Basically am asking for suggestions,
Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I'm very new to web design and for one of my assignments i have to recreate the apple web page.
The issue is that I need the images on this list to be above the word, not next to it
http://codepen.io/kenthompson/pen/EaVWdW
so as you can see, i need the image of the macbook pro to be above the text, not next to it as it is. How can i get the image above the text?
I'm trying to decode qr-codes in a PDF (generate by Scan2Mail with a Canon iR Scanner).
I know the quality is quite poor (see attached image), but with every single iOS app for qr-code scanning I can successfully scan the code within milliseconds filming the image below with the iPhone cam.
I tried to scan with zbarimg and zxing but nothing did work. Do you have ideas what to do? maybe enhance the image somehow with imagemagick?
It seems counter-intuitive that an image of an image decodes, when the original image doesn't. An app is seeing a stream of slightly different versions of the image. The original is damaged and distorted. The blur that results when the camera captures it can actually help remove the noise. Yes, zxing decodes this fine -- from the Barcode Scanner app.
Try running this through a light blur filter first.
Is there any way to access the internal images that the iPhone simulator uses?
For example, if I want to get the original image used for one of the default app icons (e.g. Contacts). This way I could get the highest possible resolution, and examine it for purposes of creating similar icons for my app.
Another example of an image I might want to access is the default icon for a contact:
I'm not asking for a programmatic solution (although that would work), I'm asking for a manual solution, possibly navigating the Simulator's file system using Finder.
You can find the apps at e.g. /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator4.1.sdk/Applications. The icon of Contacts is at /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator4.1.sdk/Applications/Contacts.app/icon.png or icon#2x.png. But you can't easily read them, as they are in a strange format (it's not standard PNG), you need to convert them. See for example this article or this article.
EDIT: added two more links for iphone icon images.
You dont need to do this.
Just grab a User Interface Kit:
Heres a website you can go to to download the .psd files which you can use for your self for free:
http://webdesignledger.com/freebi
For another library of iphone icons. This one includes the contacts icon:
http://www.iphonestudio.co.uk/page/iphone_icon_gallery
And here are the iphone icons on the main screen made downloadable for your own use.
here are official icons in different sizes.
check the quality of the Photos icon.
wow.

Hope this helps.
Let me know if it did

I need to make myself walk in front of my Flash website. All I have is a movie with a white background. Does anyone know the process? Using Flash 8.
Working on the assumption that both movies are flash, Amarghosh is correct the best way would be to load the movie of yourself over the top of the existing movie.
So you would do this inside your flash environment as opposed to using css.
Are you talking about alpha encoding the video? You can use the Flash Media Encoder to turn that white background into a transparent background and then load that video (I'm assuming you have a video of yourself walking onto a white background?) over your swf to get the effect you're looking for.
The encoder should come with your install of Flash 8.
