How can I have template in "Create Task" (for bug reporting) in Phabricator? - phabricator

I want to have a template when people from support group want to add bugs.
Here is an example (https://github.com/photonstorm/phaser/issues/new) in GitHub that I want to implement in Phabricator if possible.

Phabricator supports customizing forms, including the 'create task' form. There are a couple of ways to go about it and they are covered in the documentation.
The simplest way to customize forms is to provide default values in the URL for the links you provide, for example, say you link to the bug submission form from your documentation. You can supply the template text as part of the link itself. This can result in long ugly URLs but that can be masked by using a url shortening service.
I'll use Wikimedia's phabricator as an example of how this works. If you want to make a link to the create task form with your template text pre-filled, you construct a url like the following:
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/task/edit/form/1/?description=[insert template text here]
The other way to do this, which doesn't require you to store the template text in the url, is to edit the form and specify a default value for the description field. Editing forms is covered in the phabricator upstream documentation so I won't go into that, instead I refer you to the documentation section under the heading creating new forms.

Customize content and export in a PDF

i have something planned and i don't really know how and what kind of technologies i can use for it.
I want to create a website where I can use a CMS system or manually create a template. I make this template available to the user and he can change or edit content in it. For example, if I define a div that takes 20% of the page. Then the user can color the whole thing with a color code. Or if I define an H1, then the user can insert a title there. At the end he can export the whole thing as PDF.
Or
I create a contact form with many fields. The customer can fill in everything, e. g. address, telephone number . . . he sends this form and I define internally where the fields have to be positioned in a PDF. And especially how the whole thing should look like (CSS). Is that possible?
Is there such a thing already? A plugin for any CMS system like wordpress?
I don't think that the first option will work.
You will need a form that the user will fill in.
You can use WordPress and a form builder plugin, such as Contact Form 7.
Now, regarding the exporting into PDF...do you have any programming knowledge?
If you can work with PHP, then you can use DomPDF library to export all data into a PDF file.

If you don't have any PHP knowledge then you will have to google and see if there is a plugin that does what you want. You may have to use a different form builder depending on that plugin.

customize simple search alfresco community 5

Alfresco simple search field searches on document content and folders as default.
Because I'm thinking of using a tag taxonomy I would like to default the simple search field to only search on tags without using the "TAG:" prefix and exclude content and folders. Content and folders can stay as a search option in Advanced search.
The default query looks like this:
cm:name cm:title cm:description my:authorisedBy
ia:whatEvent ia:descriptionEvent lnk:title
lnk:description TEXT TAG
Can anyone give me an idea how this query can be modified only to search on tags?
I'm going to assume that by "simple search" you're referring to the search box in the header bar displayed in Share. This is rendered by the Aikau widget alfresco/header/SearchBox and provides a number of options for customizations.
I think that your best option is going to be to extend the default widget with your own version and override the generateSearchTerm function. This will allow you to take the term provided (e.g. whatever the user has entered into the search box) and manipulate it with the additional advanced search text before it is used in calls to the search REST APIs.
This old blog post provides and example of extending a widget, however you should use the approach outlined in this blog post to add your custom package (rather than editing surf.xml directly)

How to create a user input form with WordPress?

I'm completely new to the whole WordPress scene so I kind of don't know the "WordPress way" of doing the desired task:
Create a form where a user would fill in some details (such as name, surname, upload a video or post a youtube iframe link)
Submit it, once it's done - an admin must verify that everything has been filled out correctly and after that the video can be seen on the website.
Should I write a plugin of some sort that would do that or how does it happen?

The Gravity Forms plugin allows you to do exactly what you're looking to do. With it, you can set up a form that creates a post and sets it to be 'Pending Review' in WordPress. This tutorial contains everything you need to know about what you'll need to do.
If you want to create a Custom Post Type (ie. 'User Page') to better separate user submissions, you'll need to employ this special add-on (as mentioned in the tutorial above).

How to create a custom form in drupal

I need help on how to create a 'custom form' using the same fields provided by cck.
Drupal gives you the ability to add fields to 'nodes' and how to theme their output. But I would like to be able to post a data from my own form (that pops-up) and sends data to the drupal database using the same drupal cck.
How do I access the specific form inputs to add data to my content types ? because the default form is kind of 'ugly' and loads on different page(without ajax).
Help would be much appreciated
There are several routes you could go down.
The easier option is to use the Webforms module. While this gives you similar fields to cck, they are not exactly the same, and if you have a module that implements a specific cck field type, it won't be available to webforms.
The second choice is to write your own module using the forms api. This can mean a lot of learning, add it takes time to get up to speed, but ultimately you have total control over how your form will look and behave. The forms api doesn't give you exactly the same fields, but all the tools are there to create them. Sometimes you need to hack open a module to find out haw a specific field is implemented.
A third option would be to use cck itself. You could create a content type and add the field types you want on your form. You would them give users permission to create but not view or edit the content type. The form submissions would them be nodes on your website. This would make me slightly nervous, so make sure all your permissions are correct!
The second part of your question: you can use a theme file to override the appearance of most forms and make them pretty.

One page wordpress template with subscription option

I'm new to wordpress. I have to create a one page template for my site and show a subscribe textbox on it with my own custom style. Later, I will use it to send monthly newsletters. What can be the simplest way to do that? I saw into some plugins like newsletter, subscribe2, but they are complicated and I don't know how to integrate them with my text box. They just provide some sort of widget to show on sidebar. Any tutorial or simple plugin? Please help!
You basically have three options:
a. Use a web-hosted syndication service as per the below. (Easiest to configure)
b. Install some sort of newsletter sending plugin for WordPress. (More control, but more configuration)
c. Use a web-hosted newsletter service like Constant Contact (Expensive and Ugh.).
Try using Feedburner with email subscriptions -- see: http://howtotechtips.blogspot.com/2008/05/create-feedburner-email-subscription.html. You sign up, supply your RSS feed's address, then copy-paste the resulting code where-ever in your template you like. Then, whenever you write a new post, your subscribers are sent an email.

If you are not heavy with subscription list. Then a good option can be using the MailChimp email subscription with its free option.
You can just install the plugin and place a function called mailchimpSF_signup_form() into your template's right place. And beautify it with your own CSS.

They also have widget to be added dynamically. How to use it?
