Am I missing something ?

Im trying to use linkedin API’s
In specific simpleJobPosting ( which is like i read in the documentation its an api that is used to create a post on linkedIn profile )
I followed all the steps ,, created an app on the linkedIn portal and got ClientId and ClientSecret ,, I’ve generated an access token and verified the organization that I selected,, also i selected the suitable scope before generating an access token (w_member_social)
when I tested it on PostMan I still got an error which is said
U don’t have enough permission to access Post/simpleJobPosting with status 403 and error code 100
I checked the documentation for the error status and said ensure that the header x-restli-method with value batch_create is present and i already included it in the headers and all the other steps
any suggestions ??
step1-As shown here i created an app and got clientId,ClientSecret
step2-i selected the suitable scope(permission)
step3-i've generated an access token
step4-verified the company that i've selected
step5-postman request details
I am trying to get all events of the group but the API return me AccessDenied.
The user is owner of the group (I have add it via add admin API).
While getting authenticate token I am using grant_type password and scope Group.ReadWrite.All (my request also contain username , password,client_id,client_secret,resource parametr as on body).
but when I sent request to API I can not get list of events it returs access denied.
Even I tested it in microsoft graph explorer it also return Access denied error.
How should I fix this?.
Getting Token Api - https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant_id}/oauth2/token
The API for listing events
https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/groups/{GROUP id}/calendar/events
Headers - Authorization Bearer {token}
The returned Error :
{
"error": {
"code": "ErrorAccessDenied",
"message": "Access is denied. Check credentials and try again."
} }
I've successfully secured my access token for the LinkedIn API. However, when I try to use it to gather user information (currently just my own so I know that the profile has all public settings) using this code:
requestURL = 'https://api.linkedin.com/v2/people/(id:{my_linkedin_id})'
headers = {'Authorization': 'Bearer' + ' ' + access_token}
a = requests.get(requestURL,headers=headers)
could someone elaborate on any steps I might be messing?
When I run this code I keep getting a
<Response [404]>
You have 404 as response and in LinkedIn documentation you can see that:
404 Resource Not Found
This error occurs when your application tries to call an API or fetch
an entity that does not exist. For example, the API to get a friend’s
profile is /v2/people/id={personId}, not /v2/person/id={personId}. In
some cases (Ads, for example), a 404 error is returned when attempting
to access a restricted API. See 403 Access Denied and contact your
partner technical support channel if you continue to see the error.
I think you need too check if your link to resource is good.
I am trying to fetch Gmail search results from Gmail API using an access token.
The following code works and returns an array of my email IDs:
fetch(`https://www.googleapis.com/gmail/v1/users/${userId}/messages?access_token=${accessToken}`)
I then try to append a search query following the Gmail API documentation guidelines
fetch(`https://www.googleapis.com/gmail/v1/users/${userId}/messages?access_token=${accessToken}?q=${text}`)
and it brings this error code: 401, message: 'Invalid Credentials'
Authentication scope is set to https://mail.google.com/ which assumes full control of the email. I tried swapping access_token and q parameters, as well as removing the access_token parameter but still no success. What am I doing wrong?
`https://www.googleapis.com/gmail/v1/users/${userId}/messages?access_token=${accessToken}?q=${text}
you are preforming a HTTP GET in this call. Additional parameters are tacked on using a & only the first one starts with a ?
try this:
`https://www.googleapis.com/gmail/v1/users/${userId}/messages?access_token=${accessToken}&q=${text}
I had tried to access my FB token using the preliminary code shown by pablo over here :
https://github.com/pablobarbera/Rfacebook
However I get the following error message :
Error in callAPI(query, token) :
An active access token must be used to query information about the current user.
I used this code:
fb_oauth <- fbOAuth(app_id="14025", app_secret="5fdb6ef5776",extended_permissions = TRUE)
save(fb_oauth, file="fb_oauth")
load("fb_oauth")
I understand that I am not having access using my token despite authentication completion. Could someone please help.
Quick fix is just remove type = "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"
from fbOauth.R in RFacebook package. Because now Facebook returns response in JSON format.
