Develop the openstack manage website like the original dashboard - openstack

I installed the HA OpenStack on 3 host machines, and them works perfect.
As you know, the HA OpenStack has a original dashboard, I can access from browser: http://44.118.44.1xx/dashboard, now I want to write a new website to do the dashboard's functions.
and I want to develop the site on my Mac, how to do with that?
I don't know how to connect with the original HA openstack's database(there are mariadb cluster).
because in the website, I will register the user(tenant), I will put the tenant information to the mariadb.

In Openstack you are not advised to connect to DB directly. Each services in Openstack exposes API(primarily it shall be REST API). Assuming you are trying to build website from scratch, you can use javascript or similar to call REST APIs. here is quick start guide for using REST APIs. You can fine complete list of services and its REST APIs description Here.

Cloud hosting for small hospital?

I created a hospital management app for small hospital. They wanted cloud solution, I would have used Amazon Web Service or Heroku , since I am most familiar with them.
This is the project detail.
1: The project has 4 MySQL database (separated from department and purpose)
2: I designed it using asp.net core Web API as backend
3: Front end uses Vue Js
4: Used docker and Gitlab ci/cd pipeline to deploy to test environment (Heroku free)
5: Max 50 users will access this system simultaneously.
6: website main operation is getting data and inserting data to database and some task scheduling for reminder.
Ok now my problem hospital management wanted economical, secure and responsive hosting provider.
Also needed database back up too.
While I would like to use AWS , it doesn't seems to be economical.
So what other options I have?
You can use godaddy / hostgator or other hosting providers which resale cloud hosting. AWS is not that much costly either if you are using it effectively. you require windows VM with MySQL database? I have worked with AWS and Azure. Azure seems to be good option too but for that need to know exact hardware requirement and scaling.

Host nodejs app and Wordpress website

I need to host 2 solutions. The first is a nodejs app which should be consumed using sockets from various client apps (mobile, website...). Then, a Wordpress website. Both must have the same database because data has to be shared between the website and the nodejs application.
So, which cloud provider can be the best to host these two projects ? Something like AWS or Azure (Websites, cloudservice, VM, ... ?), or OVH or Ikoula which are really less expansive.
Thanks!
I know AWS will work. I haven't really dealt with the others yet. I use AWS for quite a few projects and so far I've had no issues.

Create Azure Cache Programmatically

I am creating an application that automate the deployment to Azure Web Sites. I was able to create Azure Web Site, database and storage programmatically but I didn't saw any library out there that can create Azure Cache programmtically. Anyone?
Thanks in advance. :)
Whatever operations you perform on Windows Azure Management Portal is backed by Windows Azure Service Management API. I'm pretty sure that there's an API for creating and configuring caching programmatically but it has not been made public yet. I would recommend keeping an eye out on the REST API documentation page. This is where you will find information about how you could create cache programmatically.
Azure Managed Cache is in preview and hence REST API are not available for it. Also it can not be created from Portal. However, you can use Powershell commands to create it. Once created you can then manage it from azure portal itself.
Following command can be used for creating Basic Cache of 128MB.
New-AzureManagedCache -Name YourCacheName -Location "YourLocation"
For the detailed steps refer to - Create Azure Managed Cache from Powershell
So you can create .ps1 file or powersehll commands string which then can be invoked from your code.
Hope this helps.

Hosting java web application with oracle database

I have been trying to find out how best I can host a JavaEE5 web application with Oracle11g database. I have got my domain registered and currently pointing to my Jboss web application on my laptop.
I would like to host it for a while untill my application gets finished and ideally would like to go on hosting on a professional company server when I start getting increased traffic.
Firstly, to host at my home I want to use a separate dedicated server. Can you please let me know what options I have? Because I have no clue on what to purchase.
Secondly, when I want to go with a professional company server, which ones should I consider that supports JavaEE5 deployments and Oracle11g databases? Let me know if you need more details.
Personally I have experience with OpenShift. Free plan offers JBoss AS 7.1.1 and MySQL or PostgreSQL, but it's very slow (you might want to try these two my demo applications: personal site and e-shop). Paid plans looks for me too expensive here. This solution might be appropriate if you don't wanna configure application server and database.
Another possible solution is Amazon Web Services. There are such services as Elastic Beanstalk that offers you different servers including Tomcat, Amazon Relational Database Service that offers you Oracle Database as well as other RDMSes, and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud that enable you install JBoss AS yourself even if Beanstalk with Tomcat doesn't work for you. It looks like AWS is cheaper than OpenShift, but as for me, EC2 is still expensive. Check if price works for you. Buy the way AWS has a free tier the first year of usage that includes EC2 instance. So if you're sure that your project will long less than a year, it might be a good choice. ASW would be appropriate for you if you are ok with Tomcat instead of application server and you don't wanna configure application server and database.
Also I heard positive comments about Digital Ocean, but never tried it. It looks like it offers only infrastructure as service (like AWS EC2) so you will have to install and configure all servers yourself.

Windows Services in the Cloud

Im looking at writing a application for a web 2.0 start up site which will essential monitor specific RSS feeds.
Due to the expected up take of such a service I am expecting that taking advantage of cloud computing would be the way to do it, however with my lack of experience I do not know if it is possible to run a Windows service in the cloud.
There will be a web front end to this but it isn't imagined that that will have a heavy load as it will be just for sign up, then users will recevie notifications by SMS/Email
You can run a "service" in the cloud, when using Azure. It's called a "Worker Role" see the Architecture here.
If you're looking at running Windows Azure (which splits into a web role and worker role).
You'll have to sign up for an Azure key (The Bizspark pack includes one I believe) to get started, download the SDK and Azure tools.
It looks like you would only really need the web role for this, in which case it's just a normal ASP.NET / MVC site that you'd write as normal.
Essentially the benefit you'd get here would be being able to ramp up the number of server instances running your application by tweaking the config file.
The other option is the Amazon EC2 Cloud which allows you to instantiate as many instances of Windows2k3 Data Centre edition as you need. I run Windows Services, IIS, Postgresql etc. on such an instance with no issues.
Managed to find this link to publishing WCF services in the cloud. Im new to WCF so not sure if it will offer the solution I require, it probably will but I need to do some more research
