In DB I have a table (let it be Names), in project have DbSet Names field for that table. When adding row in browser it loads into project fine.
But when in project I do:
Names.Add(someName);
MyDbContext.SaveChanges();
It doesn't show in browser but loads next time in project.
If I add in browser another row it erase everything of what I have added from project and returns those rows what shows in browser only.
Is it bug a bug?
In a giagnostic tool there are also some errors. Mybe that is connected somehow:

Solved! The problem was that database file copies in bin/Degug folder and renew only if you made changes in root database file.

I have a problem with references to an image not updating in pages that are using that image.
This is the steps that the users are reporting
go to /siteadmin#/content/dam/
on the "new" dropdown menu, select "new file"
select an image file that is a different image but has the same name as a file that already exists
upload the file and when asked that a file already exists, choose replace
activate the file when the upload completes
The problem is that when I check pub I can see the image is updated, and if I navigate to the path of the image, for example:
pub1.mypub:4503/content/dam//my-image.png
I can see the new image I replaced the old one with
the problem is that pages that were referencing the image, specifically the image component, still shows the old image. I've check flush rules, checked workflows and nothing seems to work
The one thing I noticed is that in pages that are referencing the image the path is like this
/content//_jcr_content/my-component/my-component-parsys/columns/parsyscenter/image.img.jpg/1538602163986.jpg
so it seems the path it is using is like a generated path and not the same path as this one: pub1.mypub:4503/content/dam//my-image.png
im at a complete loss, I honestly do not know what else to check, has anyone ran into this and figured out how to fix it?
this is on aem 6.3
the problem is that in pubs the image being referenced in the component does not update, and since it does not update in pub, it never updates dispatcher
You can try activating the referenced pages after the image has been published. Since the page on publish has reference to the previous image.
I've just added a complication to my watchOS app. I was able to select it on simulator's watch face, but it shows blank items. Temporary all methods of CLKComplicationDataSource return nil. I've created a new assets group for complication, added all required .png images as specified here, setup Complication Group property in Xcode target, but nothing shows up!
What should I do to enable static placeholder images for my complications?
Configuration in Xcode:
The problem was that the .xcassets file with placeholder images must be included into the watch extension bundle, but it was included into the watch app instead. I spend all day trying to figure this out.
Is there a way to copy a complete page from one AppMaker application to another AppMaker application?
Unfortunately, at this time there is no easy way to do it:
Export source app (top left corner menu button -> Export(.zip))
Export target app
Insert extracted page file into target app zip archive in pages
folder
You may want to tag your last revision in target app before
re-importing to be able to revert to that revision easily (just in
case).
Import target app from modified zip (with additional page).
After importing you may also need to fix imported page: if it uses
datasource that doesn't exist in this app, CSS for this page isn't
imported, so you need to copy it manually from source app, etc.

In VS2015 I had an existing solution with one project ("projA").
Then, from another solution, I copied the files which make up four other projects to sit in the same directory as "projA".
I then opened the solution which has "projA" in it and used the "Add Existing Project" facility to add the four other projects.
The solution builds and everything looks happy.
However if, using Solution Explorer, I
go into one of the newly added projects (say 'projB')
select Foo.aspx from within 'projB' and
select 'Start Debugging'
then what I get served to the browser is not Foo.aspx from 'projB' but the 'Index.cshtml' from 'projA'.
I'm guessing (and 'guessing' is the word) this is related to the fact that 'projA' is marked as the startup project and 'projB' isn't ? So I read here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/a1awth7y.aspx that I can have multiple startup projects but I'm not really clear on whether there's some negative aspect to that ? Would it make 'projB' visible in a way it currently isn't ?
Or maybe I've got all that wrong and there's some other reason for this ?
I think you can set the behavior you want from the solution property page. So go to the solution property page then common properties then Startup project and select Current selection so that when you select a document from a project it will be the startup project.
I use the Remote File module for a cck field displaying a remote image. It works with a known issue: images are reloaded on every edit http://drupal.org/node/395256
And as i do tests with lots of nodes and delete them afterwards, the images cached in filesystem become deleted too. Is there a way to tell filefield(?) not to delete them?
edit
Meanwhile found http://drupal.org/project/filefield_sources which works very nice on manually created or edited nodes. But there is no way to make filefield fetch the image on assigning the url to the place where it shows up when i let print_r($node) show it to me.
See also my post to this (wont-fix)issue http://drupal.org/node/590756#comment-2774472
Yes, there is.
You'd need to create an interface between your node and the file so when you delete the node, the file stays in place. Effectively, you're just deleting the association, not the file.
Perhaps this module saves to the files table and the reference to the file exists already.
You could develop a third party module that stores all your external files and has a GUI or some other interface to select them again for new nodes
Or, you could create a specific content type and save the files as separate nodes. Then you'd use node reference to join them.
Alternatively, the developer of that module says he'll add features if you pay him. However he does not guarantee it from what I can see :)
