Xamarin.forms and Azure AD B2C - missing PublicClientApplication.PlatformParameters? - xamarin.forms

I've been following along with Mayur Tendulkar's blog post: Authenticate Mobile Apps Using Microsoft Authentication Library, but it seems like the article may be out of date with the current version of the library. (Latest version of Microsoft.Identity.Client seems to be 1.1.0-preview.
The code in the sample refers to an IPlatformParameters interface, and a property of PublicClientApplication, PlatformParameters.
Neither of which seem to be present in this library.

This has changed since the last updates. follow this link.
MSAL, this has been replaced with "UIParent". hope this helps

Ms graph API v1.0: HideForUser and a few other methods do not show up in .Net 5

though the docs here (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/chat-hideforuser?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http) said we could use them, with c# sample code too, but we don't see them at all after having added the sdk to the project. Note we are already able to add new chat with members and fetch messages.
a few others too that have same issue:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/chat-unhideforuser?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/chat-markchatreadforuser?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/chat-markchatunreadforuser?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http
is there any dependency or steps we missed?
resolved the problem -- somehow the version (4.34.0) I used was out of date, and the latest version 4.49.0 does have these APIs

Firebase Authentication on Xamarin.Forms

I'm new to Xamarin.Forms and I'm looking for an updated tutorial link or document that shows how to get Firebase Authentication working with Xamarin.Form or if someone can supply a GitHub link with an example of how to get firebase auth working on Xamarin.forms with Visual Studios 2019?
Note: I've followed the tutorial from https://medium.com/firebase-developers/firebase-auth-on-xamarin-forms-171432aa3d76 but it doesn't work.
I have this link for you.
https://evgenyzborovsky.com/2018/03/26/firebase-authentication-in-xamarin-forms/
Try it and let me know if it will be working or not.
this one really helped me, it is a perfect example

API documentation for Android SDK is not working

For the last couple of days it is impossible to access any documentation about APIs for Android SDK.
There is an error page with information:
"Unfortunately, the page you're looking for doesn't seem to exist."

The links have been cleaned up a bit, please update your bookmarks to: https://developer.here.com/documentation/android-premium/dev_guide/topics/maps.html

IdentityServer4.Services.InMemory not working

I google a lot but not find any solution. Below is my problem :
I make a simple project where I use reference "IdentityServer4.Postgresql": "1.0.0"
where "using IdentityServer4.Services.InMemory" works perfectly.
But when I use "IdentityServer4.Postgresql": "2.0.0" then IdentityServer4.Services.InMemory always shows error.
That means version 2 of IdentityServer4.Postgresql not support IdentityServer4.Services.InMemory.
How can I use IdentityServer4.Services.InMemory for "IdentityServer4.Postgresql": "2.0.0"?
Thanks in advance.
IdentityServer4.Postgresql is not a part of the IdentityServer project, but sounds like a community contribution. You may have a better result by contacting the library creator.
Otherwise, you could try the official IdentityServer4.EntityFramework package that is maintained by the IdentityServer team in combination with an Entity Framework Core database provider for PostgreSQL.
The official quickstarts only show adding Entity Framework in the 8th quickstart. You'll have to do each one in succession up to the eighth one to fully understand / make sure to have the code you need.
After you have Entity Framework added to the configuration, you can support a Postgres database by just adding dependencies.

Google Drive API - Example code is not working

I want to use Google API to transfer SharePoint Documents to Google Drive using dot net. For that to happen I want to use this link Google Quick Start.
I have followed every little piece of information. It states in beginning "Complete the steps described in the rest of this page, and in about five minutes you'll have a simple Drive app that uploads a file to Google Drive" but it is not true.
I am trying to run this sample example since yesterday but failed.
// Register the authenticator and create the service
var provider = new NativeApplicationClient(GoogleAuthenticationServer.Description, CLIENT_ID, CLIENT_SECRET);
var auth = new OAuth2Authenticator<NativeApplicationClient>(provider, GetAuthorization);
So it seems that this code example is outdated and Google APIs have been upgraded.
Here comes the warning
[Obsolete("GoogleAuthenticationServer is not supported any more and it's going to be removed in 1.7.0-beta. Consider using the new Google.Apis.Auth NuGet package which supports .NET 4, .NET for Windows Store apps, Windows Phone 7.5 and 8 and Portable Class Libraries as well")]
Another code
var service = new DriveService(new BaseClientService.Initializer()
{
Authenticator = auth
});
And the error
Cannot implicitly convert type 'Google.Apis.Authentication.OAuth2.DotNetOpenAuth.NativeApplicationClient' to 'Google.Apis.Http.IConfigurableHttpClientInitializer'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?)
Then I was looking for [latest release samples] there I found the source files.
I was not able able to run the sample also.
Here I was successfully authenticated but then had error for redirect Uri
My Client_Secrets.JSON looks like, as you can see I have set default redirect Uri to http://localhost/.
{"web":{"auth_uri":"https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth","client_secret":"secret","token_uri":"https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/token","client_email":email","redirect_uris":["http://localhost/"],"client_x509_cert_url":"aa#developer.gserviceaccount.com","client_id":"id","auth_provider_x509_cert_url":"https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v1/certs","javascript_origins":["http://localhost:53404/"]}}
Now I can run this application but as mentioned getting error
Error: redirect_uri_mismatch
The redirect URI in the request: [[http://localhost:2430/authorize/]] did not match a registered redirect URI
I really don’t know from where this port number comes and from where this authorize comes. As you can see in my JSON, I have not set anything similar.
I am using VS 2010 SP1 Ultimate and Windows 7 home Basic.
I have tried to give complete information and my end goal is upload document in Google drive.
The tutorial you are following uses an older version of google.apis thats why you are seeing the not supported. Here are a couple of tutorials on how it works with the new version of the api.
http://daimto.com/google-oauth2-csharp/
http://daimto.com/google-drive-api-c/
Take a look in https://code.google.com/p/google-api-dotnet-client/source/browse/Tasks.ASP.NET.SimpleOAuth2/Default.aspx.cs?repo=samples. It's a Task API ASP.NET sample. As you can see you need to add several lines of code, but it works.
I downloaded the samples Eyal mentions and got that compiling before integrating with my own app. .Net needs to be 4 although it states it supports higher.
You have to set the redirect URI in the google developer console, not in your JSON. In your case, you would want to set it to http://localhost:2430/authorize/.
