I run an artifactory pro cloud instance and I added OAuth github authentication.
It works fine but anyone can login that my instance, I didn't find any place/way to restrict only to users part of my github organization.
Any tip please? Maybe I'm taking from the wrong angle?
Thank you.
Answering my own question:
Well, there is a bug filled for that.

Sorry for this rather basic question, but we have the "social-media-auto-publish" plugin installed on our village website, and it was publishing to Facebook absolutely fine a while back. But then some new procedures on Facebooks end came into play, and it doesn't appear that the posting is working anymore. I have asked Facebook, but they simply said that they cannot help, and I should ask here instead.
When I try to connect the app, I get the below message back
Invalid Scopes: pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_posts. This
message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore
these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid
permissions at:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions
Now, we are a village (not a business) but am I right in thinking that only a business has access to these capabilities now? Or is 'Business Verification' actually a much more open thing for non-businesses to use?
Thanks for any advice you can give,
Dan
I've tried googling and going through LinkedIn/Microsoft developer documentation a few times over, however it is still unclear how one can apply for elevated API permissions (r_fullprofile) for an app or even contact LinkedIn customer support.
We already have an app set up and authentication/basic API access working just fine. It is still not clear however what the application process is nowadays and how to contact them. The partner program pages are no longer there, all the contact us links are gone from the site as well, and their docs and support forums are no help either.
I would appreciate any help or advice on how to proceed with this.
UPDATE: Just to clarify, we do have API v2 and Oauth working already. We need to know what's the application procedure to get the r_fullprofile permission and where can we apply.
The r_fullprofile should be available here under the marketing developer platform link. You will be asked to fill up a survey as I did a couple of days ago. Hope this helps.
I applied on 20 May and I'm still waiting for "Marketing Developer Platform" permission review.
Please, Could someone tell me how long it takes to get permissions approval?
I'm doing marketing for a client.
I'm helping them move their WordPress site from one host to another (from ventraip to siteground). Their domain is also currently with ventraip. I've already set up hosting with siteground (haven't cancelled ventraip just yet).
The question being, is there a way to make adjustments and preview the website on siteground before pointing the nameservers/changing DNS? I've seen a few tutorials but they are for other hosting companies and there is nothing I can see in siteground's knowledge base.
If anyone knows a general format or a better way, would love to hear your input. Thanks!
I think a nice solution would be to modify your local hosts file in order to preview your website using the current URL (which only on your machine will point to the new hsoting).
You can follow this guide by Kinsta, which works for every hosting: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/edit-hosts-file/
This is what I do and I am pretty sure it works :)
Here is also a tutorial specific to SiteGround which uses a temporary url: https://iamnickdavis.com/temporary-url-siteground-migration/ but I never tested it.
Hope it helps, cheers!
I just upgraded my Firebase plan to Flame, which also allows me to create a custom action link URL. In the Firebase docs it only tells you how to change it from their console, but not really set anything up from my server-side. Is there any tutorials or templates that I can use for this?
I can't seem to find anything.
Help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
Im testing something on a MojoPortal where i need to seperately add a Facebook connect button and make the user get registered with the website's registration! How do i do that?
This is a too late answer but it may help someone...
To login and register on mojo portal using fb, the easiest way is linking an OpenId, to obtain openId you must create an account in JanRain and setup a fb application for grant access
the seccuence is this mojoPortal-JainRain api- fb then the procees is forwback.
This is a complete tutorial Using socialmedia to login MojoPortal.
the only disadvantage is that the free account on JainRain limits the number of registers for month to 2000 I think. I hope this helps and sorry for my bad english XD
