I have a wordpress website, which is approved by google adsense. However, I decided to move it to a home web server now. What i did so far:
I created a localhost using xampp on windows 7.
I opened a port and linked the localhost to my router external ip. (I have not linked the website to my domain yet, so i access the website by its ip)
The webiste is running well now except for the ads. They show up when the website is on localhost, but there is only a blank space when i change the website url from localhost to my router ip address.
Do you have any ideas whether this can be fixed since i could not find any info about this? Thank you very much in advance for any information shared!
When you just created a new ads in google adsense you must wait a few minutes before they will show correctly on web page.

I finally found the problem.
When I was inspecting the page with google. I saw some objects like wp-config.php is not working, It have a message of resources can not be loaded, connection refused so I change the address url and site url on the wordpress configuration to my domain, and I enter on the web server(ubuntu) a entry for my domain in /etc/hosts with the local ip of my webserver
I'm experiencing a weird behavior on my site. I hosted a Vue ssr application on a Digital ocean droplet, I have my domain name registered with Godaddy. The Godaddy domain name was first of all pointing to a different server, I then change to dns of the domain to point it to the digital ocean droplet. Every was working fine but it stop working on it's own after some time. The domain, example.com, was now displaying a page with a red car on it (that's not my website), and the sub-domain vuejs.example.com, was loading a blank page.
I disconnected from the wifi network I was using, xxx, and connected to an other wifi network, yyy, the site works perfectly with the yyy network but
still didn't work with the xxx network.
This morning when I got up I tried accessing the site again with the xxx network and it worked but the vuejs.example.com sub-domain doesn't still work. When I open the sub-domain I get a blank page but the title of the vuejs application and the favicon are displayed normally.
Note:
1: If I change the network, the sub-domain where my web app runs will work perfectly (vuejs.example.com)
2: Using xxx network, all other sites open, so the problem is not with the Internet connection
3: I asked to friends to try to access the sub-domain, vuejs.example.com, where the vuejs app is hosted; those who accessed using the same internet provider as xxx network also had the blank page. Those who used different internet providers could open the vuejs app with no problem.
I'm sorry for the english, please let me know if something is not clear. I hope I can find a solution here.
**Edit: ** I have just noticed that certain files could not be loaded on this network but I don't know why.
All the files with response 304 are not loaded.
I am doing a work from home web development internship. I was asked by the recruiter to make a website on WordPress. I have done the work but the site is hosted on the localhost as of now. How do I show it to my recruiter in order to get the weekly feedback on my work? I have never worked on WordPress before. Is there any way out?
You are in the same network then you can follow these steps to show your site to someone.
go to Admin Panel > Settings > General and replace your localhost with your ip-address for WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) and see if it works. Also, don't forget to put your WAMP/XAmpp server online.
Reference
If you are not in the same network then you should use Skype or TeamViewer to show your site.
I recently setup a wordpress website on IIS.
I configured the website and it is working on the local machine. I can browse pages and get to the wordpress admin.
I also configured IIS with the correct site binding, host name and ip address.
However from the internet I can not reach the website. It's as if the wordpress site is not listening to or IIS is not passing along traffic from the internet. And just to make sure it wasn't an issue with IIS. I setup a second website on that server that is accessible from the web. That one is working.
Any anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.
After doing some testing.
In this case. The wordpress site would not respond or map to the correct domain name on the main ip address of the server.
After adding a second IP address on the nic card and mapping that in IIS the website worked properly.
It was a very strange situation. It should of just worked on the main IP. But it didn't. shrug.
I set up my blog with wordpress cms few days ago and it was working fine, url is blog,I also noticed that it only happens only on few network connection.for e.g.: it works fine on my mobile data pack and wifi connection but in my office it got redirected to some other web page.
How and why it is happenings have already checked .htaccessand dns
and found nothing suspicious.
Seems to be working correctly. Check with your office's network administrator.
Additionally, scan your files for any spam injection.
