I have this really bad issue, because I can't find, how to solve it. As you can see, I've loaded some random video, but there's nothing showing. Maybe it has something in common, that I'm using Widows Insider builds.

Have you clicked on timeline bar after dargging to timeline. Click once again on timeline or in frame appeared in PINK COLOR (in your screen shot). See whether Preview is visible or not. If still not, reply. I hope it will solve your problem.

when in the Magnolia UI a click/double click on a node provokes a redraw of the UI. That wouldn't be bad if after the click the focus would still be the same but instead your are being thrown to a random node as the focus. Its frustrating to work with because with a big structure like we have, for every click you need to scroll and look again for the node you want to work with.
I googled extensively but have found no clue how to fix this behaviour.
It happens in Chrome 56.0.2924.87 as well as in Firefox 52.0.2 (64-Bit)
Any idea would be welcomed, this is really annoying.

this has been fixed since 5.5.2. Please try to update and see if that works for you.
If unfortunately that's not the case, please feel free to report it to Magnolia.

I am adding a YouTube video to a wordpress site using the 'visual composer' video player from WPBakery. I cant really post the site because its private. But I am new to 'Visual Composer'.
I added the relevant you tube video to a 2 column 'row' on the right using the VC video player. It all works fine on desktop, but as soon as you narrow the browser so its in 'responsive' mode like the width of a mobile/tablet lets say 700px the you tube video stops working...
You can see the YouTube background image but you cant rollover with the mouse to start/activate the video, almost as though the video itself is not present and only the holding image.
Does anyone know how to configure settings so you can activate the video on mobile/tablet as well? As far as I can see I have not tabbed 'hide on any device' so any help would be welcome. It maybe that its a fault with the theme but as I am new to VC am hoping there is some setting that will solve the issue.
You can re-enable the video by adding the following css to the page:
.vc_video-bg.vc_hidden-xs {
display: block !important;
}
I finally found one solution that worked for me and I hope this might work for someone else as well, so here I go:
I used Revolution Slider and created a separated slider for each "div" element I wanted to have with a background video in fullscreen.
Then I added one video layer, choosed the source type and inserted ID of video.

I'm developing a MEAN stack application. I have a very rare glitch that makes my site unusable.
I have make video to illustrate what is happening.
Things to take notes about:
The glitch is solved when I hover over the tab name, or when I move to another chrome tab and I return here.
Could you tell me if you have seen something like this before?

I am experiencing the following (strange) bug:
When my site is seen on iPhone 4 (haven't tested on 5), an extra "Search web" bar appears when scrolling up and down. It slows down the browsing dramatically. It happens on both Safari and Chrome. It doesn't happen on other sites on the same device (so it is not a problem with the phone itself or its browse).
I cannot find any similar reports on the internet.
Has anybody seen something like this?

Try hiding the search bar within your website (header-search) and see if the problem still exists (just to test to see if its your own searchbar that's causing the problem).
It was some sneaky code added by a plug-in.
More specifically: Sweet Captcha used a code connected to Errnio to monetize
I removed the plug in and it's gone

Ok, not really seeing any previous help for this one specifically. What I want to do is have a "hover" effect for the close button. I have got it to where when you hover over the the close button itself it will display and go away when you move the mouse out. But, what I want is when you hover over the image being displayed in the lightbox I want the close button to display and when you mouseout I want the close button to disappear.
Also, some pointers for using the transitions effects or sources for that would be good. I am still a student working on portfolio pieces. I graduate in August 2013.
