Exceptionless.extras error in VS2015 using vb.net - asp.net

I have been programming a web forms application using VS2015.
All of a sudden an error form starts popping up for Exceptionless.Extras has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Then asking me to send to submit a report Exceptionless.Extras Error dialog image
To my knowledge I have not added any packages for this control. Checking Tools and NuGet for Exceptionless shows nothing installed
How do I get rid of this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I work for CodeSmith Tools on CodeSmith Generator as well as the Exceptionless Project. This could be caused by an unhandled Visual Studio exception that's being picked up by the CodeSmith Generator add-in or a third party add-in which uses Exceptionless. If you have Generator installed. I'd recommend submitting the exception with your email address and contact support and we'll take a look into the exception. Also, we can let you know how to disable this dialog if you have CodeSmith Generator installed.

Simple Website not building

I am new to ASP .Net programming. I know C,C++ and C#. I have got the book named ASP.Net 4.5.1 in C# and VB by Imar Spaanjaars.
I have got Visual Studio 2013 ultimate installed as well.
What is bothering me ?
I did exactly as the author told and I getting the errors when building
error. See screen shot.
Any help would be much appreciated.
It seems your project misses some dll in the project bin folder. Could you please check?
Otherwise it may be that you need to configure Nuget, in order to download automatically those missing packages.

Visual Studio 2013 debug not stepping in

I am developing a web application on Visual Studio 2013. On older versions, whenever there is a bug in the web app, I moved from the browser to the visual studio to the line where the code is.
Now, whenever there is a bug, I just see it in the browser without being able to see it in the Visual Studio. As if the debugger is not able to step into my code.
This has been going on for all my web projects which makes me feel that it is a setting in VS but I am not able to locate it.
can anyone help?
I was able to find out what was wrong here.
it seems that for some reason, under Debug in the main menu and under Exceptions, nothing was checked! I checked ALL "Common Language Run-time Exceptions" and it worked for me.
However, you need to spend sometime there in the debugging list. If you enable ALL, you will get all sort of exceptions captured.

Visual Studio 2012 Error

I use Visual Studio 2012 on a Windows 8 PC. I had no problems when installing VS2012.
When I'm working on a ASP.NET c# project I usually use the option "See in the explorer" instead debug the project. This gives me the ability to change code behind.
Sometimes after build and press F5 to reload the page I get some errors. This doesn't happend always, but very often.
The errors are: CS2021, CVT1100, CS1566...
"Can't find file 'C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root\617be439\61539075\App_GlobalResources.iuxkzxdi.0.cs'"
Always the "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root" is the problem. Sometimes it says can't find file others it says access denied.
Visual Studio works but is horrible to keep pressing F5 until the error goes away.
Can anyone help me?
Run VS2012 as Administrator. Local account by default have restriction accessing the build/temporary locations and will throw such errors. You'll have similar problems when trying to publish websites.
Therefore, It is easier to set VS 2012 once, and check the box in properties to "Run program as administrator" to allow it run always as "Administrator".

Compiling ASP.NET

I'm compiling ASP.NET code for the first time ever and I'm stumped.
I downloaded MINGW-Get and just finished installing it. The client gave me the source code and I found a file called RSConfig.exe.
So I assumed that was the config file, ran it, and then tried "make" but got the error
No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop
Any idea what I'm supposed to do? I don't see anything that would resemble a makefile in the source code.
Thanks in advance!
Do yourself a favour and install Visual Studio Express:
http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/express
It makes development easier and fast
It sounds like you might want to get familiar with the background concepts around asp.net and it's defacto development environment Visual Studio (there are many versions of visual studio).
As Andrei recommends, using Visual Studio Express is a good free way of getting started. The version most suited for web development is Visual Web Developer Express.
Attempting to compile .net code from a toolset such as MinGW isn't a typical route for using asp.net, however I've not used MinGW before and not sure it's possible to compile .net code from it.... Although it is perfectly possible to compile .net code from the command line (using the .net framework sdk) , I certainly wouldn't recommend it if you are getting started.
I'm going to make a guess that it is an ASP.net web forms project, it being the most prolific asp.net project type at the moment.
This official asp.net site http://www.asp.net/web-forms will guide you through what web forms are and how to get the development environment setup. Having this sort of background will aid you in solving your particular situation.

The custom tool 'msdiscocodegenerator' failed

I get this error when attempting to reference a Web Service in my Compact Framework application. Hunting through Google seems to indicate it's a common occurance, but there's been no useful suggestions as to what causes it, and how to fix it. I can successfully access the web service from a WinForms application by adding a Service Reference but the CF project only has the Web Reference option.
I am running Visual Studio 2008 on Vista.
Has anybody actually solved this problem after encountering it?
Thanks
Bill
Maybe yes... I forget as it was over a year ago. I needed to use a WCF service (presented as a web service) on CF 2.0 device. But I had issues with generating the wrapper.
What I think I did in the end was do it on the desktop and then copy that generated code into the device project. I had to remove a few bits to get CF compatability but it worked in the end.
Sorry for being so vague but my memory is like that sometimes. :)
This issue has been identified as BUG from Microsoft and fixed in latest version of visual studio. you can install VS 2013 and try. It was working properly after I upgrade my Visual Studio to 2013 version.
