Can PywinAuto + Robot Framework be used to automate Windows GUI apps and command line emulator based apps

I am new to pywinAuto and Robot framework. I want to know if Robot framework along with PywinAuto can be used to automate the windows GUI based applications and also commandline emulator based applications ?
I really appreciate if i get some quick reference guides on this .
The only way you can use the PyWinAuto in Robot Framework is by writing your own libraries with your desired action and importing in Robot Framework.
Below is the information about how the library structure for importing in Robot

When you do that the Function Name will be your Keyword in Robot Framework.

Testing QT QML application using scripting language

Is there any other way to do automation testing to a QT QML application or read the elements of QT and control it from an other application without squish or any licensed tools?

Alljoyn Studio Watcher class not generated

I'm developing a consumer app using Alljoyn runtime libraries generated using a interface XML, for some reason visual studio doesn't create the watcher class using the Alljoyn Studio, Ive got producer and consumer but no watcher. Is there a problem with my interface xml (to check I used different XMLs but this is not working for me), how do I check for devices on the d-bus, is there another way? if not can someone please help me how to fix this problem, to generate the watcher class?
P.S. I'm using VS Enterprise 2015 with updates on Windows 10
It seems that some changes made to AllJoyn Studio, so you can't get watcher class by visual studio. You can use AllJoynBusAttachment.GetWatcher() instead.
This is the original answer.

What is the easiest and least expensive way to make an ASP.NET MVC project on a Mac?

I've made ASP.NET MVC projects on my work PC, and I have a Mac at home and want to be able to dink around in my free time. I downloaded Visual Studio Code (https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/ASPnet5#VSCode) to try and do this, but I got stuck at part of the instructions and I'm not sure it's even possible to deploy it from there to Microsoft Azure. I also don't want to have to download Boot Camp and Windows, if possible. Are there any options?
I have been in the exact same position as you, unfortunately there is little that we Mac users can do. As ASP.NET was developed by Microsoft they left little room for compatibility with other platforms
Installing Visual Studio Code is the only option for Mac however, all is not lost for we have Git! If your not sure what that is; Git is an open source distribution system which is freely available for anyone to use, allowing others to access and even edit your code.
To get back onto the topic at hand, VSC uses Git repositories to push your source into the Azure platform. Take a look at this site:
http://docs.asp.net/en/latest/tutorials/your-first-mac-aspnet.html
This is some instruction for ASP.NET development specifically for Mac mainly, it tells us how to activate the Git functionality and how that incorporates to Azure. Hopefully it helps you figure out your issue!
Found these two interesting articles using a combination of Yeoman and Kestrel:
Develop ASP.NET vNext applications on a Mac
Your First ASP.NET 5 Application on a Mac
Basically, you can use Yeoman to get the project scaffolding, VS Code or Sublime Text to edit source code and Kestrel to run your project.

Flex/Java application

I want to build a website that uses Flex/Flash as the GUI, and Java for the business tier, all to be deployed on Glassfish.
Not having done this before, I am wondering how the overall development/build process works.
Flex has an IDE, and I am wondering would I also develop the Java part of the application in the same IDE? Or, do I make the Flex part in the Flex IDE, and the Java part elsewhere, and somehow make them work together?
And, regarding deployment, what are the general pieces involved in this type of application.
I am used to a java website being an EAR or WAR, does the Flex part get built into the EAR/WAR, or is it a separate thing that is deployed independently from the Java artifact?
For the build process, does one build the Flex part separately from the Java part, or can they be built together, i know this is close to the previous question about what pieces are deployed in a Flex/Java application.
Just looking for big picture type answers to get an idea of the development and build process when building a web application.
For our project, we have our Java and Flex code separated by project. When building and deploying our project, our Flex code builds and puts the swf into the web directory of our Java code. The Java code is Warred and deployed through Tomcat.
Many developers use Eclipse with the Flex Eclipse plugin for Flex-Java projects.
