R : issue in installation of Shiny package - r

I am using R studio 0.97 along with R version 3.1.2. I keep getting the following issue:
Warning in install.packages:
unable to move temporary installation '...\My Documents\R\win-library\3.1\file14984b915ea3\shiny' to '...\My Documents\R\win-library\3.1\shiny'
I have already tried installing Shiny package with same version R in another system and it installed perfectly.
Any specific thing that I should know of? Please suggest any fix for this.

D3heatmap not found for R Version 4.0

I'm trying to install an old package I had in RStudio for an old version of RStudio but I get the following:
Warning in install.packages :
package ‘d3heatmap’ is not available (for R version 4.0.0)
I'm trying to install d3heatmap but ever since I upgraded to 4.0, I can't install it. I'm thinking I have to install an old version of RStudio. But I want to verify if d3heatmap is still available and what versions it still works for but I can't find any information on it.
Anyone able to help me out?
you can downloaded the zip file here (https://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/Archive/d3heatmap/)
and run this code in Rstudio
install.packages("d3heatmap_0.6.1.2.tar.gz",repos=NULL,type="source")

errors when installing older dplyr package in R

Im a bit new to R and need to use/adapt someone else code in R.
My supervisor uses R version 3.2.2 with the dplyr package version 0.4.3 (to overcome errors and problems with the original code).
I tried to install the older dplyr package with different methods:
- installed devtools package and then used the url devtools::install_url("http://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/Archive/dplyr/dplyr_0.1.2.tar.gz")
- manual installation (where I downloaded the file and tried to install it.) Installation seemed to have worked but when I run the code it gives a fatal error massage
Every way I've tried so far either gives a lot of error messages or a fatal error and shutdown.
When using help ?dplyr it gives a pop-up that there is an error. Does anybody have any other ideas to install this package?
Thanks!

ggplot2 version 1.0.1 won't load into R 3.2.2 for Windows

I just started using R and downloaded ggplot2
install.packages("ggplot2")
I get the following warning:
Warning in install.packages:
unable to move temporary installation '\\CHI-FIlE-01\UserFolders$\naresh.kavuri\Documents\R\win-library\3.2\file27ac2d3b613c\ggplot' to '\\CHI-FILE-01\UserFolders$\naresh.kavuri\Documents\R\win-library\3.2\ggplot2'
This warning is followed up with this error:
Error: invalid version specification 'NA'
In addition: warning message:
In utils:::packageDescription(packageName, fields = "Version") :
no package 'knitr' was found
As anyone come across this problem before? Did I do something wrong in the setup?
If you have multiple versions of R running, and you try to update or reinstall a package in one version of R while it is loaded in another, then the old version of the package doesn't get completely removed.
Try closing down all instances of R, manually deleting the folder containing the package, then opening a single version of R and reinstalling.
As Pascal commented, antivirus file scans can also interfere with the installation process. Sometimes downloading the package zip/tar.gz file then installing from disk can circumvent the issue.

Can't install any packages in R

Title says the core of it. I've been wanting to learn R and I thought that swirl sounded nice. I can't get swirl to install, so just as an experiment I tried another package. I get the same error message. I'm getting this in both R and R Studio.
My input and error message are here:
install.packages("swirl")
## package ‘swirl’ is available as a source package but not as a binary
## Warning message:
## package ‘swirl’ is not available (for R Under development)
The first time I tried it I did get to chose a CRAN mirror, but otherwise I've been just spinning my gears.
I'm on a Mac and running OS X Yosemite, I tried looking for any issues similar to this and I am stuck. Any help is appreciated.
It looks like you're using a bleeding edge version of R ("R Under development").
Downgrade to the latest stable version and you should be fine.

I am trying to install package manipulate : message = not available for r 3.1.1

windows 7 -pro
r studio 0.98.945
r 3.1.1
I am trying to install manipulate:
install.packages("manipulate").
Warning in install.packages :
package ‘manipulate’ is not available (for R version 3.1.1)
is this package not available or is something wrong in my machine or how to get it ?
thanks for all update/help
best regards, Guy Przytula
It's not on CRAN. It's usually installed as part of the RStudio install process. I'd suggest to re-install RStudio.
Another possibility is offered by the RStudio support:
1.) The easiest workaround is to just install the package manually from its location in Program Files - you can zip up the C:\Program
Files\RStudio\R\library\manipulate folder and install it using
install.packages() - this will get the manipulate package installed
and running.
If that doesn't solve your issues, you should post at the RStudio support forum.
