Rencently I find a Palmer Drought Severity Index (PDSI) calculation package written by cszang from GIthub. According to the website https://github.com/cszang/pdsi, the install is very easy:
install.packages("devtools")
library(devtools)
install_github("cszang/pdsi")
However, when I install it, an error occurs like this:
Error in curl::curl_fetch_disk(url, x$path, handle = handle) : Couldn't resolve host name
Does anyone know about this issue? Thanks a lot.
Github is currently down, probably from the DDoS attack currently affecting a bunch of sites including Twitter, Spotify, and more

When I load the vega-lite data sets using
(vega:load-vega-examples)
I get the following error:
Could not REQUIRE CL-DATE-TIME-PARSER: circularity detected. Please check your configuration
However, the examples appear to have loaded.
Also, before I installed cl-date-time-parser in quicklisp, I was getting an error message similar to:
Do not know how to REQUIRE CL-DATE-TIME-PARSER
Does anyone know how to get rid of these errors?

The IMDB example requires cl-date-time-parser. I suspect that problem is that (require ...) only works when the library is in a location known to ASDF. In a new installation, this may not be the case. Now reported as issue #19.
Try loading the library with quicklisp and then rerunning load-vega-examples.
I wrote a script for downloading and analyzing 13F filing from a select number of fund managers using the great package edgarWebR in R. Unfortunately the script stopped working after my update to version 1.1.0 of edgarWebR. I get the following error message whilst running this part of the script:
map(filings_incl_href$href, filing_details)
filings_incl_href$href contains the hrefs of all the fund managers 13F-filings, e.g. the first one is: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1540531/000154053121000004/0001540531-21-000004-index.htm
Here's the error message:

Just installed the package to reproduce the error, unfortunately can't be able to reproduce it. However, a potential solution along "error 403 and
API rate limit exceeded ..." could be to add your github authorization token in your .Rprofile and that is what the "But here's the good news:" message inside the bracket is trying to inform you. Have a look at the actual project github site Dash for R if you haven't already. That might as well provide you an input to solving the issue.
I updated my Mac to OS10 and attempting to run RStudio Knit, and get the error:
"evaluate 0.7.2 is required but 0.7 is available".
I tried this and did not fixed the issue:
remove.packages("evaluate")
install.packages("evaluate")
Any help would be appreciated.
Try setting up the below option and by rerunning the code.
getOption("repos")
options(repos = c(CRAN = "https://cran.rstudio.org"))
It also happened to me. I downloaded evaluate zip file from here https://cran.rstudio.com/web/packages/evaluate/index.html
and then manually installed it in R Studio (Tools-InstallPackages-zip file).

When you compile the update or remove sentences, if the output like this, you could make some settings, since maybe the problem is your internet. Follow the steps:
Open Rstudio.
Click tools.
Choose global options->packages.
Modify CRAN to the country you living. like, China or Japan. Cause your browser maybe work only you do this.

I'm trying to setup a Arma 3 Wasteland server for me and some friends.
But when I try to run it it gives the following error:
./arma3server: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by ./arma3server)
I'm not an advanced linux user, I'm more of a noob, I tried googling but it doesn't work, is there anyone that could help me fix this? Just give me a step by step guide of what I have to do please. If you need more info then please ask I'd be happy to give more information.
