Greetings to developers community.
I'm new(beginner) on wordpress developing. I wanted to challenge myself and try to build a wordpress theme from an existing Static Website, (HTML to WordPress).
I've come across a problem or better to say I'm not having an idea of what to do on this step of development and wanted to ask for any advice or references on how to manage dynamic content on pages. What I want is: From the Dashboard if a user want to edit the content of a page how can he achieve it and do it without wanting him to go over the code. I am going to post a screenshot because I might not be cleared of what I want.

So those description how should be inserted on the page and be modified later if wanted without braking the style or model of the page?
I've tried Custom Fields but WordPress has a limit and can't add as many as I want and the list of custom fields went large.
Thank you in advance.
Your issue is easily solvable with a dynamic content plugin. you can try "Dynamic Widget Content" or If>So Dynamic content. Both free and worked great for me.
I am developing my own Wordpress theme and I want an image slider on it. I don't want it to be hardcoded, so the user should be available to change images in the admin panel. I decided to give a chance to Nivo Slider Plugin.
So far so good, but how to tell my theme "Use this plugin and place the slider on that specific place"? On the other hand I've read somewhere that it is not good practice to use plugins for developing a theme. So I am little bit confused how to accomplish my goal? I am pretty new in Wordpress and some directions and advices will be really useful for me.
I can advise you to use Revolution Slider, which is for me the best slider plugin in the universe !
I have been asked to advise on a gallery on their Old site and recreate it in WordPress. I dont know what gallery plugin they used, but do you know where I can find a tutorial or another plugin that looks identical to it? Any suggestions will help.
Thanks,
Josh
Yup Sure You can search a gallery plugin at the site Wordpress plugin here is one plugin as per you need fro your site.
This site has some handmade effects. I uses the Fisheye plugin and the jQuery Lightbox module ubt it also use them manually. If you inspect the source of the page you will find out the functionality.
I've started seeing on wordpress theme sites with the ability to preview a theme on the same page, I've tried searching for the plugin but I can't find any - I'm assuming its an iframe but I could be mistaken. Has anyone come across this before and whats the solution as I want to be able to create this for myself?
many thanks
Check out the Theme Test Drive plugin.
Once activated, you should be able to combine the preview URLs (http://www.myblog.com/?theme=Default) with iframes and/or whatever lightbox solution you prefer.
It's a little bit an unconventional question but I'm trying to find a specific slider in wordpress. The one that is on this website:

I look in the plugin library since three days and don't find it. Does anyone know or have a trick to know what is this slider plugin.

It could be the template that they are using, have you checked their source code?
