I have never used Adwords or Analytics before...
I have Adwords and Analytics and I have one multilanguage site. I have 2 goals that you reach after posting certain forms. All forms and "thank you" pages are in all languages. Should I use one tracking code for all "thank you" pages or should I create one for every language? If I should create one for every language, how can I do this?
You should only create one tracking code for all pages
what you can do is track language for each page as a content group/custom dimension and send it to google analytics.
Here's how you can create custom dimensions and content groups

My company's support department uses freshdesk to handle our help desk tickets and also to host our solution center articles. I am trying to track when users click links to our help center articles that we put in our ticket replies. So far I've been trying to do this by using utm parameters, and creating a unique campaign for each article. I am running into difficulty programmatically accessing the text area where we type our replies to add the utm parameters to links before they are sent out. I am wondering if there is a better way to go about this that I'm not thinking of. I know this is pretty specific, but any ideas are very Appreciated!
Managing distinct campaign names for each help article may be a hassle. I'd suggest you turn to event tracking for this kind of task. You may have set up sending an event to analytics each time a link to help article is clicked and put the URL of the link to some of the event parameter e.g. 'event action' or 'event label'. So then you can get the event data in Behavior > Top events reports for each link

For marketing purposes, if a link to our company website is posted on a page on an external website. Is it possible to track the time in which the user landed on the external website and clicked on the link to our company website, using custom tracking ?
I have been reading about custom GA tags however am having a hard time understanding how to make the above possible.
Thanks in advance!
You cannot track an external website, as you can only track sites where you control the tracking code.
If you have control over the external site and have implemented analytics tracking there you would
create a timestamp on page load
add an onclick event handler to the link to your site
in the callback function for that link create another timestamp, substract the original timestamp to get a duration
send a user timing call:
ga('send', 'timing', 'Link', 'Duration to click', duration);
Where the "duration" parameter would be replaced with your timestamp.
As I've said that would only work if you can run your own Google Analytics on the external site which does not seems very likely. Plus I have really no idea what you mean by "custom GA tags" (there are custom variables and custom dimensions/metrics, both of which will not help you here).
So basically the anwser is you can't, really.
I'm using Google Analytics for the first time. I have been waching some videos about how to set up Google Analytics for a website. I'm a little bit confused. In the videos they paste the tracking code only once like in the index.php. Is this really enough? Can Google Analytics track all the activities on all other pages in my website? I thought there should be a unique tracking code for each page on the website or am I thinking wrong here!? Preciate some explanation. Thanks!
Basicaly it is enough. You have to put google analytics code to all pages you want to track. You can do it by putting it into for example index.php which is shared by each page. Google analytics will handle all the activities on all pages and you will see results in admin section (reports and other staff).

EmbeddedAnalytics - No programming necessary. Simply define you chart and paste a snippet of code in your page where you want the chart to display.
I have a website where members can create their own page. Current I have a script that tracks how many views the member page was viewed. But I would like to display more information like unique visits, return visits etc.
Is there any analytic software that could let me do that?
I am guessing you want to display on each member page some analytics information.
You didn't specify what language you used to build the site.
Here's a PHP API class to query a Google Analytics account.
Also, check this and this for documentation about the API. You can retrieve analytics data / metrics in many ways that the default Analytics reports don't show.
Now you need to think of a way to differentiate between member pages in Analytics (use custom variables in your tracking code, maybe).
Hope this helps.
If you don't want to deal with getting in to the Google Analytics API, I suggest you check out some of the solutions on the Google Analytics Application Gallery. I for one work with embeddedanalytics. While we don't have it very well published on our site, we have done a number of CMS type implementations, allowing a single implementation to be used by many different users of the site. The differentiation could be based on page path or some specific custom variable. Visit us and contact us directly if you are interested.
(disclosure - I work with embeddedanalytics)
